The nice gals there tried calling her and texting her but she didn't respond. I received a call from her at 11:30 and she advised me that she was having an allergic reaction to some gloves she wore and couldn't work. She wanted to send me proof and I told her no, but thanked her for calling me and hung up. Next thing you know, she's texting me pictures of her hand and telling me, "look what I'm dealing with," as though I should be more understanding toward her condition. While I do sympathize with her, it is unprofessional to accept appointments if you're not going to show up, especially when your client lives an hour away! I will never recommend Laura to anyone, but would gladly recommend her coworkers! They were awesome!

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a hair salon…read more DO NOT LET GINA OR TAMI TOUCH YOU. I went in for a simple highlight touch up. I should have been alarmed when Tami was telling Gina what to do when she was putting the color foils in my hair, and didn't know how to mix the color but I figured that Tami knew what she was doing and they surely wouldn't let someone do hair that didn't know how to. When it had finished processing and I had been blown dry I couldn't tell a difference from when I came in other than my blonde was now yellow and brassy. I still had the same amount of roots in my hair that were now more pronounced because they had changed color. Gina didn't tone my hair at all after either. She also mentioned that it probably messed up because I wasn't Mexican. That she had only done Mexican people's hair. Since I wasn't pleased Tami came over and said that she saw the problem and could fix it. I trusted her because I saw the woman before me leave that she had colored and it looked fine. Once she finished she dried my hair and turned me around. I was platinum blonde with orange hues. I have never cried so hard in my life. She said she thought it looked great. All I wanted was a touch up on my highlight. They turned me entirely platinum blonde. I ran out of there crying and went to go see the manager Joanne at their sister salon elements on Peggy road. When I got there she told me how sorry she was and offered to fix it right then. She mentioned that Gina was brand new that she had never let her do color before and she didn't know what she was thinking. I told her about the comment she made about the fact that I wasn't Mexican and she seemed to be extremely embarrassed. All she could do for me was put some toner on it and make me brunette until the following weekend because she wanted to let my hair rest. It made sense to me so I said okay. Feeling a little bit better with an appointment set for the following Saturday, I went home with brown hair, not at all what I wanted, but I didn't look like a circus person. Saturday came and on my way to my appointment I got a call from the salon cancelling my appointment because they decided to take another client instead. Didn't ask me to reschedule just said that I could not get in. This was 30 minutes before my appointment. I just waited and went to my usual girl here in Wisconsin. I will never go to another salon in New Mexico. Extremely unprofessional and just terrible stylists. Go at your own risk. Message me for before and after pictures.
