The woman at the front counter was lovely and recommended a Greek white wine for us, which was incredible. The food was top-notch. Super fresh and homemade baba ganoush and tzatziki sauce. Pitas were warm. Meat was juicy and flavorful. As we finished our meals, she brought out a piping hot plate of the Greek beignets - warm doughballs drizzled with honey and cinnamon - on the house. Would definitely return!

They cook their meat perfectly and not a lot of places can do that. My husband took photos for me, but it won't let me upload onto yelp due to heic tags vs jpg....Anyway.. Love the food and the atmosphere. Staff were friendly and nice. They even gave us a plate of beignets on the house! Super affordable prices! This little house, I'm assuming turned greek restaurant is so cozy and homey. The only thing is it's so far from us! But that won't stop us from coming again. Definitely, definitely recommend!

Everything we sampled was fantastic. It reminded us of Borough Market in London, getting to sample all the best cheese from all over the world. We went home with cheese from France, Italy, Spain and Missouri! I can't wait to bring family and friends next time they're in town. Kudos to Jakob -- it was his fifth day on the job and he was a pure joy to speak to and learn from!

The entire experience lasts about 90 minutes, and they did start a few minutes late. They did a good job describing the cheeses, the other paired snacks, and the wine pairings. They also did a good job choosing a good variety of cheeses and giving good pairings. The table crackers are refilled throughout the tasting, but nothing else on the cheese plate is refilled. The setup was not quite what I expected. There are six tables that seat ~six people, so you're going to be sitting with strangers. You start by going around the room and introducing yourself and your favorite cheese, basically as an ice breaker to meet everyone there. It was a little noisy and not intimate for a 2-person outing. It felt much more like a social gathering, and I think it would be better as a friend meeting, group gathering, or even a team-building activity. It's also a good way to meet strangers if that's what you're looking for. You get a discount on in-store purchases, which is a nice bonus. You can also take your leftovers home, so don't feel compelled to eat the entire plate like I did! The only other issue was that cashing out took a long time at the end because their POS system wasn't working well.

At some establishments, to-go orders may not receive the same care and attention as dine-in orders, but that is certainly not the case at Easy Tiger. Questions are answered with genuine kindness, and samples are generously offered. Plenty of parking (albeit very narrow) in the lot. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I've been to Easy Tiger a couple of times and now just getting to review it. This spot is easily a good failsafe bet in having a good time and connecting. Very central in Austin and right off of I35. I'm always intrigued by the Texas reuben and almost always get that. The wife got the smoked turkey sandwich w/ avocado. Both are great to be honest and you can see the fresh sourdough bread they make in house for the sandwiches. THE FINAL BAMBOO: The cost for two items was around $50. Ol reliable when it comes to a place that you want to chillax with the kids/friends and have some great sandwiches.

World Market is an eclectic store with global style, offering a variety of items from home furnishings and kitchen items to international foods and drinks. I have found woven baskets from Ghana and Christmas ornaments from Kazakhstan. You can go in and be immediately overwhelmed or bask in the delight of all your findings. World Market is my go-to for chocolate covered tea biscuits, certain types of jams and wines from around the world. The store's ambiance often feels like an open market luring you to different parts of the store. If you are looking for a unique gift, this is the store you. Today I was looking for green tea for a friend...not any type of green tea. I was specifically looking for white hibiscus and peach green tea. Score! I found ample amount of this tea with a plethora of other similar teas. The cashier was so kind to point precisely to the part of the store where I could find all their teas. World Market is a great place to shop for unique items especially gifts. I am more than thrilled with the new location as it is even closer to home.

I also really like their wrapping paper and gift bag options, and find cute hostess gift items aplenty. Today I stopped in and didn't find anything I wanted, but I'll keep coming back because every season is different and their selection rotates. On a very sad for me note, they stopped carrying the chorizo sausage I occasionally buy for a treat. I'm sad to see it go! But you can't have it all. This store is clean and fun to wander in, and the staff is friendly. The checkout line can be a bit slow depending on who's working and how chatty they tend to be. But better friendly staff than the opposite. The parking at this location is terrible- not the fault of World Market, but a factor as a customer nonetheless.

One of the best ive ever had and I'm super picky. I love it when its not too sweet, the layers are actually flaky and NOT dry with the right layers to nuts to sweetness. It had ALL of that and then some. I bought one to try and went back for 1 more. They should sell it in a 6pk. I'd def get that every week with some turkish coffee if they offered that! So.. onto the foods. Got 2 combo plates 1-chicken 1- chicken and beef Both were very flavorful and delish. Came with their own "white sauce" Which was perfect on the dish. Fresh pita made it a great compliment to mop up the foods. The hummus that came with both meals great and fresh. My son swapped the salad for fries. He is a teen and devoured the plate. Everything was juicy and seasoned well. Tabbouleh fell short for me here. Maybe it was an off batch.. I've had fresher in other joints. Come support local!

I was so excited to try it out, and from the moment I walked in, I thought i was going to be in for a real treat. The ambiance was fantastic, ugly outside but a transformation inside. Sure it looks dated and tacky with Persian rugs dressing up cheap wooden benches, and middle-eastern floor seating that seems off limits unless/until they determine whether they like you or not, but it's Austin. There's real personality here. We were pumped for the food, ordering a pretty epic spread. Great: Gyro. Clearly roasted and carved properly on a spit versus the pre-sliced garbage that often graces lesser Greek and Middle-Eastern establishments. Falafel was exceptionally crispy on the outside and moist inside, accompanied by a lovingly crafted hummus. Meh: literally everything else we had was pretty boring or bad. The rice was clumpy, a clear sign that the rice had been cooled and reheated. That's pretty unforgivable (the only time that's permissible and proper is for fried rice or rice desserts like rice pudding). The chicken was overcooked and bland -- no salt at all. Kofta, which I always look forward to was undercooked and slimy inside. No thank you. From its location, kitschy decor, and friendly service I really REALLY wanted to love this place, but sadly, the food is what fell far from the mark. I hope they find their mojo.
