I can get treatment for UTIs and common colds in less than an hour. No need for urgent care or in person doctors visits. The only reason I been at an office is due to paper work an a weird viral pink eye. My doctor is awesome. He takes his own vitals and does everything meaning none of the repeating everything you just told the MA or Nurse (I'm a nurse myself so I get it) just straight to the point. My doctor remembers everything from the last visit and it's easy to message him if needed. They do labs here as well. I never spent no more than like 5 minutes in the waiting room either. Parking? Don't worry about it, they validate. Just show on up. Yes I know Amazon bought them, but Amazon owns the internet. Might as well enjoy your doctor visits

Trying to get a response via the app or a simple follow-up on labs is like shouting into a void; they are quick to bill you but impossible to reach when you actually have a question. It's incredibly frustrating to pay a yearly membership fee just to be treated like an inconvenience. The staff is dismissive, the organization is a disaster, and the 'premium' experience is a complete myth. Save your money and your sanity--go literally anywhere else in Houston.

I pictured rows of "patients" sitting in a chair attached to a tube that is connected to a pole that is pulled around should a frail patient need to relieve their bladder. BUT....whoa! This was like the Business Class on British Airways. They greeted me with matching energy and welcome, telling me a little about the setup while walking me to the refreshment stand - coffee, water, juice, a variety of small snacks - and then asked, "Would you like a private or open room?" Selena was a delight, even coming back at the beginning to ensure I had everything I needed (she is a keeper, AdaptIV). I picked a private room with voice commands for music, volume, fluffy leather recliner chair, etc., and just before leaving, she said, "Would you like a warm blanket?" I felt so cared for and comforted that I wanted more transfusions (lol, not really, but you get the point). Then, the nurse (two days, different nurses, and both OUTSTANDING) explained everything, bringing things that would help me with the discomfort. I was so relaxed I fell asleep. It was nothing like I imagined; it was something I enjoyed. So....kudos to AdaptIV, but more importantly, thank you to Selena and the two nurses who cared for me (ugh, I forget their names); you all made it a lovely experience, and you were all engaging. I love my doctor, Dr. Cassandra Wertz, and her nurse Dee. They make an awesome team, and always make me feel supported and never rushed, the way that many physicians tend to be these days. All my questions are always answered fully and I leave feeling reassured. Dee is also a rockstar when it comes to drawing blood! She makes the whole process fast and as pain free as possible. I'm not a fan of needles, and she makes it much more bearable! The facility as a whole is well-kept, crisp, and modern. There is even a little refreshment room in the waiting lounge for the patients. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking, but it is only $5 and I can usually find a spot pretty quickly. You pay for your parking at the front desk when you check out, which makes it a smoother process to leave rather than tracking down a machine. Valet is also an option.

This potential for double billing rests entirely with the acting physician and without prior notification to the patient that this will take place. If you don't want to be billed for both an office visit and preventative health visit, then your option is not ask questions or discuss your health with your physician during a preventative health visit (physical). This does not promote Doctor Patient relationship, this provides an opportunity for Medical Clinic of Houston to double bill your insurance carrier for each preventative health visit.

I called the front desk, was given the number of the office manager, continuously called her and got no response. They did not communicate the correct insurance information after my visit and so I was charged almost $1000 for their mistake. I called to have them rectify the situation (as was directed by the insurance company) and they refused to call me back. Eventually, I got the situation rectified but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from that, the first thing she said to me on my visit yesterday was "Are you on drugs?". The way she said it seemed accusatory and aggressive. I was stunned. Not only have I never taken illegal drugs in my life, it's presumptuous , offensive & unprofessional to make such a statement without knowing anything about my medical history or current prescription meds. I never filled out a recent medical history form before this visit. Perhaps she should have read it before launching into this question within 20 seconds of our encounter. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, and the injector showed no care or compassion during the procedure. What shocked me the most is that I was not offered any numbing or comfort options at all. The procedure was extremely painful, and no one made any effort to make me feel comfortable or explain what they were doing. I came in as a paying client and was treated as if I was getting a free service. This is not okay. When you pay this amount of money, you expect respect, professionalism, and basic care. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.
