March 20, 2026 review: I tried this Paris baguette location the first time. Parking is a little tricky to find. There is a garage which is right behind the shop but little difficult to find. Another option is street parking. This place is new and indoor reflects that. Bunch of seating option outside and inside. Area also have other shops and walk pathway so good place to walk after taking coffee. We got the Irish cream latte which is little on sweet side. Two pastries , I don't remember the name but one of them was chocolate based and other was fruit with cream cheese, super yum. They also have fig cake which is super yum and does not taste extra sugary at all. That's the just try if you can find it. Usually it comes in the thanksgiving season but since I saw that, I tried their fig cake slice as well. Overall good experience. Most of the pastry and cake slices are between 6-8 dollars. read more

Quick and random stop here, but had a good experience. I was hoping to get lunch, but realized there were just a few sandwiches and salads in the cooler, and it was not as much of a lunch cafe as I expected. I just got some treats and tried a savory crab meat croquette: Crispy panko donut filled with imitation crab, potato, and vegetables. It reminded me of a deviled crab. They warmed it up for me, but it was still cold in the middle. It was really good though! I also enjoyed the mochi dubai chocolate donut. When you walk in, you grab a tray with a little paper wrap and some tongs. Then help yourself from several display cases with rotating fresh pastries, including several savory options. I have been to the Paris Baguette in Houston and I must saw I was in love! Paris Baguette have way better pastries and cakes than 85F bakery. Their croissant is out of this world and so good! I have been obsessed with Paris Baguettee ever since returning a visit from Houston. One day I decided to just Google to see if there is a brand in Austin and i was so surprise to see there was!!! I was thrilled! After dinner we decided to go to Paris Baguette 1 hr before they were going to close. To my surprise they sold out of all of their pastries so I didn't get to see what they had. There was only cakes and tarts and coffee. I got red velevet and cheese cake slice, both I did not like at all. It was a no go. There fruit tart how ever is out of this world and so good! I think it's best to come here during the day where they have everything than at night. Do I recommend this place ? I don't think this visit was a fair visit since we came close to closing. Holy SMOKES! This place is a MUST! Hubby and I stumbled upon it while we were out in Leander helping with the July floods. Decided to make a stop by here for lunch and we were in "AWE" at all of the delicious looking pastries. We grabbed multiple pastries (I don't recall which ones they were), some sourdough bread, and raspberry preserves. The service was fantastic. Everyone was helpful and polite. The place was definitely busy, which to me is always a good sign. Not too loud, but lots of chatter from everyone. Every single pastry we had was absolutely PHENOMENAL. The sourdough and preserves were incredible as well. Just thinking of the goodies we had makes my mouth water. It's probably a good thing it's about an hours drive from where we live, as I would likely be there EVERY day! If you happen to be in the area and lookin for a solid sandwich for lunch, have a sweet tooth craving, OR, need some sourdough for dinner, you MUST stop in. This bakery has no private lot of its own, so you'll have to use either the parking garage around the corner or get lucky finding a spot somewhere on the street. I was lucky to snag a space in the ACC parking lot which was full to capacity. This bakery does a very good job serving the ACC students and all of the apartment dwellers within the confines of the property. Once inside you will see a plethora of very good quality bakery items which include everything from ready-made sandwiches, pizza, donuts, and numerous variations of the croissant. They also have a great variety of early morning coffee drink drinks. There's a few spots to dine at inside, but there's not a lot of space. However, you can choose to sit at a table outside or at a small park across the way. You basically start with a tray and tongs and pick out what you want and take it to the checkout where you'll face the tip screen. They package it up so nicely for you, that you'd think you just shopped at Tiffany's. If you don't mind the parking situation, it's definitely a great breakfast spot to start your morning off. This is my favorite Paris Baguette location, even though it's smaller than others. It is always clean, and the baked goods are always fresh. The staff are helpful and efficient. It's close to UT Austin, so there are usually college kids hanging out or getting some work done here. I like their hot dog roll (ask to get it toasted if they don't offer)! All the pastries and drinks I've had are always good. Street parking is usually tough, so visiting at off-peak times ideal. read more

But i feel that this location (currently the sole one in Austin) is quite underrated. It's quaint and clean. I've been here a handful of times, and the service is also fantastic. One of my favorite things from PB is their cakes; many of them are both filled and topped with fresh fruit. They're not-too-sweet and almost feels refreshing to eat. The soft cream they use is just so light and pleasant. I once walked in around 11AM to purchase a birthday cake. They did not have the one I wanted available/on display. I was pondering if i should choose a different flavor when the friendly staff member went behind to their cake baker to ask if one could be made to be picked up later in the day. Unfortunately, both drinks were overly sweet for my taste--either due to too much syrup or the base drinks themselves being heavily sweetened. Customer service was good, and the tables were clean when we sat down. However, the dining area felt quite cold, and the trash/throw-away station could use a bit more attention. We went here yesterday at around 3pm for desserts. We ordered a cinnamon sugar twist donut and a strawberry custard pastry (as pictured). Each dessert item cost approximately $5/each, which is pretty hefty considering that you can buy a wide assortment of pastries at most local panaderias for $1.50/each. Well I can't begin to tell you our disappointment the cinnamon twist donut tasted severely stale and hard as if it was fried over a day ago and then on the flip-side the strawberry open-faced tartelette tasted mushy and underbaked. Very disappointing for the price paid and also for a franchise like Paris Baguette they really need to work on the freshness of their baked goods or at least be honest and sell the not so fresh items at discounted prices. It's so good. I can't easily describe the ambiance. It's part cafe, part cafeteria, with a bit of work space vibes. It's bright and cute; there's a sort of sunny atmosphere even for their indoor area. The vibrant blue of the place is lovely and inviting. There are plenty of pastries on display that you can pick out yourself and there are lovely coffees available that the staff will make. A lot of pastries they have are savory and of those they are mostly meat based. There's ham and sausage, I also saw one with crab. So I didn't get any non-sweeties, but this is a great spot for your little sweet treat pick me up. The mochi donuts are divine and the croissants are tasty. I'm told the coffee and little cheese tarts are good, but not particularly stand out-ish. read more

The lunch items like the mini popsie style snack size artisanal hot dog were affordable to try and were impossible not to photograph. I loved too, that the owners and cashiers instinctively new I didn't want major packaging for my leftover Prosciutto and goat cheese and arugula pizza half, that I preferred a perfect sized thin pastry paperesque bag, to avoid hurting the environment, save a plastic tree, etc. :) Very thoughtful and very very adorable find, especially to sit outside under an umbrella and people-watch-what's more Parisian than that :)! read more

Paris Baguette is the perfect bakery with tons of locations around the city. Their coffee and treats are expansive and all very tasty. I'm a huge fan of their Mochi donuts that they also offer seasonal flavors in. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this cafe to get tons of work done in as the ambiance isn't always conducive to that, but it's definitely a great place to grab and go. In terms of parking, there is street parking available but it always fills up. I'd recommend any of the two garages available on the street behind. read more

I've been to dozens of Paris Baguette from California to Virginia, and this is the absolute worst PB period. Not only are the selection few and far between, the concept of sanitation is also lacking. The checkout person wore a glove but used that gloved hand to touch the screens and then proceeded to grab the fresh pastries with said gloves instead of the SOP of using the tongue to put the bread into the bag. When confronted not only did this person get defensive and rather than correcting the unsanitary procedure, states that the screens were "cleaned". OK, but I don't know who else touched those screens, and certainly breaking protocol of using the tongue to put the pastries into the bag is completely unacceptable. August 2024 First time going here. Throughly enjoyed it. When you walk in, grab a tray and serve yourself out of the glass cases. Once you're loaded up with goodies, take your tray to a cashier who will box them up for you. If you rather enjoy your treats while you're there, they will be happy to warm up any items upon request. Blueberries and Cream Brioche: Light, joyful and decadent. The star is the pastry cream and blueberry filling, which is absolutely packed inside the brioche. Sweet, not sugary. Well balanced. The brioche is delicate, not doughy. Strongly recommend this one. Would definitely order it again. Strawberry Lemon Croissant: The star is the lemony filling. Absolutely perfect. It's light, airy with a perfect balance of sweet and lemon. The crunchy texture of the mini-croissant balances out the silkiness of the filling. The fresh strawberries are honestly unneeded for this to be an outstanding pastry. However, the strawberry adds a fresh brightness which compliments the lemon perfectly. A perfect harmony of flavors and a definite recommendation. 10/10. Lemon Iced Mochi Donut: Didn't like this one. The dough tastes like a spongy version of funnel cake dough. The icing was sugary and didn't have a lemony flavor...more of an initial "zing" followed by uncomfortable sugariness. The icing was brittle and did not adequately adhere to the dough. Not a fan. I do not recommend. Jalapeño Hawaiian Quiche: Meaty, cheesy, and with just enough heat to keep things interesting. Well-balanced savory treat. Everything about this one just...works. You get "pops" of each ingredient flashing under the spotlight with each bite, each sharing the stage. Not too salty. Definitely recommend. Ham and Cheese Croissant: A classic. The ham is barely noticeable but the cheese shines through. Savory and light. Good but boring - a safe pick. The ratio of dough-to-filling is slightly off. This is something that few will hate, but it isn't cravable and certainly not the main reason to visit. But if you want a regular ole ham n' cheese on bread, you won't be disappointed with this. Very Berry Pastry Perfect bites. The fresh berries pop against the light and fluffy pastry cream. Perfect balance. Definitely recommend. 10/10 Maple Danish: Puff pastry topped with maple goo and chopped pecans. What's not to love? Great balance. Heads up - I went here again recently to reward myself after finishing one of my final papers, I was working at ACC so I walked over. I asked if they had black tea and the guy behind the counter said yes. Im a tea lover and black is my fav. I figured they probably only had one kind so I paid and took a seat and waited. When I got my tea, I opened up the lid and noticed it was red. Then I checked the tag. It was roobios tea - which is an herbal tea. Not a black tea. I spoke to the guy who made my drink and informed him he had given me an herbal when I asked for a black. He said that they have their roobios labeled as black, which is incorrect. Roobios is a red herbal tea. I told him black teas are teas like English breakfast or earl grey - which they have those both but they are not labeled as black teas apparently. The guy remade it for me with the correct tea. I'm sure most people are coming here for coffee but if you're like me and you want tea, just be aware that it seems as if staff isn't fully trained on identifying tea as much as coffee, and/or their teas are mislabeled. The guy even made a comment about not knowing more about tea as he should as a barista. I'll still continue to visit, this wasn't a huge deal. But just wanted to update to make other tea lovers aware! read more

I love that the Austin Asian food scene is getting bigger! Paris Baguette is (I believe) a Korean bakery, and they have locations all over the world. The pastries are really light and delicious, and they also have super good drinks too. I've been twice with my friends, and the first time, we each ordered a slice of cake and lattes. Their lattes are surprisingly delicious! I thought they would focus more on the food, but each latte I've had is well-crafted and balanced. My favorite is the matcha latte. The matcha is blended well, and the overall drink is sweet and creamy. I highly recommend ordering their slices of cake. Each cake has layers of sponge cake with more layers of cream, and it's not heavy at all. It's also not overwhelmingly sweet like American cakes are, so you can eat an entire slice by yourself and still want more. I love how light and fully the sponge cake layers are. I've also tried their chocolate croissants and strawberry + cream croissants. Everything is delicious.
