Procedure done late February 2024, follow up in Indiana March 2024 with a good podiatrist who said nail will not grow back if medicine leaked into the back bed of the nail, and I went to Dr. Casteel April 11, 2024 I went back to show her how botched the nail was and wanted to find out if my nail was going to grow or not. The doctor patronized me and asked me with negative nonverbal facial, neck and body expressions; "Why did you come here today?" I replied, "I want to find out if my toenail is going to grow back or not?" I did not get an answer because she kept arguing with me that she did not touch the back section of my toenail. But then I asked her, "Then, why when you were doing the procedure in February, and I kept telling you it hurt, you said that you weren't even touching it. The fact was, That the doctor pulled the skin that attaches the nail from the side (which should have been done) AND the skin that attached the nail bed to the back of the toenail bed under the skin (SHOULD NOT have been done---and thats what I said hurt when doc was doing the procedure.) She argued with me then, patronized me, was condescending and very very rude! She argued again today and denied that she ever touched anything in the back. But still could not answer why I had pain in that back section. Ironically, there was a sign in the doctor's office that read: "The success of your procedure relies on who is the DOCTOR." I told her that the success relies on the doctor LISTENING to her patients." Not arguing. STAY AWAY!

He gave me undivided attention and explained the process properly to were I had no questions. The first week I tried to do everything he asked however I was unable to without having pain and shock. I talked to the Dr. and later had an procedure and it was very simple I was out of the hospital in a day. I then went back to Peaks were I was with Kristin and she gave me he undivided attention for the remainder of the time I was there around 9 weeks 2 days a week Kristin was an amazing professional doing everything properly to help me help myself get back into total physical shape to move forward with in life without anymore difficulties with my neck or back now I am in a GYM working out to make my muscles stronger to keep them in shape. Long story short, we came in at 3 am for major abdominal pain for my boyfriend. He could barely move, they did their routine questions and when asked he admitted he does smoke marijuana on occasions and she jumped to "well thats probably your issue" the male nurse also agreed with her and from that point on they were very stand offish. They just assumed they knew what was wrong and wrote off his pain. He assured them he knows his body and he knows its something more serious but the blonde also insisted its her job and she does this everyday. Tried to over explain different new strains have been "causing major abdominal pain." Just diagnosed him with out having any test back whats so ever. And was awfully snobby about it. Then test start rolling back in and shes no where to be seen but the males attitude shifted and he seemed more attentive and warned us some stuff looked a little off. Anyways in the end we ended up being moved facilities to have his APPENDIX REMOVED. Any one whos had the procedure and issues knows the pain. It was very unprofessional and unpleasant. We've never felt more uncomfortable in a doctors vicinity for simply being honest. Just be careful with some of the nurses here and trust your gut, because they will try to write you off and act like they are the doctors to end up being COMPLETELY WRONG.

My husband injured his knee playing sports. Pain was at a 10. Upon the visit Dr Burney stated that…read morehe thought it was a simple flareup of severe arthritis. Husband was told to go ahead and continue walking on it as usual and He asked us to come back in 2 weeks to see if the agonizing shot he gave in the knee had done the trick. Every day was horrible and the anti-inflammatories did very little to help. So I asked if he could go ahead and get an MRI instead of waiting for that 2 week appointment. The office workers kept returning my phone calls to the wrong number. We finally got on the same track and his assistant scheduled an mediate MRI for my husband late on a Friday night. After not hearing anything all day Monday and having gone through the weekend in agony, I called and asked what the results were. I was told that Dr. Burney went on vacation and we would have to come in for an appointment when he got back in town in order to get the results another week away. We gave up and went to another doctor and it turned out that he had a torn meniscus, a possible fractured bone on the inside of the bone, and severe swelling of the marrow. 3 days later my husband had surgery by Dr Sutker of Plano sports medicine. Dr Burney's office still never even called us with the results of the MRI.

It's refreshing to see healthcare providers who genuinely care about their patients(my wife). they did mess up our tests initially. They did manage to fix a few of them, which was good. Unfortunately, one test couldn't be salvaged at all. Because of that one issue, I've got to give it a 3-star rating.
