Today, (Thursday) the "whatever" manager that came to me was rude, acted like I was a bother. I said that I had talked to another person he was willing to make a deal. He then said MAP price only and abruptly turned around and walked away from me, not even giving me a chance to respond. I had cash and was willing to work the price to what he had, but never had the chance with his horrible attitude. If you are going to treat customers like this, you probably won't be around much longer. So now, I will endup getting the train on Ebay. Sadly, This is why people end up at Amazon and Ebay. We came back TWO days later to exchange it, only to be told that we couldn't complete the exchange because apparently a manager only comes in on Mondays to process refunds or exchanges. I'm not sure what kind of operation is being run here, but that is absolutely unacceptable customer service. If you're going to sell products, you should have a process in place to handle defective merchandise when customers return it. The value here is not good, and based on this experience, I would avoid this place at all costs. A simple hello goes a long way, but the only person who seemed to maybe work here was engrossed in his phone too much to even notice I was shopping. This store LOOKS well stocked, but it's almost entirely an illusion. It's mostly funko pops, which is fine, but they are dispersed throughout the store in a way that makes finding anything specific impossible. The rest of the figures are old peg warmers marked ilup significantly from msrp. Speaking of wildly crazy markups, the huge selection of back issues are marked "minimum of $3" regardless of the sticker price. The back issues are clearly a large collection of dollar bin books purchased, never sorted, and just flopped out onto the tables like raw meat. It is impossible to shop the back issues unless you have all day to sort through the completely and utterly random boxes. This store lacks any charm, or charisma and seems to be simply a way for the owners to price gouge dollar issues to people who don't know any better. Even the issues being sold at a premium are 3-4 dollars more expensive here than online. In addition, there is signage throughout the store that warns shoplifters that they will be sued for 100,000 dollars if they steal, which i understand is a deterrent for what is probably a real problem, but phrasing it like this reinforces the fact that this place is only looking for an extra buck on goods that are not worth the price, nor effort to steal. If they would actually expend a modicum of effort to clean up the back issues, and break away from the cycle of price gouging comics to kids in the mall, they'd have a decent location and stock, but in the state it is in now, you're better off going to a swap meet.
