A very reliable delivery service! Every time I want to deliver a gift to a local friend, but have not wanted to deliver in person, I use Rapidus! They have never let me down. The process is very straight-forward and their app is foolproof: You select pick-up and drop-off locations, indicate time preference for the delivery and describe the item to be delivered. You immediately receive the cost of the service (which has for me always seemed more than reasonable. Every time I have used this service, the driver has arrived within the time frame I have indicated. I didn't want this relationship to end and they made sure to assist me and repair it. OLD REVIEW Subpar customer service. I was charged a cancellation fee for an error in their ordering system. Even though I re-made the request with changes and paid for it, they charged me for the cancellation fee on the previous order that was due to their own platform. Service was fantastic. We had shipped a Christmas package to our 92 year old Aunt only to find she had fallen and was recovering in a nursing home. We are in Canada and really wanted her to have the present which was Christmas treats but no idea how to get it from her apartment to the nursing home 2 miles away. A bit of time on Google brought up all your great customer reviews. It was very easy to setup online and the driver texted when they were picking up and delivering. Without any issue like this, Rapidus has been a respectable and efficient service for courier delivery. Irene, thank you for helping us through this! We're leaving the issue below. But Rapidus has restored our faith with a personal call and resolution! Be very careful using this service. Customer service is either non-existent or of terrible quality. Resolution of any difficult issue will be entirely one-sided. We used them quite often with satisfying results until there was a problem. The platform guided us through a recent delivery and every detail and procedure was followed exactly as prescribed. We had a large delivery and selected that along with accepting the extra charge. We provided dimensions as requested. We were sent a vehicle that could not fit our delivery even though those dimensions were clear and even larger than the actual item being delivered. We were told this was somehow our fault and we needed to pay the maximum size delivery charge for a new request. This was acceptable to us even though we felt this was an error by Rapidus. We were then told that we would also be charged a cancellation fee for the previous request. I inquired with customer service why this was the case due to their clear acceptance of the job with clear dimensions. We were basically told that they did not care about our complaint and that the charge would remain. We are now using another service for courier delivery. read more

Very unreliable! Posted my job with exact dimensions and weight on their website, they ended up ignoring the dimensions and sending a minivan instead of a truck, after that the manager hung up on me, then they gave a number to call him which ended up being a conference call number with nobody on the bridge. From the almost immediate responses to my text message inquiries, to the smooth pick-up and delivery, everything was great! Marcelo O. arrived on time at my residence to pick up 24 heavy bankers boxes; he was polite, pleasant, confirmed the delivery instructions, and declined my offer of assistance with loading (which he did quickly and efficiently by himself). Most of the time I love using this service. My business is litigation support to tons of firms in Oakland and in SF. When I need something picked up or delivered on the fly, normally it's not a problem. But lately, the drivers seem a bit lazy, calling saying there's no where to park and they don't want to get a ticket. My stance is this... you picked up the job, and you saw where it needed to go. No my attorney is not going to come downstairs from the 28th floor to meet you outside in the middle of a deposition. The driver threatened to bring my documents back to my office. Totally unacceptable. This is your business. You signed up for it. Absolutely ridiculous to ask a paying client to come meet you and help do your job. A couple bad drivers makes the rest of the good ones look mediocre and now worries me should I need a rush job done again. Get it together Rapidus. read more

I can't say enough good things about the service we have received from this company. We run a gift basket company in Hollywood and they have made our life so much easier. The couriers all look and sound great and they keep me up-to-date on my delivery so I know exactly when they're delivered which is a great help with my clients. They worked with me on pricing and I am using them more and more. You can schedule online and it's done and we have a customer service rep that really takes care of us. They are exactly what we need and now that we are in the middle of the holiday season they are making our life so much better you're there on time they get it all done I just can't say enough good things about Rapidus. I needed to deliver a document to a friend in the middle of nowhere (the place doesn't even have an address) late in the day. I got a quote on the website, which was about 2x-3x cheaper than other services ($170 vs. $350-500); quickly created an account online and booked the delivery; the driver came within 20 minutes and delivered the document to exactly where asked; I was able to track the driver's location in real time using the provided link. Asked driver if we could put the boxes into the back of my open SUV. He refused and instead put all 4 boxes on the floor, such that I had to bend down and pick them up off the floor (2 were quite heavy). Honestly, would have been easier for me to just take them out of his trunk myself, or if he had just handed them to me. Seemed like he did it on purpose to make me bend down to pick them up. He proceeded to drive away without saying a word (while I was still picking up the boxes off the floor and putting them into back of SUV). Came across as rude and disrespectful. Quickly James accepted and arrived about 50 minutes later, 2 minutes ahead of his ETA. This was Friday at 9:56pm. I could watch him in real time and at 11:21 I was notified he was near. Worst delivery service that I have tried so far. 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up my driver told me to cancel because he could not find parking. You are a courier/delivery service, figure it out. Know the logistics of parking in the area before you take the job. I offered to come to the driver, but that did not work for him and he launched into why he couldn't come and that he had already accepted another delivery and was no longer in the area.
