My doctor sent me to RAYUS in DELRAY Beach for a mammogram several weeks ago. Many weeks have gone by since my mammogram, and I have not heard one word with regard to the results of my test. I am a breast cancer survivor, and I have no idea if there have been any changes since my previous mammogram a year ago. They have not contacted me or my physician, which means that my cancer could have become more aggressive in the past year without my knowledge.. No written report and no attempt to contact me or my physician by telephone. This is a frivolous and dangerous way to treat any patient, but especially a cancer patient!. Wish I could rate 0 stars. This is by far the most unorganized organization I have ever had to deal with. My doctor sent an order for me to have an MRI and someone from Rayus reached out to me to schedule it When I showed up for my 8:00am appointment I was told they could not find my order and would have to reschedule. I received a call the next day that they had what they needed and rescheduled me for 10 days later again at 8:00am. I received a text the day before asking me to confirm my appointment which I did and received a reply acknowledging my response. When I showed up for my 8:00am appointment I was told that my appointment was for 5:45pm, not 8:00am. When I showed the receptionist the text, his reply was "well it's in our system for 5;45, not 800am and he was unable to provide any explanation. I was told I could come back at 5:45 or wait to be squeezed in in about an hour. Meanwhile from what was going on in the reception area, I was not the only patient experiencing this organizations complete lack of organization and customer service. I had to get a test here recently. They were really quick once I got there for my appointment, and the process was smooth. The main issue I had was due to my doctor scheduling the wrong test at another location that couldn't even do my test, but the staff at that location helped me to schedule the correct one. The other issue was that it took a really long time to get an appointment. They have too long of a wait list! I don't know of any other options for the test I had locally, so I had to wait like a month while hoping I didn't have a medical issue. Luckily I'm fine! read more

Horrible!!! Phoned three times. one hour wait to speak to a live person. Made my appointment. No text confirmation is sent until a couple of days before the appointment. Went in to the location to confirm the appointment another 45 minutes of my time and I'm being told that my appointment is on a different day than what I scheduled and that I can't cancel it because it involves nuclear medicine. I was never given this information when I made the appointment. Now I am at the location waiting for the scheduler to get through to the desk because she's not trained to reschedule nuclear medicine. There is a serious problem with Rayus. No one can get their reports. It has been 3 weeks since my husband had MRI. Report still not read. They obviously need more radiologists. My doctor has stopped referring to Rayus. I will never use again. Went to Boca Regional on Thursday and my doctor had the report on Monday. There are sick people waiting for these results. read more

The worst place and service i have had in a long time. Made an appointment as usual 2 weeks out, left work early just to show up and walk into chaos in the front office of west Delray where i had been many times before. After 30-minute wait i was informed they had closed this office for weeks and hadn't bothered to call or text me to reschedule. all they would do is offer to reschedule me after they reopened weeks later. I had to leave. called back and tried to reschedule at another facility as thing were getting critical now and was given the best appointment 2 more weeks out. I explained i needed this exam to make other obligations and this was unexpectable with no resolve. Then requested to speak to a supervisor and they took my name and number and i was promised a call back, it never happened. so sad to see this place fail so badly compared to what it used to be. As a physician I can say I am disgusted with the services provided here, or lack thereof. After ordering and faxing a STAT order for a patient, with help from the appointment personnel after a 30 minute hold, I called 2 days later for the "STAT" report, was told it hadn't been read yet, and they didn't know it was STAT because they never saw the faxed order. After another 15 minutes on hold I was cut off, called back at 11:28AM and got a message that this was outside of normal business hours. Unbelievable. Corporate medicine at its worst. read more

My wife and I have used Diagnostic Center of America since 2010. After RAYUS took it over the quality of service is steadilly going down. My last MRI was done on 3/13/24. 2 weeks later and no report in the system yet. Needless to say next time we are going to another provider. read more

Terrible experiences. Mammogram report wasn't sent to me or doctor until 3 weeks later after I complained. Later was not able to schedule X-ray appt for 3 days after doctor faxed order 3 times. I went to my primary dr and she ordered a routine bone destiny test which she said was covered by my annual exam When I checked in for the test they said "no worries, it's covered I had the test even though I've had no bone loss problem just to do what she requested When I checked in they said there was no copayment Test was (as expected) my bones are fine Well just got a bill for $43 and it wasn't worth the exposure to radiation either read more

Avoid at all costs. Not only do they take over a week to get a report out they also take days to burn a disc with the images when it should take moments. The techs are wonderful and that's about it. The worst part is that the rest of the staff is beyond rude If you are in pain and in need of immediate answers go somewhere else. I have used this facility before and have been impressed with the service. Not this time unfortunately. As always the staff from the front to the techs in the back are wonderful. BUT why should it take 5 business days and counting to get CT scan results which may have life altering information? I realize that the company is busy. Looking at their ads saying how many Dr's and radiologists they have on staff gives you the impression that they have enough people on staff to handle the load. Guess not. I arrived at RAYUS for a test and waited over an hour in a packed waiting room. When I asked Juan about the wait time, he responded dismissively, saying it could be 'maybe another hour.' When I expressed my frustration, he abruptly told me not to 'scream' at him--though I hadn't raised my voice. Instead, he seemed irritated and dismissive. After that interaction, I decided to leave. This experience was extremely disappointing. Overbooking patients and not having adequate staff to manage the appointments is unacceptable, especially with such an unprofessional attitude. The person at the front desk was warm and friendly and the place seemed clean. That was the only positive to my experience. I was in the waiting room an hour past my appointment time. When the technician came out to get me, she didn't introduce herself. The first thing she said to me was you're not allowed to have water because I was drinking water which I was told was allowed. The overall 1.7 Yelp rating speaks for itself. And the canned, generic replies add further insult since it is obvious there is no corrective action. I am not the usual complainer rampant in the area. In fact I come from a world renowned customer service background working with some of the most beloved brands. The front desk ladies here are quite indifferent, impersonal, and inefficient. Front desk could not advise what copay would be. The tech advised fasting was not necessary even though I was advised to fast when booking on the phone and asked if I had fasted when checking in. Would have been nice to know that prior. 5-7 days to send the results to doctor? I asked for CD, was told it will be 20 minutes, was never called, and then checked in at 25 minutes and sure enough it was ready. I would have been sitting there all day! Of course they didn't offer a report at checkout, which the doctor also requested. Just like I was never called for an earlier appointment opening having been on the waitlist, and I called back myself to find there was indeed a sooner slot. After the appointment, I was sent a text to schedule as if I have not been there in the first place lol. Total disorganization. Cue the pointless reply that won't do anything to change so the crappy reviews continue amassing. I was actually seen quickly, which is the one redeeming factor. This is the worst place to go for testing since they were switched over from DCA. The wait time here is endless, and the staff are without a doubt the nastiest you can come across. I asked the receptionist if I could see the list, she told me no, because of HIPAA. What a joke, because when you check in you put your name on the list with what procedure you are having done, how does that comply with HIPAA laws. They also allowed a women come in with a dog, seriously, what's with people and these dogs. There are lots of people allergic to dogs and now we have to put up with them indoors. I will definitely find somewhere else to have these kinds of tests done in the future. read more

On Saturday, May 6th I had a Cat Scan. Front desk was very pleasant, however I was led into imaging room by a most arrogant lady. Unfortunately I had suffered a broken neck, shoulder and wrist due to a recent fall. Needless to say, I'm quite incapacitated. This tech told me to lie on transporter sled. After watching me struggle, still offered no help. Finally assisted me. Upon completion of the scan, once again ignored me painfully attempting to raise myself off the sled. I had to tell that could not do it. Reluctantly, she through her arm at me to help up. This someone that should not be dealing with patients! My previous visits to Rayus have been very pleasant. Nice people, but reports take longer than ANYWHERE else. They changed ownership or names & it is now basically a useless company. It is totally unacceptable that a test can't be read within 1 week. Sounds like another medical provider providing for the administrators more than the patients. As a point of comparison, my Dad had a similar test 3 months ago, at a different company. He had the report & the images within 2 hours. Never again will we use Rayus & my wife requires a minimum of 3 MRIs per year. I was told to still arrive at the appointment. Rayus imaging/Delray/Jog has become dysfunctional. I used to know that a visit to Rayus would be trouble-free and pleasant. Not any more! My scan appointment was for 5pm. At 515 they call me to the appointment desk to tell me I'm cancelled because the tech person went home. That's nice. The woman assigned to reschedule me was clearly under-trained. She just sat there babbling to herself before offering me some appointment times if I also get a mammogram. Yes, I know men can and do get breast cancer but I told her I didn't want the mammogram and my doctor had not ordered it so who would pay for it. She kept insisting the mammogram was mandatory until she finally called her supervisor and her supe set her straight. On top of all this, they no longer offer online check-in. The scans, xrays, etc are taking several days or even weeks to get read and reported. But wait, there's more! The patient portal, which used to work fine, is now somewhere between unusable and gone. The times I was here previously when it had a different name was excellent. The last time I was here when it became Rayus, for mammogram the girls at the desk were great and the tech was amazing. Now I come in here today w an appointment for a mammogram and the girl at the front desk had a bad attitude and told me oh sorry, NOONE called you to cancel? I said no. She said well I believe they must have because we aren't doing mammograms until Wednesday. Today is Monday. She basically called me a liar and didn't apologize. She just said , well you either want to make a new appointment or you don't. I said , wow you're professional. She just shook her head at me and said again, do you want to make a new appointment or not. Her name is well she had gray hair and was the only older lady working at the desk and she put my file in a bin. I've now been sitting /standing here 15 minutes for them to just give me a new appt. Now it's been another 15 minutes Another woman told me that I can cancel it if I don't want to wait and get no mammogram. These people up front have really bad professional ways. If I didn't cancel my appt at least 24 hrs prior they would have charged me $50 dollars. I'm very unhappy and disappointed w the way I am being treated. Now they are whispering and laughing and I am still waiting. They make the mistake and I suffer w their bad customer service. Things have changed here. The attitude is , if you don't like it, go somewhere else. I'm listening to how they talk to elder folks as I stand here and it's not nice.
