Shannon understood my vision and provided beautiful detail photos, aisle meadows, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, cake flowers, welcome sign blooms, sweetheart table meadows, as well as candles and votives. My guests commented endlessly on how beautiful the florals were. They had so much texture and color! We couldn't have dreamed of more perfect floral arrangements for our wedding than what Shannon had created for our big day! She delivered above and beyond, and we would hire her without hesitation for all our life events to come! Shannon designed my bridal bouquet, groom's boutonniere, fathers'/mothers' boutonnieres and corsages for my wedding. Her designs photographed beautifully and I received many compliments on my bouquet. I arranged a pick-up directly from her studio, which worked seamlessly. My wedding venue was a 3-hour drive from San Francisco, but Shannon packed the florals carefully and I was able to transport them easily. Even though I picked up my bouquet two days before my wedding ceremony, everything still looked perfect on the big day. Delicate flowers like peonies and roses, which other florists discouraged me from ordering for a two-day advance pick-up, remained fresh and gorgeous. Before I booked with Shannon, we set up a call and walked through the kinds of flowers and colors I was looking for. Shannon was a great listener and was able to understand what I was looking for from a few Pinterest/Instagram screenshots. I really enjoyed working with Shannon because I could tell how passionate she is about her work and her projects, plus she uses some great tech tools that helped our proposal and payments process go so much more smoothly then with our other wedding vendors. Shannon also worked closely with me on our budget and tried to understand what I had in mind for everything from centerpieces to bouquets. When looking for a floral designer for our wedding I knew I wanted someone that could think outside the box and Shannon absolutely fit the ticket! Beautiful is an understatement when it comes to Shannon's work. I had already chosen Shannon as the florist for our wedding in October and when we decided to elope in March she was available and I didn't have to settle for some generic bouquet and boutonniere. I always wanted to use the color orange in my flowers and even though my dress (a blue sundress with beige, pink and light blue print) had no hint of orange she was able to give me what I wanted with beautiful orange, coral, pink and white flowers which was absolutely perfect. I don't know if some generic florist would've had the creative vision to put the orange with dress that I was wearing and honestly I had given up on using the orange before I talked to her but she had no hesitations when I told her my desires and she perfectly found a way to pull it together. I also decided at the last minute that I wanted to do a floral headpiece and what she made was a floral headband that was very Frida Kahlo-esque, so stunning! I've got so many compliments on the flowers from friends and family that have seen the photos it's ridic. Shannon is AMAZING! I hired Shannon to create my wedding party's personals (bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) for my June 2017 wedding. We met at a local coffee shop where I showed her a Pinterest inspiration photo for my bridal bouquet, and very quickly she understood exactly what I wanted. We could tell she was very creative when we first talked with her and she was so kind to work within our budget. She did warn me when we met that she tends to be generous with her blooms, so I was very grateful that the day before our wedding, she contacted me to let me know that she got a little carried away and that my bridal bouquet was at about 20 inches in diameter. I'm petite person, so I luckily she reached out before delivery so I could ask her to pare the bouquet down to about 15 inches so it wouldn't over power me. When she walked through the door with my bridal bouquet, I was floored-- it was STUNNING!!! My bridal bouquet was absolutely PERFECT-- it looked like the inspiration photo I had shown her, but BETTER! I had let her know in our planning talks that I loved ranunculus and that camellias were an important part of my grandparents' love story. She took those details and wove them into my bridal bouquet making it extra special. On a side note, a couple days before the wedding, I realized we didn't have any decorations for our cake table and in a moment of panic emailed Shannon if she could include some extra greenery when she delivered the flowers. She said she would try, and I cannot thank her enough for coming through -- she brought branches from her own camellia tree and extra olive tree greenery.
