I have a 2006 Evolution and I am very very picky of who touches my car from the difficulty it is to find wicked white paint, difficulty to mach it perfectly, and difficult body lines! Though this shop, Ernesto payed my deposit, fixed my dents, and replaced what needed to be; and parts of my car are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE! I picked the perfect place, and will be sending busses and body/paint jobs his way continuously; especially my own! He has a mechanic on sight that knows what he's doing, even with a delicate motor, he is truthful of what needs to be done, and cares for his customers! A friend of mine referred me to Ernesto's after I was in an auto accident, then found out I had no insurance. Other places I asked wanted $4,500 plus to fix the vehicle. I paid no where near as much as that here. He runs his business like a family and treats customers like one as well, he wants to keep you happy with his work. What stoop out is he doesn't charge people for their deductibles and for me he wasn't trying to over charge for bullshit labor like other places do because he isn't looking to rip anyone off. He is looking to make a few extra bucks while fixing your vehicle. I highly highly recommend you go to him for all your body work, he is reasonable and fair and will work with you. He is a great person, he even gave me a ride from my home to shop to pick up car because he knew I was rushed for a doctors appointment. Took my beautiful 95 Lincoln Towncar to Ernesto's on the recommendation of AAA. My car had big dent in back on the trunk. scratched bumper, major scratches on driver door, and 2 huge scratches on hood from a bad storm and tree branches hitting it. I dropped car off on Wed afternoon, he said car would be ready following Tuesday. I get a call on Saturday that my car is ready. He did a PERFECT JOB...my car looks brand new, no scratches anywhere on the car...dent is gone, car is PERFECT!! I will recommend him to ANYONE. PLEASE AVOID BRINGING YOUR CARS HERE! I took my 2011 Toyota Camry here to get fixed after we were in a collision. At first the owner Ernesto was and said he'd take care of everything and leave it in BETTER conditions then it was before the accident. But once the insurance check came in he was rude and disrespectful. It's been 5 months since the accident and we have been in and out of that shop this entire time. My car is falling apart and for these past 5 months he denies of giving me any type of documentation like my receipt for what I paid, warranties nor a statement of what was actually done to my car. I HAVE NOTHING NO RECORDS OF ANYTHING. I called my adjuster and the sent me the final estimate he gave them and on the estimate he charged them for original parts and I got AFTERMARKET PLASTIC. And to top it off the bumper is not the actual bumper for my style of car. It keeps falling off. I took it in today to ask him to replace it with the original part and he said he would fix what I had but not replace it. He then said he did extra stuff to it just for being nice to us and to give him $1000 first and then he would give me documentation. That was the first time I ever heard about $1000 and if he did extra stuff he needed to tell the insurance so the insurance could pay for it. (My adjuster state they never received any documents of adding more stuff to the estimate if he would if they would of paid for it). He yelled and cursed at us so we told him we'd be taking legal matters in this situation and his response was "lawyers can't do shit on me". PLEASE DONT GO HERE 16st and Van Buren! What a horrible unorganized, unprofessional and very slow business! Took my Truck to get paint fix that was falling off that I got done here. I had warranty so I took it back. They said it would be ready buy that Friday I took it a Monday called Friday it wasn't done I has to go out of town so the owner said it's ok we can leave it her until you come back. Came back a Tuesday 6l8 days later went to pick up my truck wasn't ready wait until that Friday called him no answer so I went and he shows me my truck with a different color paint and said if I wanted to take it like that I could? ??? Is that a serious response so I didn't take it he ruined it he fixes it. He said well come next Friday 3 WEEKS LATER on little paint job on a door turned into 3 almost a month. Then my truck passenger blinking light is out, Why? And my inside lights where moved why? There is no reason to have to be inside my truck to paint other then to move it. Then I had just pump gas full tank, I now have a no gas.
