(Normal, dry, oily) It can last up to 6 weeks depending on skin type. Process is painless. How has this place not been on my radar the last year?! And how are there ONLY TWO REVIEWS?! MIND BLOWING! My brows have been getting massively out of control because let's just be real - I'm terrible at upkeep for them. I've been having amazing results with my Rodan + Fields Lash Boost, so much that my spare-hair growth has been a little crazy, so I had to get things under control. I'm so committed to my waxing girl for all other needs and typically have her do my brows and upper lip, but desperate to have a major clean-up on Aisle Brow, I saw the great (two) reviews and on a whim and most importantly not requiring an appointment, I found Sim. This place is NOW my go-to for my brows/upper lip. The prices are ridiculously affordable! $5.99 for eyebrows, and $5 for upper lip... $11 total?! What? Are you kidding me? Sim was incredible. She is so sweet professional and warm, her reclining salon chairs are comfy, and each station has a personal little fan blowing for your comfort. She uses an astringent before starting, powder to calm post-threading skin, and her services include calming eye gel with a short little temple massage. I spent 30 minutes there to get brows and lip done and I no longer feel like a brow-beast when talking to people. Kid you not, I felt like everyone was staring at my overgrown brows before, and now... BAM! Hair-free, so I am no longer self-conscious when talking to people! My brows look incredible, she shapes, trims, and cleaned up every possible stray hair that was hanging around; even some terrible little upper-(face)cheek hairs that grew with overdoing my Lash Boost! I'm coming back to Sim like - forever and ever and ever. Everyone in Redondo needs to check her out because I've never had threading for $6 and it be flipping fantastic, but SIM IS THE REAL DEAL! Painful lash experience! I purchased a Groupon and ended up at this beauty shop. I regret the whole experience. First off, the lady used my forehead as a tray - she taped the extensions on my face instead of using some kind of stand like normal places do. I had a feeling at that point it wasn't going to end well lol The extensions came out sparse, long like spider legs and very uneven. There was even one extension that pointed straight down. I thought all of my eyelashes were pulled out when the eyepatches were taken off - that's how much it hurt! The owner also left black glue under my eye and said it will come off when I shower.. It's not fun writing a negative review for a local business but I wish I would've known how bad this lash experience was going to be. read more

How do I give ZERO stars?? I usually go to European Wax Salon, but was looking for a deal. So I purchased a groupon November 21 for leg waxing. They wouldn't allow me to schedule an appointment until November 26. (Ominous foreshadowing: This caused my 3-day groupon cancellation period to expire!) Once I showed up, I was a little uneasy because it was completely empty (other salons I go to are generally busy), dark, and shabby. But...it's a deal, and I won't be back, so ... let's just go ahead. But before they could do the waxing, they had to do a "skin analysis." Oh no! My secret was revealed: I have old scars from bike crashes on my leg! (BTW...who doesn't?!? And ... never was a problem before!?!) Anyway, they offered excuse after excuse why they could not provide the service I purchased: Redness...Scar...We can't wax only one leg.... Now, having exceeded the cancellation period, I am simply out $$$ for no services whatsoever. Well, good thing countless other salons aren't afraid of scars!
