The food is wonderful and service is great.. Very friendly staff :) Large selection of after hour beverages as well as wine. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant in the future!

The entrance. Thought I'd take a picture while we waited for our order.

Terrible business. The management was very rude. I have a feeling the owner doesn't know how to pay his bills. Terrible place to be.

I've been here a handful of times and all the dishes I've tried, esp. the dosas, are delicious! LOVE their filtered coffee (better than Tim Horton's or Starbucks IMO and at a comparable price). The owner (or manager) is super friendly and will always greet you and the servers are friendly. Last time I came here, my server Navdeep, convinced me to just dine in instead of just doing take out (dosas are def best eaten just fresh out of the kitchen to keep their shape intact) and I got treated to a second helping of their yummy soup, which comes with any dosa order :D My bill for a paneer masala dosa plus a filtered coffee came to less than $22 (tip included) - one dosa could easily be shared by two people, so a great deal considering how pricey it is to eat out these days. Might just bump the score down to a 1/2 star as I took my parents here for Mother's Day and my mom got a crab soup but no crab pieces to be seen when she got it. Not sure if it was more a crab broth type soup, but they did add some crab in it when she asked. Anyway, highly recommend to check this place out - surprised there aren't more reviews for this place - they even have a nice healthy juice selection.

When we picked the order, staff wasn't wearing a mask even with restrictions in place, which was a disappointment. Coming to food packaging and time to prepare the order, food was well packed and ready for pickup on time. Order: Chicken Momos (Dim sum): One order contains 10 steamed chicken momos served with peanut chutney and red chilli chutney. Momos tasted fresh and delicious with juicy chicken filling. Both the chutneys were pathetic and didn't taste fresh at all and they impacted the taste of whole dish to some extent. I am giving it 3 stars just because the taste of momos.

Located at the MillWoods Town Center right next to the Goodlife Fitness entrance, the place is quite small and happens to be self-service. They have a total of 20 seating (5 tables) capacity in one go. With an open kitchen filled with woks, you can sure see your orders being prepared. Here's what we ordered: 1. Mango Lassi (CAD 4.99): Preprepared and refrigerated Mango Lassi (a drink made with curd and mango). This was fresh and very sweet; the mango flavour strong. Good to be shared among two (if you are in a mood to share, else gulp up that whole drink for yourself!). 2. Chicken Momos (CAD 9.99): Ten pieces of Momos (savoury dumplings with a chicken filling) served alongside a mildly spicy chutney. You are provided a paste of chilly flakes in a squeeze bottle on all tables. The momos were made to perfection, although the filling could have had a little less oil. That apart, what an amazing portion size. Perfect for a snack for two people. 3. Channa Batura (CAD 6.99): Deep fried Indian bread(2 nos) served with chickpeas curry, curd, cut onions and pickle. This wasnt authentic Batura. The insides were similar to that of a Pita bread and the dough was different. We had high hopes on this, but to no avail. Another aspect we noticed is cleanliness at the place which is nil. The wash area is dirty and the staff handling brooms and out of washrooms, get straight to handling food- bare handed and without washing thier hands first. The staff are extremely welcoming and suggest their popular dishes and are very cordial. The food is decent, but cleanliness go a long way at the place. Am not sure if I will visit the place again for fear of un-hygiene. VFM: 3/5

The last time I was here, unfortunately, it was the latter. My sisters and I ended up sending back the plate of chaat and didn't really enjoy the golguppa platter which is usually one of my favourites. Something was just off with the cook the night we were there. There are so many Indian restaurants to try out nowadays I feel like you can't be off your game any night or you will lose a customer and they may never come back. I will be considering my choices next time.

They had me at chaat!!…read more I love truth in advertising. Whereas most Indian restaurants offer 2-3 kinds of chaat, there's so many here you have to come back to try them all. Come just for gol gappa (pani puri) or pao (pav) bhaji, which I haven't seen together on a menu in ages. Definitely get the chole bhatura (bhatoori), the bread is perfectly doughy without being greasy. The chole was good too, nice spice and flavour depth, not too runny or too thick, and not sweet. I judge an Indian restaurant by the quality of it's chole (chana masala), and this version was better than average. I had to try the kulfi and it came out beautifully presented with just a little faloodah, a delicious treat. We enjoyed our experience here. The server/owner was keen to explain his future plans for the newly renamed restaurant. He was attentive without being overbearing or pushy as we slowly chose which dishes to try. He showed us to mix the green chilli and tamarind sauces without being condescending, and when we ordered our food as hot spice level, not a hint of food racism was detected. The complimentary pappadams were a nice touch. We came at around 6:30pm, and were the sole customers until about 7:30pm, when the restaurant quickly started to fill. We picked up some sweets on the way out, they tasted not bad, fairly average. There were some pretty and creative sweets shaped and coloured like fruit. Recommended :) All this goodness without the trip to India; great flavours brought back fond memories. Will be back to try the non-chaat dishes.
