I went in for a crown replacement and ended up with Dr. Smith pulling the tooth. he said it was bad and it's like putting a new structure on a weak foundation. it took him a full 3+ hours to pull 1 tooth. He and the other dentist acted like it was a joke as I'm in the chair for three hours. Looking back, I should have sought out another opinion, The tooth was obviously solid. I believe Dr. Murdock would have never pulled it unless it was worse case scenario. I'll never go back unless Dr. Murdock comes out of retirement.

Now, it seems, all of the dentists are being bought out by corporations and run like mills. They rush through patients like an assembly line and are always trying to upsell you. I found a great dentist a couple of years ago and said I would stay with him the rest of my life. But then a corporation bought the place out, so he quit and moved away. So I passed on the next couple of cleanings that my insurance would pay for because I didn't have a dentist that I liked or trusted. But then a friend of ours recommended Dr. Rosvall, my wife went for a cleaning and loved it, so I went too. The hygienist was great--the best I've had! And the dentist, Dr. Rosvall, fixed a problem I was having with my four top front teeth being loose due to bone loss.
