I initially came to Dr Ravon for a second opinion on dental work I had gotten done elsewhere. He left such a good impression on me, that fast forward several years later I decided to visit his office again when a problem arose with a dental implant done by another doctor. Dr Ravon was able to assess the implant needed to come out. I will continue to have further treatments with Dr Ravon because I trust his expertise, skill level, and thoroughness. His equipment is state of the art, and I believe I am getting top care. Also, I feel he has a genuine concern for the wellbeing of my teeth. Dr. Ravon is a miracle worker. I lost my front tooth 4yrs ago and unfortunately did not get my implant placed promptly leading to extreme bone loss. I was referred to Dr. Ravon to have my defect fixed. He did a procedure where he grafted bone from my lower jaw to my upper ridge area tooth #8. And also did gum grafting. After 4 months healing the area had sufficient bone for implant placement. Went in and had that phase of treatment done and once again a great experience. Dr. Ravon has a great bedside manner. He explains the process and what to expect. Losing my tooth was so traumatic and I'm just so grateful that I am through with this nightmare and can smile again. I don't think is his office and this dentist really deserved 5 stars; they don't follow their promises, I had one implant and one root canal done there little over the year ago, implant as done ok but doctor missed the mark tightening it up into place and it felt kind of little off for some period of time, as for root canal I had to go to different dentist to fix it because Ravon refused to do anything even though he promised to correct his own flaw, The office manager, is just straight out lied insisting that she called me several times, other office worker professionally drained my insurers to very bottom and then try to sell me all branch of additional things that I never needed Very disappointed with this, the office equipped with probably best equipment I ever seen but doc need to follow through when he promises to fix his own mistakes and I hope he got rid off dishonest office manager. read more

The office is beautiful, and the most important aspect in a dental office is that the place looks immaculate. Very clean and organized. Nothing seemed to be out of place. The staff from the front desk and the dental team in the back have excellent chair-side manners. I came in for a filling and everything was explained thoroughly before we started any treatment. Dr. Ravon knows A-Z dentistry. Everything can be done here in one office, from a cleaning to an implant and cosmetic work. It's nice to know I don't need to get referred out for everything. I had a couple titanium implants prior to seeing Dr. Ravon. Both implants gave me trouble from the moment I got them. I had constant discomfort and eventually they both got infected. Dr. Ravon removed them and placed Ceraroot implants in their place. I have had ZERO issues with them. I have never felt them and forget I even have implants at all. Had a serious problem with my front tooth. The crown above the gum line cracked. I went to 4 dentist and by far Dr. Ravon was the most honest. The other dentists wanted me to remove the tooth and put an implant in. The cost and time was unbelievable. Dr. Ravon is my Hero. I live in Seattle ,Wa. In 5/2022 a bacteria infection behind 2 front teeth ate away my upper jaw bone, size of a quarter, leaving 1 tooth in tissue only- but alive and the second tooth half in tissue half in bone. I had consultation with the 5 top periodontist in Seattle. They all wanted to remove both tooth and do a bone graft and then 2 implants- a process that would have taken 2 years, oh and make me 2 caps to cover the whole until I can get my implants. I refused this plan my tooth were alive. I have been working in the medical field for 27yrs. I have knowledge of the Humana anatomy and physiology. First step antibiotic the strongest-oral to clear the bacteria, 2nd step laser off dead/ infected tissue, 3 rd step bone and gum graft. July 2022 after extensive research I found Dr Ravon- he listen to my goal in saving my 2 tooth. I have a history of gingivitis and had to have braces and maxillary/ mandibular surgery- 16 yrs prior. Dr Ravon look at the CT scan and we had a honest conversation. This was going to be a "Hail Mary" but he was willing to help me. 15 months later 3 gum graft and 2 bone graft later, I have both tooth stable, my natural bone has grown. Thanks to Dr Ravon commitment, knowledge, skills and his innovative thought process. Dr Ravon was honest from day 1. And he really care and truly listen to me and in that moment we trusted each other. I will follow all home care and ge will do his very best to save my tooth-my goal. Dr. Ravon is a very competent dentist, I don't have anything bad to say about him, and I like him as a person. My problem is with his staff, and it's a couple of very big problems. I'm posting this on Yelp because it seems that a business will take notice when it gets a negative review here. So his staff is welcome to finally contact me and do right by Dr. Ravon who I'm sure has no knowledge of the following nonsense. I made an appointment to see Dr. Ravon about two months ago. When I was on the phone I was told I had a small balance from a couple of years ago, about a hundred dollars. I was never notified of this outstanding sum, but I told the receptionist I would pay it when I came in for my appointment, which I did. After my visit I got a notice that my credit score had been wacked 40 points by Dr. Ravon's office putting the past due amount on my credit even though I said I would pay it, and did pay it. I called Dr. Ravon's office and vigorously complained about this past due balance being put on my credit especially considering it had been sitting in my file for a couple of years and they hadn't bothered to inform me of it all that time, (I really have no way of knowing if it was even legitimate to begin with.) So when they did discover it they immediately had to put it on my credit even though I told them I would pay it ... maddening. I asked for Dr. Ravon's personal email so I could tell him about this situation and was given the wrong email as I'm sure the staff doesn't want him to know of their incompetence. In the month since my visit to Dr. Ravon, I have not heard a peep from his staff even though I have sent have a dozen emails regarding this, maddening. The other huge problem I had with his staff is that when I was in the dentist's chair two of his assistants were in the room with me. Even though they obviously both spoke English, they took it upon themselves to speak Spanish in front of me instead of English. This is a major major no-no. I'm self taught in Spanish so I'm not a Spanish phobe. But I think you see my point. Something like this should never ever happen. Bottom line: there are many good dentists out there, you might as well get one whose incompetent, and to boot rude, staff isn't going to screw up your credit over a lousy one hundred dollars. read more

Although Lisa B has said she has been going to this office for 14 years on 9/3/11, I want to tell Yelpers that this office has a new dentist. I've been going to this office for 12 years, and I had Dr. Cary Schwartz, who retired about 2 years ago. I loved that guy. I miss him and the way he conducts business and treats his patients. The practice has new office management and policies and it has been a headache to me. What Steve S said about the office having strange billing practice is true from my experience. Dr. Schwartz's office always took care of billing on my behalf to the insurance company in a timely manner. The current office, under Dr. Ravon's care, is the worst billing experience I've had at a dental office. I had to pay $250 out of pocket for my first visit with Dr. Ravon, which I never had to do with Dr. Schwartz. The problem is that they got paid from my insurance company first and had not reimbursed me directly for 8 months. I called four times and had to write a letter to ask them to reimburse me. When I spoke to an office administrator, she kept telling me the reimbursement checks get cut from a guy in NY and that's what was taking so long. It takes 8 months to write a check from NY and send it to LA? Total crap. Yelpers beware. read more

Amazing, caring, professional. I had a great fear of going to the dentist, and as a result my teeth were in horrible shape. I had a huge amount of work done, and it's ongoing, but through it all Dr. Ravon and his staff are the only reason I was able to take the first step and keep up the work to get my teeth and mouth healthy. I was literally in tears the first visit, and hearing them say that they could help me was such a relief. For reference- I had eight teeth (four wisdom) removed and a number of root canals.
