I first went to Dr. Sam Saleh in 2022 for porcelain veneers, and I was extremely happy with both the experience and my smile. Last month, I brought my 17-year-old daughter to Dr. Saleh because she was missing four teeth and still had concerns about her smile even after completing braces. From the very beginning, Dr. Saleh took the time to truly listen to her concerns and made sure she felt comfortable and involved in the process. What really stood out was the level of care and attention to detail, he created different design previews showing how her smile would look with just the four implants, as well as an option with ten front teeth. This helped us make the best decision for a natural and beautiful result. Even more impressive, he was able to complete everything in just four appointments. My daughter and I are beyond happy with the results. Dr. Saleh is also incredibly accommodating and always open to making adjustments, even after the work is completed. This is the worst experience I have ever had at any dental office. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your thoughts, your time, your money, and especially your dental health to this office. There is nothing special here, they spend their time creating Instagram videos to lure people in. But the doctor doesn't actually do the work, he is the salesperson, once Sam Saleh sells you and takes payment, then the damage starts. Two other dentists you never heard of or were introduced to actually come in and do the work. You never see "the salesman" except for a few quick looks and then gone again. Now, lets talk about their actual work. I came in for 3 crowns and 1 veneer. The 4 front teeth (7-10) I have had work on this area from a few different dentists as it was from an accident as a child, I am 47 now and have seen many dentists over the years. I came here like most, sold by the internet marketing and all the AI videos showing the final results of their "supposed" work. Some other dentist came in and started prepping me, I never met her or was told someone else would actually do the work. She was very nice, like all of them, nice at first. They made the temporaries, those looked great, so I had high hopes that driving from Newport Beach to Beverly Hills was worth it. Was I wrong, when I went back 3 weeks later for the final work, it was completely messed up. Nothing like the temporaries or anything we talked about. All their "in house" dental lab did, was scan the old work I had and copy and print the exact same work. But they looked worse than what I had. I got to see the actual doctor again, Sam, and he also was not happy with the work. So, now once again back in temporaries. Each time you have to visit this office, it is a 10 hour day, 3 hours to drive in traffic there nd back, Beverly Hills is not an easy area to get to at any time of the day, plus pay to park. And I know a lot of people are flying in, save your money and your future negative thoughts. Your local dentist has better capabilities than this office, a real dental lab who works with many offices does a much better job than any in house lab can do and I had to learn the hard way. Back in my temporaries. The work was to be completed before I left on vacation for 2 months, which I could not change due to the dental office errors. I had to sit in temporaries for those 2 months and when I got back, they made me wait another month to get back into the office for the finals. Now that they were paid in full. When I got back in Sept 2025, I went to the office, another dentist came in to cement the finals, first Dr. Saleh put vaseline in with the finals to see if they looked ok to me, he took me outside to see and from there they looked ok, it was hard to tell since vaseline was all over the gum area, but at this point, I wanted something final in and I said ok to putting them in. At the end, your gums are so tight from all the numbing, you can't really tell if the work is done correctly. After leaving, I noticed one tooth was longer than the other. When I went to my regular dentist for a cleaning and that office wanted to see their final work, immediately my dentist said, no, no, I can see right when you walked in that the colors don't match each other, you look like you have a gap and one front tooth is longer than the other. Then he looked inside my mouth, and that's when they discovered the open margin. I originally thought it was leftover cement. Dr. Sam Saleh's other dentist didn't seal the crown properly and most likely both that dentist and Dr. Saleh saw this open margin and just ignored it, hoping a year would pass and they wouldn't be liable anymore. I confronted them about the open margin with a second opinion from a prosthetic dentist. He noted the 1mm open margin, said it was sub standard according to what he saw and what the Dental Board would agree with. I asked for a refund of $3500, this is what I paid per tooth. Dr. Sam Saleh did offer to give me the refund, but they wanted me to sign away their liability to all the dental work and I could not write any disparaging reviews. $3500 per tooth I paid, and that was after they negotiated from $4500 per tooth. Just go to your local dentist, stay in your area, if it is not done to your satisfaction, you will need to go back and forth at your cost. read more

I visited the office yesterday to have a consultation to have some work done, and I was very comfortable with the office staff as well as the overall environment of the office. They were extremely organized, which is very impressive considering most dentist offices are not. Poroshat which I believe is the office manager was able to answer all my questions regarding the billing and referrals. Doctor Saleh was able to answer all my questions and made me feel confident of the work he is going to do for me to improve my smile. They took a 3D scan of my entire mouth and checked all my teeth even the ones they are not working on. They also have their own dedicated lab in the office so they are able to supervise the crowns throughout the entire process. They also take a bunch of pictures to see your smile from all different angles to make sure that when they reconstruct your smile, it looks perfect, which no other dentist that I went to did. I went to Dr. Saleh with high expectations based on his work on many notable people and their testimonials on INSTAGRAM. I chose to go to Dr. Saleh because I believed I would receive the same quality treatment. But unfortunately, my experience has been nothing less than a nightmare. I have been in constant pain and discomfort ever since the day I got the veneers, getting back-to-back infections and needing root canal one after the other. I never had any of these issues prior and I was also checked before getting the veneers. I addressed my concerns repeatedly to Dr. Saleh but was again and again dismissed. I had to get 3 root canals after getting the veneers. Despite completing the root canal treatments, the prescribed antibiotic course, and the adjustments that another local dentist in New York had to make upon Dr. Saleh's request, the issues and discomfort did not resolve. It is no longer about aesthetics, but the functionality of my overall bite that's been compromised. Initially I was told to give it more time and the pain would subside as the gums healed but months went by, and the pain only got worse. That's when I decided to go see another reputable aesthetic dentist in New York for a second opinion and this is what he had to say, "The multitude of open clinical margins outlined above, the multitude of root canals since her relatively recent treatment, and the grade 3 mobility/ malocclusion on her lower anterior veneers are of high concern to me. The patient has been in pain and discomfort since the time of her veneer placement with her previous provider and the patient is in clear distress. It is in my very strong opinion, whether with myself, another provider, or with the provider that restored her veneers initially - that this patient needs to have her veneers re-done. The state of her open margins leaves her at very high risk for leakage, decay, and potential risk for more root canals. The state of her occlusion has left her with severe grade 3 mobility on #23-26 and the long-term prognosis of these teeth are questionable. My suggested course of treatment is to remove her current restorations and to replace them with properly sealed margins, and for her occlusion to be re-calibrated to alleviate the traumatic forces on her anterior dentition". I sent the detailed report to Dr. Saleh and was responded with the following message, "Dentistry is not an exact science, there is no guarantee for anticipated or desired results, there is always an inherent risk for further treatment, and there is no promise for the longevity of this treatment, as explained in our consent forms and signed by you prior to the procedure performed. I have attached these agreements below for your review, which you had freely signed and agreed to. We are formally terminating our patient-doctor relationship as you have seeked an alternative provider to address your dental needs and concerns. If you have any further demands, this will be forwarded to our legal team". I am left with no other choice but to suffer and continue to be in pain every day and it's okay for Dr. Saleh because I signed the consent and dentistry is not an exact science!! I wish I never went to Dr. Saleh. Every single day I regret my decision. There is so much more to mention but I am so traumatized by the whole experience and feel drained mentally, emotionally, and financially. read more

TL;DR: Biggest regret of my life! Like others have noted, this doctor is shady, lied to my face about my veneers being "minimally invasive," performed a gum lift surgery without discussing it w/me first - resulting in extra long, horse teeth, did what HE wanted for my mouth and the complete opposite of what I asked for, and refused to make any adjustments from my temporaries to final veneers. Don't be lured in by all the pretty Instagram photos & videos - they're all misleading to those uninformed about what really goes on there. I was a traveling patient. During my consult, Dr. Saleh assured me that my teeth wouldn't be ground down to little stumps. He said his process is minimally invasive, removing as little tooth structure as possible. This was a complete lie. I ended up with the tiniest little pegs for teeth. I almost passed out when he was done grinding them down and I felt the huge air gaps with my tongue in between my teeth. I couldn't look in the mirror because I thought I might pass out if I actually saw them. Dr. Saleh left me sitting in the chair for about 15 min after the grinding session to go do something else, and I was laying there lightheaded as I kept running my tongue around what was left of the little stumps. When he finally returned, I commented to him that it felt like a lot of my teeth had been ground down. He said my tongue was gravitating to the spaces and making them feel larger than they were - a total lie. But first let me back up. When I arrived for my temp appt, he very loosely put them on and then brought me to another room in his office, near a window so they would appear whiter & brighter, and took pictures and filmed me wearing them, commenting in his video how amazing they looked. There's a reason he does the pics & videos BEFORE doing any actual work on your teeth - your mouth is a hot bloody mess after he grinds your teeth down to little pegs and contours your gums! So misleading! After the pictures & video, he brought me back to my treatment room, took off the loose temps, and prepared me to have my gums contoured (ie lasered off really high). He had NEVER discussed this with me during my consult. I immediately started expressing concern and fear, as I was fine with my gums and didn't want them lasered higher. I should have walked out at this point and that is my hugest regret, not following my own gut and intuition right then. I had flown down there that morning and at that point, I couldn't see walking out after spending hours traveling and not getting my veneers because I didn't agree to a gum lift. His assistant said almost everyone gets it, so I reluctantly agreed. I had 8 veneers put on across my top teeth (thank God I didn't do more!). When the temporaries were finally glued on, they were really long and horse-like. The assistant assured me they were the same length as my original teeth - this is not true. Dr. Saleh showed me my original mold, and my new veneer mold, and they were completely different in size- much longer. I was so upset with my long temporaries that I scheduled a Skype call w/Dr. Saleh after I returned home to tell him what I didn't like - this was Supposed to be part of the temporary process - "to try them on for size and make adjustments if necessary." Dr. Saleh refused to make ANY adjustments to my teeth. In fact, he seemed personally insulted that I dared to criticize his work. His ego was massive. My final veneers were exactly the same as my temporaries. I had showed him pictures of teeth I liked during my consult that were small and cute, and he gave me the *exact opposite* of what I asked for. I later went to another high end cosmetic dentist, after my finals were put on, to have adjustments made that Dr. Saleh refused to do. I had to pay another $2400, on top of the $20K I had already paid Dr. Saleh, to get them shortened. They measured my veneers, and my front two teeth were 12mm long. That dentist said the average length of front teeth is 9-10mm, & that 12mm is extra long. 2-3mm might not sound like much, but when you're talking about a small area of size like a tooth, it makes a huge difference. My canines were a whopping 16mm!, and scraping my bottom teeth when I ate or even talked! The adjustments helped, but my gum line is still way too high, and I am now self-conscious about smiling too big where my long teeth show. I was told I would have to take all my veneers off, have extensive gum grafting, and put new veneers back on to fix the problem. I am not emotionally or physically ready to go through the tortuous veneer process all over again, plus gum grafting. This was the worst mistake of my life and if I could do anything to not get veneers from Dr. Saleh, I would. Please don't make the same mistake I did. PS - I recently discovered that by using my phone flashlight to look inside my mouth, my veneers became see-thru & I could finally see the super tiny pegs left of my real teeth. For starters, when I originally reached out, I received a very prompt, thorough, and kind email from Monica. During my call with Dr. Saleh, he quickly but thoroughly looked over what I might need done and gave me a detailed description of what he suggested, and most importantly, why he felt that was best. Upon deciding to move forward, Monica (as well as Poroshat), were incredible with their correspondence. I really appreciate good customer service, especially when so many details are involved, and to not have to wonder and guess what appointment was what, how long each was going to take, etc. was so so helpful. At my in person consultation, after thoroughly doing scans, photos, etc, I expressed some minor fears (this is my face after all) and Dr. Saleh addressed those fears, but more importantly, assured me that he is an "egoless doctor" and that we would make sure I was happy in the end. Feeling HEARD, especially with a procedure as big as this, really gave me the confidence to know that I was in good hands and that I didn't have to stress or worry about the final outcome. As we come close to the end of the year, I am reflecting on the blessings I have received in the past year and Doctor Saleh is what comes to my mind. Two years ago, I was fortunate to come across Dr. Saleh's page on Instagram and found his work amazing. I have spend most of my life in dentist's offices. The amount of money I spent and the pain I went through each time and not getting good result was frustrating and had left me hopeless. Until I came across Dr. Saleh's page two years ago and went to him to have my entire upper teeth done. The result was outstanding and my bite got fixed. I moved out of California over a year ago, started having problem with my lower front teeth a couple of months ago. I could not allow anyone else to touch my teeth, so I traveled to California and had Dr. Saleh replace the veneers of my front lower teeth. I continue on getting compliments on my teeth. Everyone in the office is professional, super friendly and kind. I have loved and greatly appreciated having Poroshat and Monica helping me with scheduling and answering any questions I may have. I went to Ora Dentistry for the first time in September 2018 for a cleaning and a consultation for veneers. My cleaning with Tiffany was great and I'm very particular about dental hygienists since I am a retired RDH myself. She was thorough yet gentle and also very fun to talk to. Next up was my consult with Dr. Saleh. Full disclosure - I already knew I wanted him to do my veneers after looking at countless before-and-after pictures from different "top cosmetic dentists" in the LA area. I am very picky - often called a perfectionist - and I've worked in the dental field. No one else's after photos even came close to Dr. Saleh's. His veneers are the most beautiful and natural looking I have ever seen. He truly is an artist with an eye for beauty and detail that many dentists (even cosmetic ones) lack. He doesn't just look at your teeth or your mouth, but takes your entire face into consideration when designing the veneers. My consult was pleasant. Dr. Saleh quickly pointed out exactly what I didn't like about my smile. I always felt my teeth were too small for my face and I also wanted a brighter smile which was hard to achieve due to my sensitivity to whitening products. He walked me through the process and answered all of my questions. He even talked me out of doing 12 veneers because only 10 would be visible when I smiled and I greatly appreciate that. He could have easily made another $5k off of me but instead was honest and practical. I took impressions that day and also put down my deposit. Two weeks later I came in to have my temporaries delivered. This appointment was very quick and pretty much painless. Since my teeth were very small, I qualified for "no prep" veneers. (This is not the case for everyone, it depends on your natural tooth structure). I went to lunch and shopping right after and no pain meds were needed, but again this might not be the case for others. To be honest I didn't love the way my temporaries looked or felt and I communicated this at my 1 week check in. The temps are opaque and less natural looking than the final veneers, but I liked the general shape and color and I knew that the finals would look better. It also took a week or two to get fully used to chewing with them but they weren't uncomfortable, just a bit strange feeling. Dr. Saleh reassured me that I'd be much happier with the finals and he was correct. The week before Thanksgiving, I went in for final delivery. This was a much longer appointment (~3 hours) and a bit uncomfortable at times but so worth it! A few hours of gum soreness in order to have my dream smile is a small price to pay IMO. My teeth look amazing now and I couldn't be happier. I get compliments on my teeth from random strangers on the street and that had NEVER happened before. My best friend even decided to get veneers from Dr. Saleh after seeing mine and she's already in love with her temporaries. I will continue to go to Ora Dentistry for my regular cleanings and I may even do lower veneers in the future. I highly recommend not only Dr. Saleh but the entire team. Lauren and Dee specifically were a huge help and extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. This place is awesome. The staff was super friendly and the place is welcoming. It's very clean and neat and I really felt like I was a true guest. The doctor himself was very thorough, informative and really took his time in not only servicing my visit but also educating me on what I needed to do to improve my smile. We have had the best experience here! I know Ora Dentistry Spa can do all the cosmetic stuff but what we were looking for was an up-front, honest, and realistic plan to get cleanings and a long term plan to fix some bigger issues. I have been going to Dr. Saleh for years now. My husband has had terrifying experiences with dentists in the past so I couldn't get him to go anywhere. Not only was he terrified of the the experience but he would get so frustrated with how much work the dentists would tell him he needed and how much it would cost. I explained his hesitancy to Nadia at the front desk before his appointment and she assured me they would be gentle. They were great! They came up with a treatment plan that was clearly explained and we are taking care of issues one at a time as time and money permits. We love it here! Everyone is very nice, almost no waiting and we always know what we can expect in regard to payment. I recommend Ora Dentistry Spa to everyone! read more

He's patient, professional and considerate. Not only does he look out for your dental health but also your pocket book. Dr. Saleh consistently proves to be a dentist who recommends what he would want for himself; which is all one can ask from a health care provider. Also, his staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They explained every step they took before taking it, ensuring I was informed and comfortable. I had a harrowing experience with this dentist. Without going into too much detail, in hopes of correcting damage from a childhood accident they rushed me into a procedure without proper prep or explanation of what exactly it entailed. Was told it would be "minimally invasive" when it was anything but. Was also very clear about what I wanted to achieve aesthetically and yet they did the exact opposite of what I'd asked for. Was in extreme pain for two weeks. More, I experienced a 100% failure on my dental work within the first two years -- several during important dinners -- which is unheard of and was incredibly stressful, not to mention embarrassing. Never got a proper apology. It was always my fault for eating, sleeping, whatever. They eventually offered to redo the work, but why on earth would I let these people touch my teeth again when they proved incapable of doing what I asked and botched it the first time? Don't be fooled by the slick marketing and Hollywood pretention. There are much better cosmetic dentists in Beverly Hills. Find them. UPDATE: In response to their absurd comments... I wish I had never been a patient here as I would have saved $20K. I do not use my real name on Yelp to protect my privacy... and what I was told would be done in my 1-hour "consult" most certainly was not. I asked to see a previz prior to install and was denied this. They were supposed to recreate my original smile as if there had been no damage and instead gave me horrifying horse teeth (as they did another celebrity who was widely mocked in the press and had to have their work redone... also by my new dentist, lol). I'd told them that the finals didn't look right and I wanted them redone, but was refused this and assured it would be fixed after install. I thought it was just a review and they said no, we're doing it right now. I tried to put off the procedure and was pressured into doing it right then and there, without any mental preparation whatsoever. I should have walked out. I'll spare you the gruesome details of the procedure itself, the horror of which was only eclipsed by what I saw in the mirror. I was in tears. After demanding that they grind nearly two millimeters off the bottom edge they were still significantly longer than my original teeth. It was a nightmare. More, several leading cosmetic dentists have evaluated the work done by this office in order to correct it... I was told that not only were the materials used not to the best standard, but they had removed significantly more material than was required. The opposite of what I was assured many, many times. I was specifically concerned about this and was basically lied to. One dentist even said that it was the most tooth structure they had ever seen removed for this procedure and no wonder there were multiple failures... there was nothing to hold on to. Again, they are very polished and awesome at making you feel like you're getting premium service what with their Reality TV endorsements and Rodeo Drive address. My experience proves otherwise. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. HE'S SUPER SHADY. SEE BELOW... I recently got new insurance coverage from my job and therefore had to look for a new dentist. I randomly picked one off of the list provided to me by my insurance and happened to pick Ora Dentistry. After I picked them I looked up their website and was very impressed. Their website explained how their office is really more of a spa and how it is so relaxing, etc. Their speciality is cosmetic dentistry and Dr. Saleh also happens to be Tyra Banks' dentist and is often featured on her show. Needless to say, I had never been so excited to go to the dentist before. On my first visit they did a very thorough exam and took a ton of x-rays, which I thought was quite impressive and thorough. Then Dr. Saleh explained to me how I had 8 cavities and reccommended that I get something called irrigation. I thought it was strange that I would have 8 cavities all of a sudden since I regularly go to the dentist and less than 6 months earlier at my previous dentist, they did not detect any problems (and always tell me what beautiful teeth I have). I've rarely had cavities throughout my whole life. During this visit, my teeth didn't even get cleaned and I was given an estimate for all the work that was "needed" upwards of about $1300 that would not be covered by my insurance. Since I couldn't afford all of the procedures reccommended and was very skeptical if I even needed it, I cancelled the appointment (which I was pressured into scheduling right away). A few months passed and I had still not even had my teeth cleaned and I was a bit intimidated to call Ora again because I thought they would pressure me into scheduling all of the procedures again. Finally, I figured this was ridiculous and I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning, and nothing else. Well this morning when I went to my appointment at 9 a.m. sharp Dr. Saleh kept me waiting for over half an hour, only to find out that his office refuses to do a regular cleaning unless I agree to the elective irrigation procedure, which my insurance does not cover. In my opinion it seems that Dr. Saleh pressures his new patients into procedures that are not necessary, including cosmetic procedures, since that is what he specializes in. I also find it totally unacceptable that he will not allow regular cleaning unless you agree to his expensive treatments which are not covered by insurance. I think this office is extremely shady and I would not refer my worst enemy to this doctor. Don't get distracted by all the bells and whistles. They have a gorgeous office (which they show off to you on your first visit by unneccesssarily parading you throughout the whole floor to get to your examination room), Dr. Saleh is a very attractive man, and he has had a ton of exposure on the Tyra Banks show. Warning: I would not take my dog to this dental office. His office is extremely clean and nice as far as appearance but that is all that impressed me about my visit. The Dr. is super arrogant and unprofessional. He did not take the time to listen to my needs or concerns and would cut me off to tell me that he is running behind on time. Long story short I went home from a procedure with him only to have excruciating pain which turned into an infection in the next few days which I was in bed with a fever due to his faulty practice. Dr. Saleh's prices are outrageous for the service he provides but I guess with an expensive address in Beverly Hills he has a lot of expenses in which the patients need to pay for.
