I've been coming here for years, back when it was still DCA -- and the difference after Rayus took over is drastic. DCA was patient‑first: fast check‑ins, five‑minute waits, organized staff, and zero issues accessing records. Rayus is the opposite. Since the acquisition, I've had constant account problems, repeated password resets, IT failures, and even duplicate accounts created without my consent. My records end up scattered, and the only way I recently got my results was by driving in person to pick them up. Wait times have also exploded. What used to be a five‑minute walk‑in now regularly turns into an hour or more. And phone staff can be rude -- one employee even hung up on me. The decline is obvious: DCA felt like people first; Rayus feels like profit only . Patients deserve better. read more

Avoid at all cots. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. You are placed on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes! Waited three days for a call from a supervisor since they claim they did not have info on an implant, which was provided two separate times from the previous appointments. read more

It is nearly impossible to schedule an appointment. I sat on hold for over 20 minutes and just could wait any longer. This NEVER seems to improve. I wish I didn't have to use this facility. I would AVOID Rayus if you can go somewhere else. Once you get in, the technical staff is great, but you have to get by the front desk which you ALWAYS have to wait in line for and then you are treated like an inconvenience for showing up for a scheduled appointment. Came to pick up my medical records, I called in advance to make sure that my discs would ready for me. Happily they were ready and I was able to go in and out of the facility today with my medical records in hand. After my last two experiences and reading the reviews, I am so done here. read more

Let's start with the positive... the staff is very kind. The office was clean. All the rest is negative... I went here for 2 tests and they told me that today the tech was not there. It was not even a day they do the test so the don't know who scheduled me for having it done today. Clearly I was livid. So I now have to go back again to have it done. There wasn't any available time for 2 days and I need the tests asap. So this place is nowhere I would ever recommend to anyone. But this is a Rayus company. And the staff that the scheduler worked for the company not any one location. So I would never go to any Rayus location. read more

I had my mammogram at Rayus. There is plenty of parking at this location on boynton beach blvd. The front desk staff is not overly friendly but they did get the check in process done - - a smile would have been welcomed. The radiology tech who did my mammogram was very good - she was kind and respectful. I received my results later the same day! Wow - that's great service. However, I will not be going back to Rayus :(. I have United Healthcare insurance and they sent me a letter stating that Rayus will no longer be in network because they couldn't agree on pricing and therefore as of December 1, 2024, Rayus doesn't accept United Healthcare. The facilities manager Juan is an excellent professional and did everything possible within his power to help accommodate me safely for an MRI & Krista has also been super helpful working with me and dealing with my health insurance company. The only thing that would make it even better is if the facility had clean indoor air quality with UL certified Far UVC Light 222nm. I did wear a P100 mask called an Omni mask which is safe for an MRI & clear with no metal. The tech was not as knowledgeable as she should've been regarding the respirator and she was belligerent about being taking off my eye protection which also had no metal. The tech and assistant did wear the surgical masks as I appreciated but not all staff was masked up in the facility and it was crowded. I will need to go back in the future and understand evenings are less crowded. For those who can tolerate a readymask that protects that is also an option for an MRI but it sticks to your face so if you have skin sensitivity then the P100 is great. The tech was projecting her issues about my mask onto me but I stood my ground. The assistant was very nice and helped me up after. I was also glad to have the headphones with music because it helped being in the machine with the loud noises more tolerable. Btw my P100 omni mask is the most comfortable P100 I have and it is see through. I actually find breathing easy, and I do have 2 other P100 respirator masks but the Omni mask is so comfortable, so not sure why the tech was projecting her bias onto me but that doesn't mean that every technician is like that. Most technicians understand we can't have any metal on at all during an MRI & if you take the metal nose bridge out of an N95 or K95 then you lose the fit of the seal which defeats the purpose and a baggy blue surgical mask doesn't protect as well against airborne pathogens. read more

. i've been using Rayus radiology for the past 10 years and have always found it to be very professional a very caring staff and an easy check-in experience. I have had mammograms, MRIs, nuclear testing bone density, and a few others. Again, I find them to be a very good radiology group. read more

The absolute WORST facility!! One issue after another. First of all, good luck trying to get anybody on the phone there. I was on hold three separate days for a half hour each time. Their recording says they are updating, experiencing long wait times, and trying to make improvements. What a joke!!! I was finally able to get somebody on the phone to schedule my CT scan. I was told that I needed to come into the facility, prior to the testing, to get an oral barium solution that I need to drink for the test. A week prior to the test, I went to pick up the barium, and they told me that my doctor did not require the barium drink for my test....only an iodine contrast. I asked why they didn't know that when I made the appointment The person I spoke to said they always tell you to come in to get the barium, even if you don't need it ! So I guess they don't care about wasting anybody's time! Makes absolutely no sense!! When I finally arrived for my CT scan, the tech proceeded to stick a needle in my vein, where they were going to inject the iodine solution. It was so painful, and I told him. He said that it should not hurt at all, and he realized that he put it in the wrong spot!!!! He then removed it where he should have. In the interim, my arm started to swell in the location, where he first injected the needle. He told me not to worry about it, and that it will get better. A few days later, I started getting headaches, and a low grade fever. I'm not sure if that is coincidental, or if it's associated. It is now almost 2 weeks later, and it is still painful. The swelling has gone down, and so has the big black and blue mark I had, but the pain is still there. I couldn't get anybody on the phone to discuss it, so I waited until I had a bone density scheduled there, yesterday. I asked to speak to somebody about my pain. They sent me back to speak to a CT tech. He said it is very uncommon for that to happen, but the tech who did it, must've infiltrated it into my system, and if I'm concerned, I should address it with my doctor!!!!!!! Not very happy, as I think I may have permanent damage from this. I forgot to add that when I arrived for my CT scan, they told me that whoever booked my appointment made it for the Delray location, and not the Boynton location... So I had a hurry over to the other facility. An all around fiasco!!!!! read more

Called this morning to get a head CT. The helpful person on the phone immediately got me in the schedule same day. Got to appointment, everyone was polite and efficient. Scan took 2 minutes. State of the art machines. Highly recommend this place. Also, I am cash pay...CT cost me $225. Couldn't ask for better, more efficient company. Thank you! read more

I accompanied my husband to have an MRI of his prostate. He was scheduled for late at night, an appointment he waited almost two weeks to get. The employees were very pleasant and he had no complaints. However, it has been almost two weeks and results have yet to come. It's a disgrace and surely seems as though they're saving money on radiologists . I would never return here or recommend this facility. Beware! read more

There is no review category for the snotty attitude I experienced. My cardiologist's team scheduled a $10K test for me. I called Rayus in Boynton Beach, Florida to confirm the appointment. The male phone person I was calling to confirm time and location. Was able to do this simple task and had to call back, because I never received the scheduling email from Rayus. Called back and asked to speak with a supervisor. Instead of being connected with a supervisor, I was grilled by someone for 5 minutes. I'm done. Possibly with the Cardiologist, I will call my lawyer to file a complaint with CMS. read more

I went here on a Wednesday 4 pm appointment for a CTC scan. There was parking right in front of the building which is clearly marked with the RAYUS sign. I walked straight into the office from the main entrance, waited on the line for less than a minute when I was called to sign in. The process was simple. The receptionist went through a process of questions and I signed a bunch of waivers electronically. Then I waited again in a seat for only 5 minutes until I was called to have the scan. I was walked to the room where I was instructed to lay down on the machine and have the scan. It took no more than 90 seconds and I was done; it was easy peasy! If necessary I would come back to this Center because it was easy, quick and very stress-free. read more

While they were quick to call me to schedule an MRI the moment the Dr ordered, taking over 12 days and still counting to bother to read it and upload the report! When checking on it, repeatedly, the answer is " we are behind because we are low on radiologists"! Then do not take in customers and charge for it!! I agree with the comment Rayus only is interested in one thing...MONEY! I don't agree that they are a one star. They are zero star! Concern about their involvement in health care is not on the management agenda. Reviews by staff certainly show it is a poorly run company, that treats patients and employees horribly. Comments about the length of time for results for doctors show the national corporate management are clueless about their caring for the patients! It should be rated ZERO stars. July 2023 My wife went for a PET scan. The young lady that gave her the IV, Fiorella, was wonderful. Now, we move onto the scan. My wife was scanned, then after she was screened, Gabe the tech, said she needed to do it again since she moved after the whole scan was completed. Then, he changed his excuse to have her do it again and said her arms need to be over her head instead of by her sides and not moving. Her arms have not been over her head for the past ten years for a PET scan. I explained to him that both her shoulders have had surgery and it was difficult for her to put her arms over her head. This has never been a problem in the Royal Palm Beach office. Gabe the tech, was heartless and said that she needed to do it that way. The other techs tried to assist, he moved them aside to take over but she was in too much pain to keep her arms up over her head for 15 minutes. The Royal Palm Beach location kept her arms at her side and this protocol was never an issue. Bottom line: during the past 10 years, she has always had a PET scan with her arms by her side and staff has been accommodating. It seems that Gabe needs to be retrained in bedside manners and in the limitations and disabilities that certain patients have. Shame on them for his lack of consideration. It's a pity that when someone needs medical services that they are treated this way. read more

This is one of the WORST places to try to get a test done. They put you on HOLD for about 25 minutes and have a recording going on that tells you how important you are to them. HA HA - The call center overseas kept me on hold for 3 days, usually for 25 minutes each time. Once I was disconnected and was on hold for about an hour in total. After all this waiting on hold for CAT SCANS I was told to come to their facility in West Boynton Beach, near my house this Tuesday (yesterday). On Tuesday I went for my appointment in the rain and waited. They called me in a room and proceeded to tell me they could not do the most important test that I needed. They said they do the test in Delray and not Boynton Beach. Well, I suppose overseas they think that Delray and Boynton Beach are the same place. And I drove from Delray to Boynton to take the test. I WAS FURIOUS. Just FURIOUS. The fellow who took care of the situation was the BIGGEST JERK in the world, maybe not the biggest but an arrogant creep - his name is Juan. He told me that my attitude was not good enough for him to help me. HE REFUSED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR ME in DELRAY. I REFUSE TO SPEND ANY MORE TIME ON HOLD FOR THIS radiology place that puts money ahead of their customers. If they don't have enough money to hire someone to answer the phone, I SAY LET"S BOYCOT THEM. STAY AWAY FROM RAYUS. GO TO DELRAY MRI - they do many of the tests you can get a RAYUS and they have no wait time on hold and are nice as well. I AM SO ANGRY AT RAYUS THERE ARE NO WORDS. Every time I go to a RAYUS location they have a different time for my appointment than the one I was provided/confirmed for. For a recent test I was told to be there at 8 am so a pill that was needed could take effect by the time the lab would be performed. When I arrived I was told my appointment was in two hours and I should come back. The lab work was supposed to take place at 9:15! Today I arrived at 11:45 for a noon appointment and was not called at 12:30. The receptionist said the time they give the patient is always 30 min off but then they called in someone with a 12:15! I have never seen a more disorganized office and medical group!!! My X-ray prescription was sent on March 17th but not received until March 21st. I Personal had to go back to my dr to double check about the faxed prescription. Finally I went back to RAYUS and they found my prescription. The X-ray was done right then and there. Now I am trying to get a copy of my report for surgery... Guess what? They can't find my X-ray!!! Update Bob, please send me a number to call!!! read more

Terrible! My wife had an appointment for a pet scan for my oncologist to have info for her next chemo treatment. When we got to Rayus and after waiting. we were told the machine was broken and they would call to reschedule. Second time that happened...maybe they need to upgrade their equipment. No one called to reschedule so we called them. She was told that their "protocol " says they can only schedule at least a week out. When she told them that this would not work for my chemo appointment. she was told to reschedule her chemo treatment and if we wanted to go to a different provider we should just go right ahead. WTF. When I tried getting hold of their operations director. No call back from her either. All this after issues with their patient portal and having a doc wait 2 weeks for test results. No only would I not recommend them I would caution you and your docs to stay away from them. read more

Its impossible to make an appointment because seems they lost my prescription and weekend came in and waiting a few more days also will delay any sooner appointment available for me. The doctor office send twice the prescription and I cant get it done trying to do an appointment. The only thing that rayus ask me is call back my doctor and i fell im in the middle of it when there is nothing for me to do, instead of them helping communicating with the doctor office. The facility and technicians were great but the turn around time to get results is substandard. I am waiting to find out if I have a brain tumor. 6 days now and a doctor has not read my MRI! A friend of mine has been waiting 10 days for her scan of her abdomen. People have to put their lives on hold and wait for important results. Rayus is making money but needs to hire more Radiologists to interpret results of MRI's. Another medicare abuse. read more

I had a CT scan with and and without contrast yesterday at Rayus West Palm Beach location. I did not have to wait to check in. Staff was professional and followed protocol every step of the way. Staff was also welcoming, and took the time to explain all procedures. All areas of the facility that I saw were immaculate. I will return if I am in need of radiology services in the future. read more

I was very pleased with the Rayus facility near me until today. Made an appointment for an ultrasound well in advance. Sat waiting today for an hour and a half and only when I complained, was I told that radiology was running an hour late. The woman also claimed my appointment was 20 minutes later than I had been told. I could no longer wait and left. I now have an appointment at another Rayus facility next week and hope for better. The hold for the call center to make an appointment is at least 20 minutes. This year is the last time I will be going to Rayus for my mammogram and ultrasound. read more

If you're a fan of confusion and wasted time this is the place for you. I showed up at my scheduled appointment (on time) only to be informed that my appointment wasn't for another week. I apologized for getting things mixed up and then made another appointment. When I returned home I found an email from RAYUS informing me that my appointment today was canceled due to a problem with their equipment. The email then suggested I call to make another appointment. So, i called to straighten out the matter only to be put on hold for 17 minutes. Yikes!!! It's been almost two weeks and my mammogram and bone density test have not yet been read by a radiologist. On hold on the phone for 103 minutes. No one seems to care there. I don't understand why their changing over to a new electronic records system is preventing radiologists from evaluating tests. Makes no sense. So much for patients' rights. Took 2 weeks to get the results for a sonogram. Had to call twice and ask them to if it was done both time they said the radiologist has not read it yet . On the 3rd phone call after two weeks I asked if it was done they said yes it was done for two day but no one had called me nor did they fax it over to the doctor! This place is a mess! If your getting a sonogram for a baby you might have the baby before you get the results! read more

In error I wrote my review in East. My review was for west. Each person I met at desk and elsewhere was cold and unfriendly. Go to mri. Told to get in. No smile. No greeting. No explanation as to what I would experience. I had to ask how long it was or would take. When done I couldn't get up. Had to ask for assistance. Was wobbly. Sent me out. No explanation. No attention to whether I could walk. Never said ypu can go home. Had to ask. Awful staff. Cold robots. Will never return. read more

i had multiple appointments here. They are always short staffed and technicians arrive late to work making you wait anywhere from 30-45 minutes behind. then they take longer between multiple tests than any other facility. Go somewhere else, its poorly run. read more
