We were stressed about getting it fixed because I had a flight the next day from Boston and it was Sunday so every repair shop was closed. We were lucky enough to notice Lutz's bay door closing as we passed and quickly pulled in. The shop was closed, but the owner went out of his way to help us. After taking a quick look, he let us know it was a coolant leak and he would work on it the next day. He set realistic expectations and was kind and thoughtful. He had the truck fixed and ready to go the next day, and was very reasonably priced. If you're in a bind or just looking for some general maintenance, we couldn't recommend Lutz Automotive enough!

Apparently tires are one of the commodities that are in short supply due to Covid. We called several places and Lutz's Automotive was able to order a tire for us and have it there the next morning. They were super helpful and very friendly. Their service was outstanding and we felt like they really cared about our issue. Several service technicians jumped in to help change the tire and then they even drove it to make sure everything was set correctly. If there was a higher rating than 5 stars these folks deserve it. I wish we lived closer to these wonderful people but Virginia is a bit far to drive. Ryan and Derrick we now feel like we have friends in Vermont! Outstanding!

Now I have a crack all the way across my windshield and I'm going to have to pay my $500 deductible for an $800 windshield replacement. I was never told that a repair could fail costing me a lot more money. I would have checked with other businesses and asked more questions. Then a manager calls back and has a bout of amnesia and doesn't remember what was repeated to him several times. They tried inflating the price almost $2100 from what was agreed upon and documented. They seemed to want to deal with me less when I told them I was not financing the purchase through them I already had financing lined up. They did this also to my wife when she bought her new vehicle. She was also smart enough to walk away. She called another dealership and gave them the lot number of the need she wanted (at north point) they picked it up and delivered it to her at the price they agreed upon (which was less than north point quoted her). Bottom line Pay attention to the numbers and get in writing (be very clear) what you are getting/financing.
