I took my car in for tires. And they said they would give me windshield wipers. Apparently when they were putting on the windshield wiper they broke my windshield. When I got home I had a flat tire on my rear tire and all of my tire alarms were going off. But I took my car back the next day and they fixed the tire no charge. When I was on my road trip and discovered my windshield wiper on the passenger side was in pieces on my window and not installed properly and that my windshield was cracking from the passenger side where they installed a new windshield wiper and called them they said they would fix it. And they are going to do that. So they still behind their job. I admire that. I may have given them a bad rating before I realized that they would stand behind their work. We were returning from a weekend getaway from Port A when I got a flat tire, called several other tire shops and they didn't have any slots for us. We explained our situation and that we still have hundred of miles to go to reach home but all the other shop couldn't accomodated us. We called this shop and explained our situtation to Randy and he helped us, gave us a good deal and did not rip us off. We had a death in our family just this morning & want to be with family as soon as possible. We came here to get the tires air checked & Jason informed me that for safety reasons one of the tires would need to be replaced. He knows we are headed out of town but does not know why. Went to the store located in 4040 S. Padre Island Dr. - Corpus Christi, because a Flat Tire. Without any Inspection, the representative slips out a comment: "You may need a new tire", I ask him why? since the tire only have 10.000 miles and a puncture in the tire is something common to repair. After dismounting tire from the wheel, and upon inspection by the "expert" they come with the same conculusion: you need to buy a new tire, that cost $250. I ask to see the damage, I had been driving for the last 40 years, and surely enough my fair number of flat tires. Gotcha, upon my inspection, I saw the puncture in the very middle of the tire, thats is the fair place for repairment, but then they started telling me that this puncture was big enough to represent a safety risk and bla, bla,bla, the normal RIP OFF that they always try to slip on you. I took my car to a Pops and Moms garage, and they fixed by $30. This big corporations are rotten to the bone, trying to scam a 57 years old guy that have been riding an driving almost his entire life. At least by now you must be learn who to try to scam. read more

Went in at two. Was told to come back at 3 and my car would be ready at 4. I didn't want to be the reason it was late so I left my keys and waiting. A handful of other people came in between 3 & 4. And their vehicles were serviced before mine. They actually pulled my vehicle In Then pulled it right out for someone else who had an been there for 15 minutes even though I had been there since 2pm. Went to have Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS) light on checked. Tech checked tires and found 1 sensor dead, 2 low on battery and 1 OK. He said 1 had to be replaced but 2 low bat should be and all replacement recommend. I would decide and come back. Went back next day to have one sensor replace and stated previous diagnosis. Different Tech checked sensors and confirmed. Stated that just replacing the dead one that the Car TPMS warning would not clear, all needed to be replaced. Total BS read more

The staff is friendly and helpful but beware of shady practices: my car CLEARLY states a recommended tire PSI of 32, but both times I've left this place (initial purchase and puncture repair) I checked to find the tires inflated to 40PSI. Looking to wear out tires quicker is pretty crappy. read more

Good crew, honest. They are professional, and listen to the customer. Prior to a road trip, I had them check my tires for air pressure and tread depth, which is free. Heavy rains were forecasted, so I was concerned about hydroplaning. Rear tire tread depth-was borderline but safe. They could have suggested new tires, but were honest, our trip went well. Every time I get work done to a vehical I get new tires with a warranty. 3 separate times I've taken tires to get changed on warranty and nothing. Five stars, and I would give them ten if I could, especially the gentleman who filled up my tires, Walter I believe was his name. I came in at 5:20 ish after work and my tire pressure was low, I was able to get my tires filled up, warning light went off, and was out of there in less than ten minutes and for FREE. Went and had two tires put on my Ford Ranger. Best price in town for the tires and instillation. What makes this a three star instead of a five is when I got ready to leave noticed that tires on passenger side looked funny. When I checked them against the drivers side it dawned on me that they had left the center caps off the tires on the passenger side. Had to ask the technician to retrieve them and put them on the truck. He did and all was good. If I hadn't notice though I would be without my two caps. read more

I went in for a slow leak, and learned my dealer installed a tire with a twisted bead. Discount Tire refused to put it back on the car, and I figured I was in for high pressure to buy tires. Instead they GAVE me a used tire to replace the bad one so I would not have to drive on the donut spare. They told me that my dealer should never have placed the tire on the car and they should replace it. Discount Tire did me good and I know from where I will buy my next set. read more

It's easy to be pleased when everything goes right. But the way a business treats you when things don't go right is the best way to tell if you are dealing with a quality business. Most recently, I brought my daughter's car in after she had a flat. They had to replace the tire. I came back the next day because there were some issues. I explained what my issues were, but I did not even have to ask for them to correct them. They offered the solutions I was hoping for without me having to ask. Was informed that they misplaced my key and had already spent some time searching for it. Although this sounds like the start to a negative review, this is just an example of how they shine. Their employee was extremely apologetic and was throwing in the towel. They offered to drive me home to get my spare key, and pay for a replacement key. I wasn't ready for them to give up so I let them know that I was willing to continue to sit and wait while they kept looking. Ten minutes later they found it. Mistakes happen and I'm happy because of the way they handled it. Also feel like I got a decent deal for the tires.
