A quote from him we repeated often in the days leading up to the wedding, "If love is in the room, nothing else matters." We submitted a request through the website, and he got in touch quickly. We had a wonderful conversation, which gave us complete confidence to enter into a contract with him. Before our special day, we had a virtual meeting to go over the shot list, and he asked all kinds of great questions. On the day of our wedding, he was early, and ready for us when we were. He is great at communicating with you, keeping it light, and getting great expressions. He worked wonderfully with the caterers to prepare the scenes inside the venue. He was always kind and professional. Working through the shot list, he learned everyone's names, and kept the posing and taking of photos fun and relaxed. We received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful Mike was. Then we got our photos! At first he would text us teasers, and they were all amazing. Then before too long, we received a link to our own website with all of the photos, and then received a USB drive with all of our shots. We're very excited to receive prints. First the basics - we looked at a few other photographers and we did not find anyone that compares on cost. It wasn't even close. So it was affordable to work with Andrew, but also very smooth. We had booked Dennis to photograph our wedding, but about a month later decided to relocate our festivities to Hawaii. The biggest mistake I made in my wedding planning was not paying for airfare and hotel to bring him with us to Hawaii. Dennis was very generous and fair about our deposit and we worked out a deal that involved him taking us on an engagement photo shoot. I now consider these my wedding photos, since they are absolutely incredible and my actual wedding photos don't come anywhere close, at least in terms of photography. In actuality, it was a FRIGID day in May when we took our engagement photos, I was looking a little chubby, my husband was looking a little worn down, and the both of us are incredibly awkward and self-conscious in front of the camera. And yet, in the photos we got back, everything is magical and perfect. We made the photos into a guest book, and also into a thank-you card for our guests. We've gotten rave reviews. Our daughter got married in Chicago and we live in Florida so it was very complicated to find somebody that we would like. We couldn't really rely on recommendations because we didn't know anybody there. Also to be perfectly honest we didn't want to spend more than $3000 on the photography. Being that the wedding was in downtown Chicago, everybody that I talk to before finding Robert was very stuck up and very very pricey. When I looked at Roberts work on his website I was absolutely amazed by the pictures that he would take. They were not traditional wedding pictures where you have everybody just lined up, they were pictures of the moments, pictures of the things that were actually happening. Just by looking at those pictures you could imagine what was going on at those weddings. His photographs tell a story and capture the most natural shots possible. For us, this was very important. Robert was very courteous and was able to cover the day without being obtrusive while at the same time being in the right place at the right time. We had many compliments about him from our guests. When I was hiring Robert I wanted to hire two photographers for my daughter's wedding every single moment would be captured. He tried to assured me that I would not need two photographers because of the size of her wedding. We had 80 people. I was still skeptical but he did say that he would have his assistant with him so I decide to go I and just hire him. Well, he was right! He was able to cover everything! Bride's preparations, groom's preparation, me being stressed out :), maid of honor helping, bride drinking a glass of champagne.... Everything that you want to remember from your wedding. All the candid shots, people dancing, drinking, eating... Everything! Most importantly my daughter is little shy and does not like taking pictures, so the way that Robert did this was just amazing.
