Two days later, the agonizing pain forced me to go to Patient First for emergency care. After a proper, thorough examination, the doctor there found that it was not a skin tag at all--it was a large, live tick that had been embedded in my neck for weeks. They removed it immediately.Because Abu Sheriff failed to perform a basic, careful examination, I carried a live tick for days longer than necessary. I have now officially tested positive and been diagnosed with Lyme disease as a direct result of this delayed removal and severe oversight.I have full medical documentation, photographs, and records from Patient First proving this negligence. This office is a major patient safety hazard. If you value your health, avoid this facility and this provider.

Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

I loved that while thorough, the new patient paperwork wasn't like a book. I was able to complete if before being called to the back (which was rather quickly). Dr. Reid and the PA that took my vitals were both very courteous, professional, and timely yet thorough. Dr. Reid took her time to get to know me as a patient and paid close attention to my family history. After taking her time to complete my physical, she sent me to the lab for blood work, and they were just as efficient. Then she gave me the number to a psychiatrist that has a very long wait list to be seen by new patients, which I'm pretty sure she googled for it, and told me I should go on anti depressants. She looked like a very new doctor, but even so, google is not the answer to everything, if I'm advised not to google and self diagnose my symptoms, then I'd like a doctor and/or nurse who can make the educated diagnosis and suggestion of treatment. The drop-ceilings in some of the rooms have deteriorated to a point that they are beginning to bow in the center and even tear. After my last trip that lasted three hours for one x-ray, I think I'll be finding another place to go for treatment of my accidents and ailments. The thing I really like (besides his nurse Melinda) is that Dr. Kin will send you to a specialist when he sees that something in your bloodwork is not quite right. For me, this helped discover an autoimmune disease that left untreated could have put me in dire circumstances. I highly recommend Dr. Kin aand his staff as your next family physician!

She DID NOT know AND asked me to call back when the woman who knows about it returned from Spring break! There was no mention of when that return would occur. I'm curious to know why one would be tasked with answering the phone at one's workplace, YET be incapable of or unwilling to inform patients of the services provided by the office for which one works? This healthcare facility has really become severely subpar since the departure of Dr. George Joseph. We are in desperate need better customer service by their office staff.
