My wife and I recently bought a new house and we contracted him to do a remodel that spanned new windows, new lighting, new wood flooring, new insulation, and other pre move-in "touchups". We thought we bought a "nice but on the older side of a house." Rano turned our house into our perfect dream home! Rano's customer service attitude is outstanding: He lays out your options clearly and outlines exactly what materials and labor cost. In addition he lets you know quickly if problems arise. Generally speaking I've never seen him miss a completion date; though it did happen this past remodel - but we can chalk it up to anal Foster City building inspectors. This resulted in us having to delay our move for a day, but this is where Rano really shined. The day prior to our move, he came to the new house and did a final clean up (edge to edge) at 9pm on a Saturday! This attention to detail always impresses me. I like anal construction people. :) Rano's team is excellent - he's the only one I trust to do multi day through multi week projects and give him full run of the property while we're at work. In addition I've always trusted his judgement when I ask the inevitable: "Is the extra $ in materials for this worth it?" There's no attempt on his side to upsell the unnecessary or un-needful.
