We actually have to pay for a membership to shop here? That is hard to understand given the overall shopping experience. The store is consistently overcrowded, even on weekdays, and the clothing sections rarely seem to be organized correctly. I placed a pickup order, only to find that nearly half of the items were out of stock, which suggests inventory management issues. The store itself often feels congested, with trash on the floors and little to no customer assistance available. Clothing racks and displays appear disorganized, making the shopping experience feel more like searching through a garage sale than browsing a retail store. For a membership-based shopping experience, I expected a cleaner, more organized environment and better inventory accuracy. Pick up is great. Order and pick it the same day! It saves a lot of time. There are some products that have to be delivered but most of the time the products are in stock. I would recommend the pick up services. read more

I applied for a job at Sam's, uploaded my resume which has my birthday on it. 3 days later I got an appointment for a job interview. Went to the interview just to be told 3 times that they only hire people from age 16 to 21... 3 times !! And they had to know my age, it was on my resume !! Sam's has good quality and value. People complain about service. Mediocre service is the new norm especially since COVID-19. I get my own cart, find my own stuff, self checkout, get my stuff to my vehicle and then put my cart where it goes and leave. And I'm old....once I accidentally overcharged myself and called when I got home, 25 miles away.....they looked up my reciept, checked the camera and refunded my money immediately. I just use this place for the pharmacy. The staff is real friendly. The pharmacist is really nice. If I have any questions he answers it. You don't need a membership card to go to the pharmacy. Just walk right on in and say I'm going to the pharmacy. read more

Our last visit to this place was uncomfortable. This place had a homeless man walking around inside by the food court acting erratic and making everyone uncomfortable with kids around. I just experienced horrible customer service from the employee "Diana" at the customer service counter. I purchased a food saver system on 10/22 for $149.99. Today, I go back to do further shopping and pick up some food saver rolls (bags) and I notice that the system I just purchased two days ago is now on sale for $119.99. I have my receipt so we go up to the customer service counter to get a refund for the price difference. After waiting fifteen min or so, Diana informs us that in order to get the $30 difference refunded, we must go back, buy another food saver, then bring it back up to return it with our old receipt. Seriously. My husband makes it clear that this is what she expects us to do, and she says "It's the new manager's policy and he/she isn't here today." So unhappily we jump through the hoops. Purchase another unit for $119.99 then take it back to customer service, wait for another fifteen minutes or so, and return it with our old receipt. Diana acted like she had never seen us within the past 20 minutes, and she even asked us what was wrong with the unit. In the process, I decided that I didn't need to purchase any additional items, and I put them all back. We will be going back to speak with the manager soon, and possibly cancel our business membership. Poor customer service. I've been a member for twelve years and this is a first. read more

Why do they only have one worker working the cafe? there is ALWAYS a line at this location and there is only 1 worker at the register. And it's not like they don't have more registers, they do, they just don't use it, ever. It's ridiculous and to have them not even hustle with one register open. This is why costco is better and only reason i come here is because there isn't a costco here lol. This is the second time I have been in to get a membership card and they have been out. Went to get 20x30x1 4xpack air filters, the worng size was on the shelf so I called the service desk from Isle 4 explaining the situation. Service member said that there were 100 in stock and that they would send someone over. After waiting 30 mins I flanged down an employee, that employee scanned the item varied where the they were but but had to call a fork lift operator over to get them down. Waited another 30 mins with no activity, this is the only thing I cam in to get so after dealing with this for over an hour I left. As soon as Costco comes to town I will not be renewing my sam's memebership. read more

We went for curbside yesterday & waited 20 minutes for them to bring our order out. I placed the order, selected the time & didn't go to pick up my order until I received the text that it was ready. As soon as I parked, I used my app to tell them we were there & what space. There were so many cars parked in the spaces with no one inside the car, it was annoying. I had to park down in space 13. I have no idea how long we would have waited if I hadn't called into the store after sitting there for over 15 minutes. I watched people park, go in & come back out while we waited. Then, she said there was a young man that she will wait on first, however he wasn't around when opened. At 10am she took a call. There was a line of people then bout 10:15 she got off phone. I spoke to one of there employees and she said the ladies is just as bad . I work here at sams and by reading the reviews, I see that most people have something to say about the long waits (which is clearly not the workers fault since it's the only sams here) and also the "attitudes" that the associates have. First I have to say that working 8+ hours in tense work environments don't usually create a happy work place for us and most of the people who shop here feel entitled and mostly always have disgusting attitudes when they don't get something their way. Next time anyone has a bad review to write, just remember that these workers have do deal with rude customers and judging by the cafe, mostly dirty customers who don't know how to clean after themselves. For being one of the top 5 volume of sales store in the nation, they do an amazing job on keeping everything stocked as best they can, the staff is friendly as they can be on some of the most busiest days. There are lines, however they tend to move quickly especially as they are offering new features like Scan and Go, where you can just scan your items with the app and all they have to do is scan your receipt from your phone and you're out! They do seem to be understaffed at some times however they always seem to make the club look clean, neat, and straight! This is one of the better sams club locations I've been to. read more

I'm not one to write a negative review based solely on one aspect of my visit to a business - but Sam's deserves it today. I went it around 1:00 to make a payment. No shopping just a payment. Heaven forbid I entered into the store through the exit door, with my payment in hand, and braces on both feet from an injury. The extremely RUDE LADY checking people's baskets as they exited screamed at me TWICE that I needed to go back out the door I came in and go in through the entrance- the long-way around......down to the checkout area and back up...... to get to customer service. Way out of line lady. I ignored her, and her attitude and made my payment. If for security reasons she was actually doing her job, then fine. But don't EVER raise your voice to a customer like that, especially to one that needed to save every step possible. read more

Worst check out people I have witnessed in a long time, especially when they let people buy all this food with their food stamps and then check out a second time to pay with cash for all their beer. The lady I encountered had no idea how to use the pin machine or a chip carder reader and the time I went before it was the same situation with people using coupons, overriding manager codes, asking for help, etc. I did not realize it until today Sams Club has officially become ghetto, and the new Walmart. Sam's has never disappointed us over the last several years. I do miss the old location. I think it was bigger but the new one is in a more convenient location. I had a bad experience with the guy that was preparing the roasted chickens in the meat department. There weren't any available so I asked the "very serious" employee behind the counter how long it would be before he would have some ready for pick up. He said, 5 minutes. No problem, returned 10 minutes later. Nothing doing. He was taking his time getting the two dozen or so tasty looking birds into the plastic containers. No dialogue for several minutes. A lady had been waiting longer than me and remained patient just like I did. Dude if you are not happy doing your job go back to school or find a different job. Most of Sam's workers are friendly and accommodating. Not the " Bird Man". He couldn't stop for a couple of minutes to wrap 4 roasted chickens, one for me three for the sweet lady. We finally got what we wanted, but "it's was like pulling teeth". So many people just don't get it. The customer comes first. If you don't have the people skills, work the night shift and do some stocking. Don't act like your job is so important that you can't stop and take care of your customers. Sam's Club has a lot of good stuff in bulk at a decent price. The self checkout is pretty convenient. There are some of the most rude and ghetto people shopping there literally standing in the middle of the isles not giving a crap about the customers around them, but that is not Sam's Club's fault, so I won't give them a bad review for it. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because when you're in line waiting to leave, there will be more rude, ghetto customers cutting people off in line and the staff doesn't do anything about it. The curbside option is a joke with usually long waits n more excuses. Use to be one of my stores when I lived in San Antonio, then I moved to Corpus Christi and the sams club here is the worst Sams I've ever been too horrible customer when trying to return a ring to jeweler I asked for help and the worker rolled her eyes and said I'm working there then had to get two other workers to help me when they figured it out didn't make eye contact and rolled there eyes and didn't let me return it and made a huge deal since the ring was from San Antonio but they had told in San Antonio that I could return it to any Sams as long as it was the way I bought it and with the receipt. But end of the story worst customer service do not recommend the sams club In Corpus Christi Texas. read more

Sam's has the best fruit which is probably the reason I bought a membership. Using the app makes it easier to walk in, get what I need, and walk out. Sometimes the In store price does not match what is scanned. In my opinion, if we pay for a membership it would be nice to shop without being stopped at every corner with people pushing products.
