Initially, they attempted to say my entire piping would need to be replaced, that's them gauging your knowledge for pricing. They used my vinegar and water, flat head, and steel scrubber. Would I use them again, no. Prices are ridiculous for their labor and I had to re-fix the hot water setting on the shower as it was not set correctly.

They told me someone could be out first thing this morning and gave me a 10-11 timeframe and even showed up minutes before 10 am. They quoted me before going saying no charge for assessment but the problem I had would likely cost me $125 and that's exactly what they charged. I didn't feel lied to or tricked and I felt like the communication was outstanding. They gave me options of what I could do (buy new system, change lines so system isn't used anymore, etc and let me decide. They were friendly and helpful in understanding all options. The top part has rings inside and they crack or warp. Last year the entire pipe cracked. What a pain. So this year was no different- and then to top it off, my front yard faucet AND the back one too were leaking! This year I called Union Plumbing. What I love about them right off the bat, is that a nice lady (yes a live person) answered my call instead of an answering machine- and it was the weekend. She told me the earliest they could get someone out was today but the would squeeze me in if there was a cancellation. They had a time window of when they were expecting arrive and I got a text message the night before as a reminder and another one this morning when they were on their way. Two really nice guys showed up and the showed me everything and explained everything. They had a tool that can sense water/ a leak inside the wall and that was a blessing- although Luciano would have loved it if these guys started cutting a hole in the side wall so he could have a doggie door! So they replaced the part, had me run the sprinkler for two minutes and rechecked for any leaks- it is nice and dry. Then they went o to work on the faucets, front and back, and replaced parts there also. Everything is nice and snug now! Best part is that when I went to check in on Yelp, they had a 5% discount coupon for the labor costs!!!! This came in handy today for sure. All in all, I am thankful they were able to see what they needed without tearing holes in the wall. They were on time and the service from the phone call I placed to them taking care of my property (rolling up the hoses) was A+++.

HWS came and gave me a quote and as soon as I had my garage area cleared I called and set up an install date. On the day of installation the crew was on time and worked very efficiently to complete my install. Once completed they went over the unit and use. It has been a few weeks since the install and I am so happy! The system works as promised and I really love having the better water. It tastes so much better than straight out of the tap. After being in this home just a few months I had already started noticing the buildup of calcium/lime around the faucets and having to use more soap than I used to when I had the system in my previous home. My skin is getting back to what it was before, so soft. If you are thinking about a water softner system you can't do better than HWS. Ihave a Brita unit (one of the best names in the business) and the price was amazing. I had others wanting to sell me a softner system but they wanted to charge double and one triple of the cost from HWS. Best decision you can make, I swear by the system for over 30 years and forward with my new system.

I called on Monday to confirm we were still good for the afternoon slot but he said they were running late and asked to reschedule to the next day. Next day he texted me about an hour earlier than anticipated to say they were headed over; not a big deal as we were available. He and his crew were professional, quick, listened to concerns and finished the job, cleaning up the area to spotless condition. They did exactly what needed doing and did it well.
