It's conveniently located off Hwy 17, right across from Southwest Middle School. Parking is easy with a small lot out front and an additional lot in the back. They offer a huge selection of meats, everything from deli cuts, bacon, homemade sausages, beef, pork, and chicken, to a nice variety of local seafood. You'll also find a small section of local eggs and produce, and trust me, the eggs are far better than anything you'll get at the grocery store. In the center are long frozen coolers packed with meat. Many cuts of meat you don't see at Kroger's or Publics. There was a whole case of goat. Leg of goat, goat ribs, goat chops, you name it. The case across from it was filled with organ meat like liver, heart, lung, tongue and some other choices. They has a special of buying 5 items for $20. Most of the packages were $4.00 and change so you would save $2-$4. I bought some pork chops and chicken strips. I have yet to make them so I can't attest to quality. I also picked up a couple of strip steaks that are large enough for 2 to share. I would rather cook one large juicy steak and cut it in half than cook 2 skinny steaks. Either way it's the same amount of steak. I asked the cashier if they had any hot dogs but his English was limited and he didn't understand the question. I was a little disappointed in the fresh meat case. Didn't see many choices. Walked next door to Jackie's Seafood Market but that's another review.
