Service was quick and friendly. Staff were always busy either serving or cleaning. Food was great--much better than I expected for a bar in Dodge City. During my visit to this Wendy's, I observed a kitchen employee wearing gloves while removing food…read morefrom the fryer, returning to the preparation station, and then moving to the area where cooked fried food was being staged. I did not observe the employee change gloves between these different activities. Gloves do not prevent cross-contamination when the same pair is used to handle food, equipment, packaging, and multiple work surfaces. I also saw a bag of food sitting on or directly beside the fryer, which raised additional concerns about proper food storage and handling. Management should review these practices and reinforce proper glove-changing, handwashing, sanitation, and food-storage procedures. This review reflects what I personally observed during my visit, and I hope the concerns are addressed promptly.
