They delivered the products to our home in Neenah, WI They did not tell us they will not go to Neenah for service. When we had a problem with our washer, we called their service department. The lady we talked to, first of all was not very nice in her tone. Then told us, "We don't go to Neenah for service". She said call this number and gave me a number for a third-party service company. It turned out to be "Sears Appliance Service". We had to wait three days for a tech to come. When he came and took the washer apart, he did not have the part. he said it was common part with GE, but they don't stock it. It had to be ordered. Another three days to get the part. You have to call when the part arrives to set up another appointment for installation of the part. Another three days. We will NEVER buy from Silica again.

We had to work with Universal Hime Protection to get my credit from my protection plan and somehow that didn't come over or no one could find the information. Now on the other side of the business, other than sales, it is extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone in the office or service department, phones are never answered and leaving a voicemail is useless, they do not return calls. They have a text option as well which can take up to a day to get a response if any. I'm trying to be understanding due to Covid but it is not acceptable in my opinion. What we didn't expect was for him to stalk us like prey around the store. We prefer to look around and if we see something we are interested in, then seek out a salesperson. However at this location, that was not the case. I simply wanted my wife to check out the mattresses "blindly", unaware of the price and to let her discover which mattress was the most comfortable for her. My lovely bride is often too frugal and will let price decide in order to save a few dollars, instead of what is the most comfortable. Unfortunately the salesman thwarted my efforts by constantly offering up too much unsolicited information. We came to the store wanting to buy and he literally talked himself out of a sale. I then drove us down to Wisconsin Rapids and to Tammie's Furniture and Mattress Gallery. My lovely bride was allowed to try out almost every mattress on display. It was only after finding one that was the most comfortable for her was price discussed. It turned out to be a Stearns and Foster Pillow Top, the same brand that Furniture and Appliance Mart had on sale. We purchased the mattress from Tammie and the following day returned to Furniture and ApplianceMart to purchase their Queen Mattress cover/protector as it appears to be a well made product. Shari was the Room Consultant that sold us the mattress protector and was very helpful and patient when we asked questions about the product. She had a totally different demeanor from the salesperson we worked with the previous day. Had we have worked with Shari first, I'm confident we would have purchased the mattress from her as well.

The serviceman told me a step by step procedure to follow to get the unit back into service. The problem was solved and the refrigerator has worked properly since then. I called at a later date to thank them for the beneficial service provided on a holiday. The help I received was very much appreciated. Few people give that kind of service in the present society.
