I've gone here for several different things. Firstly I brought in an old pocket watch that belonged to my Grandfather which no longer worked. They told me all it needed was a good cleaning and didn't try to gauge me for unnecessary repairs. It works perfectly now. Also had an old pinky ring that belonged to my Father. I no longer wore it because every three months or so the stone would fall out. I was tired of buying cheap plastic stones and having them glued in only to have to do the same thing three months later. I brought the ring to Ray's and explained the situation. I also asked for a real ruby to be put in. The lady at the counter was fantastic! She explained how they would create four tines that would hold the stone in place plus she gave me 3 options on the stone. $3000 for a real Ruby. $700 for lab grown. $75 for cheap plastic. I chose lab grown. After the process was completed I now have a beautiful ring that I no longer worry if the stone will fall out. All in all Ray's has become my go to for any type of jewelry needs I have. read more

I obtained my watch batteries here for years but now I no longer do so because the last 2 batteries I bought here did not even last 3 months. They also incidentally no longer issue the one year warranty they used to with their batteries. That tells me they are using inferior products now. Such a shame. read more

I got my watch replaced its battery for $6. The place looks old outside but it looks really fancy inside!

This jewelry store is very shady. My mother took a ring in to have the diamonds removed to be made into earrings. The ring is very intricate and has a treelike design on the sides. It is now clearly thin on one side and asymmetrical. I took it up to ask if a piece had broken off and they were very rude and short with me while smiling. Take your business somewhere else instead of this establishment. read more

What a nice place. Took wife's bracelet in because clasp was extremely loose. Figured clasp would need replaced. When arrived it was close to closing about 5:20 and there were people ahead of me. I sat down and waited and within 5 mins I was assisted. Showed bracelet and I figured the clasp would need replacing. She said let me see if I can tighten it. Less than 10 mins later she comes out try this she says. It was tight like it should be. I said man thanks and reached for my wallet. Don't worry I was told. I merely tightened it, and walked to assist someone else. I thanked again. What a nice place. read more

Clearly incapable of properly servicing and adjusting an automatic watch. These people not only failed to properly service and adjust a high-end automatic chronograph, they damaged movement parts and scratched the pushers with whatever they used to remove them. The movement was dirtier after service than before it was received by them, smudges of grease were everywhere along with clearly visible specks of dust. They give you lip-service about voiding the warranty if you open the case, but you really need to in order to inspect their shoddy worksmanship. I took the watch to a more reputable watch service center, and they were blown away at how awful the previous service was. read more
