Eyebrow threading is $7 as of Oct 2019. Rashida came as a recommendation from one of my guy friends who goes to her regularly. I brought one of my other guy friends with me (he was scared) and she did an amazing job cleaning his brows up! He had a ridiculous amount of brow hair that she took out with her expertise. I'm super picky about threading because: 1.) I'm Indian/Pakistani I know how threading should be/ feel. 2.) I have sensitive skin. If it's done too tough or over the same spot I break out until it's the next time to get threading done. =\ 3.) I have okay eyebrows but the hair tends to be longer than having a lot of little hairs so if they take out a hair that needed to be there then I go around with a bald hole in my eyebrow. Rashida's is not fancy. She does eyebrows alone. But she's reaaaally good and gentle. I never leave here with little scabs or misshapen eyebrows. Used to love going here, but will be looking for a different place to get my brows done. The price is great, and she does a decent job. However, she's not the gentlest on clients and I would notice tiny cuts occasionally. I went here in need of an upper lip threading. I have thin skin so whenever I wax it removes my skin and is very painful, luckily I found threading. I went here bc I needed my face threaded BADLY. I am a naturally hairy girl and getting my face threaded is normal to me. I saw her ratings and thought it was good. It's small and stuffy but I didn't mind, I can't judge the place if the work is great. Anyway, it's my turn and I tell her full face. Ok wait, this lady did some damn good brows. I have naturally really high arches and bushy long brows. But I absolutely hate super arched brows and always ask the estheticians to make them more straight! Take down the horns! But they never do, they always arch the hell out of my brow so I look like a drag queen. I showed the threader at Rashida's a picture of Kendall Jenner's brows and she got to work. Tbh when I read the reviews and saw how many stars she had I thought I needed to go here due to the good reviews. First off, you really don't know if your eyebrows are turn out even after an appointment. Then after that if you ever point out anything that you think is off or a little different on both Eye Brows she'll start defending herself by saying that she only took out the extra Eye Brow hairs. Secondly today when I went to get my eyebrows done today before a big event this weekend I told her exactly what I tell her every single time and she usually never touches the ends of my eyebrows (tail) because when I told her before not to touch them she said she never does unless otherwise someone says to. when I looked at one of my eyebrows in the mirror after it was done, the end of my tail was completely cut off and it was about 1/2 inches shorter!!! When I told her my eye brow was short and the tail was cut off she told me sometimes she has to take it off to shape the eye brow and I asked her if she looked at my other eyebrow to compare if it should be taken off and she said no. She was being rude AND took my money when it was offered. She also said if I didn't like her work I can find someone else and I will!! $5 brows!! Best brows I've ever had!! She's excellent and I will be returning. Parking: large parking lot shared with other businesses Small but clean store tucked in the side next to the Muay Thai place. I came on a Wednesday at 3pm so there thankfully was no line but I've read that you should call ahead because she's very popular on busy days!! I asked her to keep my brows full but just clean up my sides and remove my little unibrow. I've been plucking and haven't had my eyebrows professionally done in months so I'm surprised I wasn't rocking the full Mr. Bean look;) Rashida was lovely and gentle. A true professional! Since there was nobody in the store she took extra care and time and made sure every single stray hair was removed. It was a very serene experience... sometimes I like to chat, but today I enjoyed just laying back in comfortable silence and periodically she would tell me where to position my hands on my eyebrows. Afterwards she gave me a mirror and asked if I needed any changes and offered calming Aloe Vera gel on my brows. I liked that she asked if you wanted aloe Vera instead of immediately applying because I'm sure some people might not want it or might be allergic. Great customer service! My brows were perfect and this was the first time I haven't had a single stray hair I needed to pluck. This is partly because I was the only one in the store but mostly due to Rashida's skill! I'm a very happy customer. Brows were $5 but I tipped her $3 because that price is just too cheap... Is this tip too low or reasonable enough? Maybe other yelpers can steer me the right way. Small shop with one older woman working. I was skeptical of getting my eyebrows threaded at such a low-key shop because it's always usually a hit or miss for me. Rashida was not very talkative but that's fine because I didn't feel like making small talk either lol. I really liked the shape of my eyebrows after she finished her work, but I did end up bleeding and scabbing because my skin is really sensitive. The scabs went away after a couple days and miraculously did not scar my skin. I ALWAYS scar, no matter how small the injury. Overall, I would definitely come back. Quick, easy, efficient, and cheap. I have been threading for over 5 years now and happened to stumble on this place last weekend. Rashida is very personable and knows what she is doing. Given that it was my first time, I gave it 4 stars... later on as I go more often, I will update to 5 based on consistency, but overall her skill level is high & great! The salon is very small, but that is what keeps the costs low. I got my lips, forehead, and eyebrows done for $15.00 ($5/service). She listened to my request to have my eyebrows thick (Ladies, trick to looking younger = thicker/fuller eyebrows) and saved me from myself when I asked for one more line off. She allowed me to check periodically throughout the process - given it's my first time, I need to make sure I am comfortable. There were a full stray hairs that she had missed, but once I pointed them out to her, she was great at getting them all.
