At first, my experience with Rent-A-Tire was great. The process of getting my rims was smooth, the staff was helpful, and the customer service seemed solid, until after the purchase. Once you're on a payment plan, the quality of service drops fast. When I ran into financial issues and needed to delay a payment by just a few days, I was met with terrible customer service and zero understanding. Instead of working with me, they resorted to harassment, showing up at my job, contacting my landlord, and even calling my personal references. That kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The staff, especially Tino and Frank, were extremely rude and disrespectful. Tino made threatening and harassing comments, and Frank was mouthy, dismissive, and out of line when I tried to call and work out a solution. It's clear they don't care about their customers once the sale is made. I work hard for my money and take care of my bills. When I hit a rough patch and tried to communicate honestly, all I got was harassment and attitude in return. The lack of compassion, respect, and professionalism from this company is beyond disappointing. I will never do business with Rent-A-Tire again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS THEIR DEFECTIVE TIRES ALMOST KILLED MY HUSBAND. My husband purchased 4 brand new tires from here on the 6th of February. Last night the driver rear tire blew and when it blew out it put our truck into a barrier. When I called the guy was a jerk and basically was like oh well we're not responsible. I have had amazing times with this company! When I first purchased my rims they were amazing, then they switched management and it's been downhill from there! I paid my rims off and still have a warranty but Chris is never willing to fulfill warranty items such as tires. I have came back 2 days in a row with an appointment set up by Chris and still others of Hispanic decent have managed to take my appointment slot and I am left behind and get in whenever is feasible for Chris! I am not of Hispanic decent, and this has happened every single time with Chris! Talk to Mark the manager he made sure I was taken care of immediately! Many of my friends have asked where I purchased my rims from I don't even mention this place to them. I tell them to find a mom and pop shop to get theirs! So tires are great over priced but great. It was the only way I was able to get tires for my car so I am not complaining about that. My issue is this place is very unorganized to start they told me they had my tires I show up they can't get them till the next day...then I show for my appointment the next day and they still do not have them. Finally they call 4 hours later they showed up. Then they told me if I left them a review online they would push my payment back a week. Well guess what they did not. So I call I go through 3 separate people before they start to figure out what was going on. Then they say oh well you never sent it to us. I say yes I emailed it which she finds. Then goes well you took till the 10th...Well that was the day they were installed have the receipt still. Then she goes well it was pushed back in it was originally the 21st supposed to move to the next wkd. So then they offer to refund it. But by the time it would clear as it take 3 days the new revised payment was going to come out so not really a fix honestly. They then said they would look into something else and call me back that was 2 days ago... so yea don't rely on anything they say. read more

This review is for this location only. Twice in under two months I've had to come here for a flat tire. And the first time I sat here from 8a until 2 pm. And I was the first customer in the store. This time I've been here since 1pm. And they claim there was 2 no it changed mid conversation to 3 cars a head of me. It is now 3 pm and for the last hour I haven't seen any thing done to the two cars sitting in the bays. My tire last time took 20 min tops to swap out why can't they just swap men out and they can let cars sit in the baby all day long doing nothing. Both times this has killed my day and any plans I had. I can't accomplish anything for my day when I have to stop at this location. Cause it consumes your whole day. 1 flat tire. read more

I needed tires for my truck and I usually am a loyal customer at Discount. They were unable to fix my flat due to the condition of my tire being worn beyond legal repair. So my free repair suddenly became very expensive because all four of my tires were in the same condition..just still holding air in them. So I searched rent a wheel and found this company. My phone call expierence was ok and Chris did some searching for my tires while I was on the phone. He found some tires I was interested in getting and had them delivered to his store location. I had an appointment time at 3pm. I was ontime, but wasnt able to leave with my tires mounted until about 2 and half hours later. It was a Saturday and only one person was working on the actual tire swapping. He did a good job and the tires are doing a great job. Smooth and balanced very well. Other then that the paperwork is very lengthy and they require alot of "proof" paperwork. You also sign enough papers to buy your car again. The whole point of this business is you dont need credit to get wheels and tires. So you better make sure you pay them ontime every week and before 90 days or you will pay double the cost. All in all I had a decent experience. My only complaint was the lengthy wait to get the tires on my truck. I was the only customer there at that time. all the bays were empty except my truck. I would recomend this business if you need tires, but need time to pay them off without a credit check. read more
