i'm a college student, i thought it would be smart to save on getting my screen changed. i should've just paid the extra $100 to get it fixed at apple, i dropped my phone out my pocket while squatting to pick something up off the floor and it cracked. same week i got the screen changed, if durability wasn't enough the quality is a crazy downgrade- but it's supposedly "the best screen replacement since we can't use apple". there's no way because if you look at reviews for other places nobody talks about how there's a warning screen saying that the screen isn't authentic, my phone overheats now, it takes abnormally long to turn on and actually keep a charge. the screen must absorb the charge even though at "max brightness" it still isn't bright enough to see in the sun. my screen is now glitching, and keeps resetting on its own. every week is a new thing. & you can't even see what he's doing when he changes the screen, you sit in a chair in front of the door while he does whatever to your phone. you're better off paying the extra whatever and getting it done somewhere else, you get what you pay for isn't the phrase for this service . i get supporting small business but it feels like i got scammed, i was better off with my cracked screen before. now i have a cracked screen, out $200, and my phone doesn't act right. read more

Prime example of you get what you pay for. The Rappacell guy was very responsive and saw me right away. He works out of his apartment, so you have to wait in the apartment stairwell while he works. The area and building are a bit sketchy, so I just waited in my car. He repaired my cracked screen in about 30 mins. It was fine for about 3 weeks then the screen started randomly flickering and stopped responding to touch. I took it to the Apple store and they said it was something with aftermarket screen and that it messed up a metal connector. The Apple guy then shook my phone to let me hear the loose connector. Im not very tech saavy, so I can't say for sure that it was due to the screen repair, but the Apple guy thought so. I would have brought it back to the rapplecell guy but I figured I'd cut my losses and get a new phone, while the trade in value was still high. read more

Called and got my Iphone fixed within an hour at Rapplecell . Spent the afternoon at the apple store and they told me it was water damage and not covered under the warranty. Apple suggested i get a new phone at full retail. Rafael was professional and respectful. I would recommend coming here over other places as the owner is the one who fixes your electronics.
