If you don't speak Italian, don't bother. We definitely couldn't understand one another, and as a result, I'm very unhappy with my hair, and they refuse to fix it free of charge. They said they'd have to charge me for a new cut, and it just looks terrible. I'm so updNever again. Fabio continues to threaten me because I'm unhappy with his "work." If you're unhappy with the result, he will make sure you suffer and won't give you your money back or even offer to fix the cut free of charge. My hair has never looked this bad. It's awful! And when I went to ask for my money back, he told me I needed to see a doctor. A very inappropriate response to an upset customer whose hair has clearly been butchered. Even showing it to other people, they say immediately "what happened to your hair?" Before I even tell them I'm upset. This is so wrong that he gets to keep getting away with this. He RUINED my hair, and I'm NOT taking back this review. read more

This is the best hair salon in Firenze. Great people, wonderful service and the best atmosphere. The staff is just magnificent. my son said the best haircut he has ever had in his life is from Stefani, a ray of sunshine. The owner plays jazz and sometimes plays his hone. And if you want to practice your French, there is a bello there who is from France. I love getting my hair done there too. They do all types of hair there!! My brother is getting married here in Florence, and it was very important for us (groomsmen) to find a place that will give us great cuts before the wedding. We searched several places and found this among others. We stopped by, and talked with Justin about what we were looking for. He's from England and speaks perfect English. This was crucial. He was very personable and accommodating. We needed 5 cuts that day, and he squeezed us in flawlessly. He is a great barber, and we are thrilled with the final products. He did fades for all of us, and trimmed the top with scissors. He washed our hair with soap. He trimmed and shaped our beards as well. We had great conversation with him. Thank you, Justin! This place is really wonderful! The lady that cut my hair was very sweet. She spoke some English, so no worries if you're an English-speaker. It really helps to bring in a picture of what you want! I paid 40 euros for a styled cut, which is pretty reasonable and about the same as what I would pay in the US. She was very talented, and I left a very happy customer :) read more

Perhaps he (I think Fabio, but not totally sure) is great at cutting hair, but he was really terrible dying mine. I asked for an brown to red ombre and he instead gave me some random red highlights in the bottom half of my hair. Beyond this, he was extremely aggravated that it took so long to dye the hair blonde then red, which as a hairdresser, he should have known that it would take a while. He tried to convince me to simply keep the random blonde highlights instead of adding red. After being very rude the majority of the day, he then charged a ridiculous amount for this hairstyle that was absolutely nothing like the photo I showed him that I could pay only in cash. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone. read more

I am an American from Chicago. I've been in Italy for two weeks and needed a haircut for a wedding I am attending. Since I'm in the wedding I was really nervous about getting a haircut. I found this place on yelp and the reviews were amazing but they were all in Italian. I took a shot, walked over and they did an amazing job. My wife and I are very pleased. I have African American hair and got a high bald fade. While i waited for a haircut I watched them give very good haircuts to every single demographic, black, white etc. They also give great beard shaves. The shop is clean and decorated with a jazz theme. My guess is Fabio, the owner loves jazz music. Fabio greeted me and made me feel welcome even though he didn't know any English. No one in the shop speaks English. Be sure to bring a picture with you of the haircut you would like to receive. I paid $35 euro for my haircut and beard trim. Happy! Happy! Happy! read more

I walked into Rasoi Hair Jazz hoping for the best and left very happy. Fabio is a whiz with a pair of scissors . The minute he started cutting my hair I knew I had found an artist who lives his work and that I was in good hands. He handles scissors like a conductor with a baton. He gave me a great cut. Plus, he is pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. And the fact that he is incredibly cute is just one more plus. Michela is an artist in the realm of color , wonderful at matching what you want. Equally impressive was what she accomplished with my eyebrows. Never have I had anyone give such attention to detail, and her results were perfection. She too, is pleasant, friendly, and helpful.
