The coaches are amazing and know what they're doing, the correct the form of each exercise we're doing to avoid unnecessary injuries, they push you to your limit in a healthy/safe way, which is great! After taking many months to think about this situation, I'm pretty darn disappointed and unimpressed. The people who were at the gym in class with me were wonderful, I did really enjoy them. The 6 week challenge that I did was completely misleading and at the time, was the only way to gain membership into the gym. Either you gain/ lose a certain amount of fat/ muscle, or you lose x amount of weight. I weigh 115lbs and am only 5'2. In addition, I'm pretty stocky and have always been athletic. I joined because I wanted to get back into the shape I used to be in. It was unrealistic that I would lose the amount of fat they wanted me to in 6 weeks. It was actually pretty unhealthy that they expected me to lose what they wanted me to. Before photos were never taken and I was supposed to receive a measurement update halfway through that I never got. Additionally, there was no accountability. When you'd sign up, they said that you have 24/7 accountability, but my "accountability coach" rarely reached out and was not timely. Right before my 2 week mark, I had substantial personal matters that occurred and there was no sympathy or support in any way. It was all business and money to them. I showed up to all the classes I was supposed to, followed the health guide for the most part, was working out outside of the classes, and still was just outside of the goal, causing me to lose $600. 10/10 would not recommend. I go to VASA Fitness now and I love it, plus they have many locations. Fitness is about a lifestyle and needs to be SUSTAINABLE. What I went through here did not set me up for that. read more

These people absolutely are bait and switch con artists. When my wife came home and told me the contract they baited her into signing she called and they assured us that's not what happened and we could get out of the contract and my card wouldn't be charged. Well they charged us 139 dollars for the "meal plan" for my wife going in the one time after being told it was six weeks of free group training for a small group. Don't step foot in this gym unless you like getting fleeced. read more

I cannot say enough about RAW Fitness! From the coaches that are there for you on every step of your health and wellness journey to the other members that are there to support and cheer you on along the way! From being incredibly active through my teens and early adult hood - to becoming a couch potato - I didn't know where to start to get back to healthy! RAW has given me the platform for just that! And showing me that I can do more than I ever thought possible. And where else do you have the owner of gym stay back and walk you through a Spartan Race rather than going ahead and getting an amazing time for themselves??? Did a class here, it was as nonsensical and scattered as a shitty Crossfit workout could be. The coaching was non-existent. Also, the trainer Claire will not remove me from her email list no matter how many times I unsubscribe (illegal?) There are plenty of great gyms in the area. Avoid this gym at all costs. read more

When it comes to this business, I have several complaints. To start off, the gym gets you to join under the false pretense of claiming a six week program is free when in fact it is only free if you reach your set goals ( then you get the money back towards a gym membership so never a direct refund) This fact is not relayed to customers and credit cards are charged without notice. Furthermore, the woman who owns and runs this gym is anything but professional. When myself and several other friends chose to leave her gym we were harassed both on social media and via text message by the owner Claire Pearson and her associates. It has been many months since we all have parted ways and still I go on Facebook and see the owner harassing me for talking about new gyms as well as trainers calling and texting me saying horrible things about me. RAW is anything but a supportive environment and is all about drama and scamming people out of money. Don't be fooled there are SO many options for great gyms in the area. read more

I LOVE this gym!!! As a recent student-athlete graduate I was struggling to find a new workout routine. I have always loved working out but I am so used to working out in a team environment that I found myself being less excited to workout by myself. I signed up for the 6 week challenge since I hadn't worked out in months and I am so happy I did! Raw gave me that team environment I had missed so much and instructors that help push you in a positive and fun way. By the end of my first week other members in my classes and the instructors knew my name and something about me. It feels good to workout in a place where everyone wants to be pushing themselves to their limit no matter what their starting point is. read more

6 free week challenge (or the 42 day challenge) is misleading. That's the only reason why this review is low. A coach tells you to come in ready & asks you your shirt size. They text you about getting you in shape in 6 weeks. When you get there they offer 2 price packages. 50$ weekly or 599$ for 6 weeks unlimited workout days. (If you lose 20 pounds or a % or body fat, you get the 599$ back towards your membership at the gym & from my research pricing starts at around 150$ monthly so that's not toooo bad) I did CrossFit for 2 years & went to several gyms- mainly CF Salvo in Brighton & CF Roots in Boulder. (Plus several others I've tried out while traveling) Never paid more than 120$ for a monthly membership. INCLUDING accountability. I think the communal atmosphere is a great motivator & group fitness works for a lot people including me. From my experience, you can lose weight just as efficient if not more without spending 50$-100$ PER week. I mean hey if you have the money to drop on this go for it but you can get more for your buck elsewhere for sure. (Those who see this & want to bring up the cost of nutrition & accountability, first off accountability is only a coach texting you constantly checking in. & nutrition can be done a lot cheaper) NOT TO SAY THIS DOESNT WORK AT HELPING PEOPLE LOSE WEIGHT, but they definitely do a bait & switch marketing tactic. & 599 for 6 weeks is ABSURD!!!!!!!!! another woman who went in the same as me was also confused because she also thought it was free. (Side note. A regular gym membership costs 25-65$ monthly) & many have daily group fitness classes @ no extra cost. Check out lifetime fitness. (Great option) read more

Great vibes, trainers are professional and very creative and the classes are tough and fun. I reluctantly signed up for a 6 week challenge I saw on Facebook where the goal is to lose 25lbs or 6% body fat. I started the challenge weighing 225lbs and 29.9% body fat and was hitting the gym maybe once a week and doing a fun recreational activity once a week before working out at Raw. I just completed the 6 week challenge and now weigh 208lbs and I'm at 22.6 % body fat - not bad right?! I feel so much better with 17lbs off and down 7.3% body fat. What I'm happiest about is that my mental outlook has changed and now I want to eat healthy, workout consistently and drink less alcohol. For me, I would not be able to make this change on my own - it was obvious because I'm 44 and I was just doing the same old thing week after week. I needed and will continue to need someone to push me. Claire and Hailey are the trainers I primarily train with and they have kicked my butt into shape and they both will inspire you to be your best if you let them into your world. I'm a member at this training center now and I highly recommend it! This is coming from someone who was super reluctant to get involved with any cross-fit style class structured gym. The programs offered at Raw Fitness proved to be successful with my personal results on paper but I cannot put monetary value on the mental shift that I was looking for and found here in order for me to choose to live healthy. read more

I completed the six week challenge and lost over 5% body fat. This gym is really like no other gym I've been to. The trainers are incredibly motivating and really tailor each exercise to the abilities of each individual. As someone who had never even lifted a barbell, I finished the six weeks feeling confident and strong. You'll be amazed by what they can help you accomplish and completely change your outlook on diet and exercise.
