He was available after my procedure at any time to reassure me during my recovery (because I'm always one to get in my head) which I can't thank him enough for. The surgery team there as well was very kind to me (I've had bad experiences at other places going under anesthesia before). They didn't rush me to leave the facility right after my procedure and took their time in taking care of me. I highly recommend Dr Chattha for any procedure and to be honest I would highly recommend probably any surgeon or any staff member there. I thought they were going to schedule me in to come back and do the procedure. They wanted to do it same day without telling me, they were just going to start working on it! Then when I said I couldn't do it that day because I have plans the dentist tried to guilt me into doing it that day!!! The specialist who conducted the teeth extraction ad the follow up did not have the best bedside manner. She was somewhat aggressive; she was not calming or comforting. She could improve on her consideration of what the patient is going through. I will continue to go to Connect for my cleanings, but hope to never have to deal with dentist who does the extractions. First off, the waiting room is crowded. You will see a ton of people waiting in the hallways. They are always behind. I came 15 minutes early for my appointment and wasn't brought to the back intill well after an hour after my appointment time. And I say brought back, not seen because they have you waiting in a queue to get X-rays that they should have already received by the referring dentist. The dentist himself was nice but the price of surgery even after dental insurance was almost $2000. I provided both my dental and medical insurance (medical can cover some parts) but they didn't bother to run it for the parts that could be covered with medical. I also didn't agree with their practice. Most practices will have a day where they just do surgeries. This practice does both surgeries and consultations the same day which is why everything is booked up. The literally oral surgeon is doing your consultation in between surgeries. I do not agree with this and feel like this is just a money making practice. I do plan to get a 2nd opinion elsewhere

When having my second implant done, Dr Kim incorrectly inserted my IV causing pain all down my arm and keeping me from going to sleep. When I tried to alert him to this he told me to "shut up" or I would "ruin his good work." leaving me awake and in pain for the remainder of the procedure. The only saving grace was the nurse who put the gas mask on me every chance she got, leading to me telling myself I was just a car at the mechanic so the drilling into my face was standard procedure. I am still traumatised by this experience, leaving me shaking and crying for even the most basic dental cleanings. I have sat on this review of his horrible bedside manor wanting to believe he had at least been successful with a difficult case of an implant but now that I am having to spend time, money, and revisit trauma to have it removed it is more clear than ever Dr Kim cares more about his ego than his patients.
