Was having a issue with my tire. The guy literally hand us a tire and said go ask someone else to put it on for you. Mind you we were traveling and did not know the area. I called my store where I originally got the tire and they were very apologetic and as this company is nation wide you would think they would take care of all the customers the same way. It was very apparent that cause we didn't originally get our tires from there they would not help. Very very unprofessional for a national chain! If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Worst first experience with these people. After 6hours two sets of rims and tires put on I walked out without my sensors programmed (turned out they put ford sensors on my Chevy Silverado & that I went out of my way to find out idiots didn't even know how to find out) my truck wasn't even balanced, they kept the locks for my old rims, $800 later & they just replaced & programmed my sensors in Texas city only to find out they stripped my lug stud to my rear tire . Never ever doing business with these ignorant people. Very unprofessional. & getting a hold of customer service is extremely difficult. Oh and they tend to charge your card twice if your not careful or if you want to change your card , be prepared for them to screw up and charge the card you don't want charged! Very uneducated. read more

I had a mis happ over the weekend im a single mom i have had my rims and tires for 8 yrs but i couldnt afford to have so much money up front due to this unexpected incident. I ended up having to replace my tires and rims. I walked in explained my story and not long into it demi and couple of other guys made me feel understood. I was shaky and still worked up trying to show them my pictures of the damages & all i could think about is how im going to get to my jobs and get my kids back n forth im from new braunfels tx my first experience ever doing this i looked this & couple of other places online & what payments and offers they have for paying customers. Corpus doesnt have a lot of options like back home . At this point i have been offered a good once a month payment plan i can afford & i dont judge based of of any reviews i have to see for myself god bless u guys. read more

Horrible service. The employees are extremely rude. We had customer service issues over the phone and in the store. We ordered a set of rims and didn't hear anything for nearly a week, they claim the rims were misdelivered. Then they said they couldn't track them and didn't know where they were. Bought 2 sets from the Ayers location before they closed and never had any issues there. We got our money back after waiting in the store for near an hour and being ignored the whole time. Went to the kingsville store and got everything done in one day without any problems at all. Port location sucks. read more

In any event, I digress. Discount Tire has been my go-to place for many years for replacing and repairing my truck tires. They have always been available when I need them, have had exceptional customer service, and have great deals and warranty options. Being so close to the mass holiday exodus that happens every year at this time in Corpus, I was afraid I was not going to be taken care of properly and timely. That was not the case today! Wanting to make sure this new (used) car was safe I opted for both inspections. Within a couple hours I was sent a detailed list of things from their courtesy inspection that needed repair along with photos. And soon after received a phone call with the details and he was happy to help with any questions I had. My reasoning for a missing star was I asked for the details on the $159 inspection and was told everything looked great, but that could have been because the seller wiped it clean (?!). I'm just your typical women who knows nothing about cars and had no idea this was possible. I felt taken advantage of for not being told about this before I agreed to pay $159. On top of that, there was some kind of $12 fee I was not told about that brought my total to $172 after taxes. I really appreciate their kind customer service and their nice clean waiting room but I would still recommend anyone who has no clue about cars to ask around before spending money here.
