Let me say that I straight up got in my car and said, hey, I'm going to get another tattoo.... read the reviews and spoke with a few people before making sure this was where I wanted to go. I was greeted by Sebastian, the owner, and we spoke about what I wanted, where, etc. The place is clean.... very clean, which is a very good sign, as if I'm going to be inked, I better be in a sterile environment! He was super friendly and helpful and didn't make a fuss when I asked 1000 questions! This is NOT one of those commercialized places that is open for all foot traffic and has pics of images on the walls to choose from. Yes, I'm dating myself, as I haven't had ink in over 22 years! It is a very classy environment and you can tell the business is very prideful in what they offer! Tory was the man that was free to do my impulsive artwork! NOTE- I lucked out and was able to get in, but appointments are highly encouraged! He worked quick and did an excellent job. We chatted the entire time and it made it go by relatively quick. His specialties are anime/cartoons, etc (none of which appeal to me), but if that's what you need, he's the man! The price was right and I have an excellent addition to my rib cage. I highly recommend this place for all of your artwork needs! read more

Emily was the person that I consulted with and What a rude, unprofessional and my opinion racist lady. From the get go she was rude and just plain nasty. I hated my experience with her and regret ever wanting to go there lost a $50 Deposit. The man that helps was very nice Sebastian was friendly and had a great attitude but the tattoo artist was disgusting. If you want to make your experience nice and friendly don't go there unless you are white. read more

Came here before and after Covid and can honestly say I will be a lifetime customer. Emily is so great at what she does, always professional and honest about what will work and what won't- that is so important. The tattoos I have gotten from Emily are the best work I have ever had done and the same can be said for everyone I know who has also gotten ink from her. I mean how many people will fly from out of state just to get a tattoo?! that really says something. read more

Sophisticated, edgy space staffed by truly gifted, extraordinary tattoo artists. Quick, professional communication, the entire experience was perfect. My best friend and I came down to NC from Connecticut for a week to find a better place for us to live. We decided, that since we loved it here so much, we'd get last minute tattoos before we left. We sent an email to this business and almost immediately got a response from Sebastian. He was a legend and really easy to talk to, he listened to what we wanted and our appointment was booked for the following day. Finally, the next day arrives. Let me give you a run-down of my first ever tattoo. I got something that most artists or people, for that matter, advise you to never get. I got a name. It wasn't the name of a girlfriend or someone who I could potentially grow to dislike, but that didn't matter. We pull in the parking lot, both nervous as heck, yet we still walked in. We walk in, fill out our consent forms, and we met with Julio and show him what we would like. Now, I was expecting him to be like "are you sure you want a name on you?", but nope, he didn't show any signs of judgment or hesitation. He is a king and was so chill and made my friend and I feel so comfortable with him. We will, for sure, be back for more. read more

My piercer was Christian and he did amazing I am so in love with my piercing. He explained the whole process when I was getting pierced. I am also known to faint or feel nauseous when I get piercing and he handled it amazingly getting my water and letting me lay down after getting pierced. The place was very clean and had wonderful piercers. Paid around 122, without tip, for my nose plus an extra piece of jewelry for one of my ear piercings. They also gave me free aftercare saline solution and explained that process in depth. It was amazing and totally recommend Christian for your next piercing!

I recently had a disappointing experience with Byron. The process at Warlock's is not what I…read moreexpected, but I second guessed my judgment, ignored red flags, and got the tattoo. When I first reached out, they told me to email the details of the tattoo and they would schedule me with an artist best suited for it. Then they emailed me back and told me to just look at their galleries and pick an artist. I chose Byron because I figured with his decades of experience, I would get a great tattoo. When the consultation started, it was obvious he hadn't read my email, and he rushed through the meeting without fully listening to my ideas. His lack of attention was evident in the line drawing he provided days later. It was simply a traced version of the inspiration images I had provided. There was no personal touch or creativity added to the design, and it was missing a major component. When I scheduled the tattoo, I noted the missing component and was told he would be informed. I arrived to find he had also not read that note. He hastily sketched it and cut it into the design in literally less than a minute. I wrongly assumed he would only use it as a guide, not actually tattoo that mess on me. The actual tattooing process was a pleasant experience overall (he's conversational and played good music), but the work was sloppy. The line work was uneven, and the color blending was neither well done nor what I asked for. What was supposed to be a dusky sky looked instead like flames, so a tattoo meant to celebrate books instead looked like I promoted burning them. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Byron. He lacked attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism. Art permanently placed on one's body should be a collaboration. Thankfully, I found an artist who is successfully correcting the flaws in Byron's work. The result is beautiful, but it's much darker and will be more than twice the cost, time, and pain to get it where it should have been the first time.

We each had an attendant massage our arms and legs and feet, while we sat in very comfortable recliners. The attendants also used hot stones, which felt very nice. For the detox part we were hooked up to a machine and our feet placed in buckets of water for 30 minutes. We both kind of dozed off because we were so relaxed. I think next time I'd skip the detox and do more of the reflexology, and maybe add a pedicure! I wasn't sure what to expect but this was a really nice experience. I think it was great value for money too.

I had an excellent experience at Ratatat Tats. I emailed the store owner, Sebastian about the piece I was interested in, and we emailed back and forth several times for a few weeks with reference photos, drawings, and idea inspiration. I was able to get an appointment two weeks away from the initial email. After getting a better picture of the style I was interested in for a floral dogwood piece, he paired me up with the artist Julio. When I arrived at the studio, they were very welcoming and laid back. The studio has a very minimalistic and mature vibe to it. Julio made sure that the drawing was the perfect size/ layout before making the stencil and laying it on my arm. He was very collaborative and made sure I was 100% stoked about the design (which I was of course!). Julio has a great eye for detail and the tattoo is absolutely perfect! The needle he used was very thin, quiet, and surprisingly gentle. The tattooing room felt very clean, safe, and creative. We passed the time and chatted about music and books while he was working on my tattoo. I am in love with how it turned out! He made sure I understood all the aftercare instructions and told me I could come back after sitting with it for a few days if I want anything added/ touched up. I would definitely recommend Ratatat Tats to anyone looking for a friendly, fun, talented artist! I had Gabriella. She did an amazing job on my tattoo. It was my first tattoo. Sebastian was so nice. He communicated with me throughout the process. The facility was very clean. They made you where masks and checked you temperature as you came in. Gabrielle did an amazing job! I was shaking a little bit and she still was able to do amazing line work. I also received my tattoo on the rib and surprisingly it wasn't as painful as I had thought. This must be because of the experience of the artist. Highly recommend coming here. read more

I always went to Warlocks to see Julio and when I heard he moved to another shop I just had to follow him there. The shop is super clean and doesn't really even look like a tattoo shop.
