Have a project to install LVP flooring throughout my house. Hired Home Depot for the install which has been a bit of a pain to deal with (very long story). Towards end of flooring install, the contractor Home Depot uses noticed the concrete floors in two bathrooms were not level, had some high spots which affected the locking system of the LVP. Got the runaround from the flooring contractor and Home Depot. Chris responded quickly during peak Christmas holiday season and used leveling concrete to smooth out the high spots. I checked the floors after concrete dried and looked good-to-go for installer to finish what he started. Flooring guy came out on a Saturday, floors still had high spots. Chris came out quickly and sanded down the high spots. He showed me with a level that concrete is level for installer to return. I threw down some flooring to see if any high spots, didn't find any. Have flooring installers scheduled to come back again next week. I am confident in Chris's work, the flooring should install without issue. We'll see if these Home Depot contractors find another excuse to not finish their work, these people are something else to deal with. Chris pointed out some issues with the trim work they did which needs to be corrected. I totally recommend Chris if you need help with any projects. read more

We asked Chris for an estimate on custom ceiling beams, shiplap, and a laundry room project. From the phone call to set an appointment, the job estimate, to the completion of the job, Chris and his staff were professional, knowledgeable and punctual. Communication is key to a business and its customers, the staff at Sun Devil Handyman did a great job with appointment reminders, estimates, and payment through text and email. At this time, Chris and employees (Tyrone and Connor) hung custom wood beams (designed by Chris) and shiplap. The quality of work was excellent (great attention to detail) not to mention the clean up and how careful they were with our furniture and rugs (covering the items) as they worked around them. Adam come to our house, was patient as he listened to our ideas for repairs and gave us an estimate within two days. He updated our proposal when we made a few changes. Adam was great keeping us informed on the progress of ordering our materials and the proposed schedule to accomplish the work. Chris and Adam come to our house with all the available materials. They arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the work in one day. Some parts were not available, so they scheduled a return date to complete the work. They installed news doors and door frames and replaced old caulking in our bathrooms. Chris and Adam are excellent!! Great work ethics, superior construction knowledge and wonderful personalities. Chris did a great job for us. We had a slow water leak in a sink that ruined our vanity and adjoining walls to our pantry & a closet. The clean up had already been done when we were told about Sun Devil Handyman and that was the best referral we could have asked for. We contacted Skinner and Son about installing new kitchen countertops, farm sink, and backsplash. Chris, the owner, came to give us an estimate right away. We've had Chris do numerous jobs at our house. Always professional and on time. Sends reminders, and invoices for work completed. Very professional. It was a small ceramic tile job at the rear door entrance. The installer, Chris, did a wonderful job getting the tile just right, and his crew did an excellent job with the carpet meeting the tiled entrance.
