They did a beautiful job in my neighbor's home. But they sent their 'B' or 'C' team to do mine…read more Didn't get the specs right. Painter was a joke. Built the box out too far to mount the TV. The TV was supposed to be flush with the shelves, but he built the box flush and after the TV mount was added, it protrudes. The worst part was the installation of the electric fireplace. It was defective from the start. They sent people out from the fireplace store where they got it from. Multiple trips, but it still makes a grinding noise. The last time he came, he said the noise was "acceptable" - to him maybe. Not to me when I'm trying to read or when I have company and want to use it. It's embarrassing. The remote control had one button that wasn't working, so they gave me an "upgraded" remote model. So upgraded that you have to get up, stand in front of the fireplace and press 'on' multiple times. Ugh. The good part was that the designer came out three times to get the design right. She was great. But the team that came out to build? Nope.

The bunk bad is unique in that it only has 2 legs on front side and is screwed to studs on the wall on the opposite side. This design utilizes lesser space in this room. I gave him a photo from an online add. He sketched the bed frame, build it, and installed it a week later. I, then hired him to frame and install 2 heavy doors from HD. He had to frame an opening that was to wide for my barn door. I had a barn door install to isolate the living room from the rest of the house for a business space. Richard and his crew also installed a new exterior glass front door to allow more natural light to enter my living room. I loved the results! New espresso paint will go on the frame of barn door and exterior door soon! Thank you, Richard, for superior craftsmanship. The scope covered walls, ceilings, insulation, electrical, plumbing, AC, flooring installation, carpet, and paint, essentially half of our house. We got five bids for the job, and R&M came in lower than the other four. They did an excellent job on all of it. Ramiro was great to work with. On a job this large, things change and new issues come up along the way, and he was flexible with us every single time. There was also an insurance claim involved, which meant a lot of extra detail and documentation on top of the actual construction work. He gladly provided everything we needed, every time we asked, and never treated it as an inconvenience. That made a genuinely stressful process much easier to manage. Rafa, our project manager, was our day-to-day on site and was outstanding. He was attentive, there consistently, and always responsive when we had questions or added something to the punch list. He never made us feel like we were bothering him and stayed on top of the details all the way through closeout. We were displaced to an Airbnb during the rebuild, which means we trusted this crew in our home while we weren't there. Everyone was friendly, courteous, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. More than one crew member told us they just wanted to make sure it was done the right way, and you could see that in the finished work. They went above and beyond on everything we needed. We'll be using them again for our next project without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, a lot of the older homes in Phoenix do not have a garages. Jake came over the next day, after I called, and walked me through the process. At this time I wasn't really interested in this as my main concern was price. In todays day and age, this is the biggest driving factor. We walked through layout and dimensions, same as I did with the other four General contractors (one wasn't licensed) to make sure the bids were apples to apples. A few days later he provided a proposal which to my surprise was the most reasonable. We worked through a schedule and I was more than excited to get started (more so my wife than I). Wow, what can I say, he not only beat his own schedule but did an excellent job. I am a carpenter by trade and the quality of work in both carpentry and workmanship provided, exceeded what I have seen here in the valley. Long story short I ended up having him provide a bid for my bathroom remodel, which I did the demo myself to try to save some money.
