However this was a blessing in disguise because I found my new injector and she did such a wonderful job on me and we were able to talk about my previous horrible experience and I would really suggest looking elsewhere then doing any procedure with her. After all was "healed" I realized the only thing she did was take my money and be extremely rough with my face. When they were doing my cleaning the dentist did the "cold test" which was put, very cold, pressurized air on my molars. This of course sent pain all over my body. The dentist told me I needed 2 root canals. My thought's were "if I need it, I guess I need it ". They send in the financial person and she's telling me the price, I tell her I'll do one for now. I thought they were going to schedule me in to come back and do the procedure. They wanted to do it same day without telling me, they were just going to start working on it! Then when I said I couldn't do it that day because I have plans the dentist tried to guilt me into doing it that day!!! I wound up going back to my old dentist and thought I would suck it up and just pay the out of pocket cost. My old dentist said she wouldn't recommend a root canal.

I agreed with the recommendations as one tooth was infected and I know it needed to be treated. The teeth were removed in December 2023. I had some complications that required another procedure. The specialist who conducted the teeth extraction ad the follow up did not have the best bedside manner. She was somewhat aggressive; she was not calming or comforting. She could improve on her consideration of what the patient is going through. I will continue to go to Connect for my cleanings, but hope to never have to deal with dentist who does the extractions. The office staff are great and the location is very convenient.

First off, the waiting room is crowded. You will see a ton of people waiting in the hallways. They are always behind. I came 15 minutes early for my appointment and wasn't brought to the back intill well after an hour after my appointment time. And I say brought back, not seen because they have you waiting in a queue to get X-rays that they should have already received by the referring dentist. The dentist himself was nice but the price of surgery even after dental insurance was almost $2000. I provided both my dental and medical insurance (medical can cover some parts) but they didn't bother to run it for the parts that could be covered with medical. I also didn't agree with their practice. Most practices will have a day where they just do surgeries. This practice does both surgeries and consultations the same day which is why everything is booked up. The literally oral surgeon is doing your consultation in between surgeries. I do not agree with this and feel like this is just a money making practice. I do plan to get a 2nd opinion elsewhere

Had two implants done by Dr. Kim between 2016-2018. The first one he bragged no other dentist would…read moreconsider doing with my low of bone density but he talked me into it saying he was the "best". 7 years later and the implant has failed and my new dentist has told me after reviewing my original xrays it absolutely should not have been done in the first place. When having my second implant done, Dr Kim incorrectly inserted my IV causing pain all down my arm and keeping me from going to sleep. When I tried to alert him to this he told me to "shut up" or I would "ruin his good work." leaving me awake and in pain for the remainder of the procedure. The only saving grace was the nurse who put the gas mask on me every chance she got, leading to me telling myself I was just a car at the mechanic so the drilling into my face was standard procedure. I am still traumatised by this experience, leaving me shaking and crying for even the most basic dental cleanings. I have sat on this review of his horrible bedside manor wanting to believe he had at least been successful with a difficult case of an implant but now that I am having to spend time, money, and revisit trauma to have it removed it is more clear than ever Dr Kim cares more about his ego than his patients. She had had some minor cosmetic work done by another dental office a couple of years before and the work had yellowed and looked bad. She needed major correction so we went to Dr. Shinta. The office is very nice. The people are very kind and everything was very professional. But I have to give special thanks to Dr. Shinta. He did everything to make the experience as pain-free as possible and was very patient about every step. The corrective work (cavities etc) was top-notch but the cosmetic work is out of this world. You CANNOT tell she's had such extensive work. You can't tell she's had ANY work. It looks completely natural. It is a work of art. I've waited a couple of years to put in a review because I wanted to watch how it held up given what time did to previous work by the other dental office.
