I'm 43 with a bald spot. Every barber a go to just shaves my head and end up looking like a balding man with a buzz cut. They say it's my only option unless I want to pay about 10K for hair plugs. -5 months ago, I sat in Ramsey's chair. I don't what he did, but somehow he hid the bald spot using the length of my surrounding hair. I really don't know how he did it. Wonderful experience! I took advantage of the Yelp deal for my first visit, and it was a great one! I made an appointment ahead of time, and when I walked in, Suzanne greeted me by name, seated me right away, and offered me a cold beer. Suzanne was charming, attentive, and extremely thorough. Towards the end she could tell I saw something I wasn't 100% satisfied about with my hair; she called me out on it and fixed it without a second of hesitation. I was in town for my wedding last weekend but didn't know of any barbers. My best man also wanted a cut and beard trim. I found Erik on Instagram and began to message him about appointments, I booked online for a couple days after and it was very easy. On the day of, I walked in with my best man, we were offered drinks while waited. Erik even has his own room within the shop itself. I was able to get hooked up for my wedding no problem! It came out just like I wanted, fresh fade. While cutting my hair Erik spoke to the owner Suzanne when she walked in who also does hair/facials and we were able to get my best hooked up with a barber to get a cut and beard trim! I ended up needing to find a new place to get my haircut because Winston's Barbershop at the Oaks Mall closed up. I saw some positive reviews of The Razor's Edge on Yelp, and with the Yelp deal for new customers, it seemed like a no brainer. This is a lovely small business (and I do mean small, which you'll get when you visit) and, in short, I've found my new barbershop. My stylist, Suzanne, greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. She was incredibly friendly and, perhaps more importantly, she gave me one of the best styled haircuts I've had. I always have trouble describing what I want, but Suzanne seemed to understand what I was saying. I was really pleased with how my hair looked by the end of the session. I came in for a beard trim and honestly, it exceeded my expectations! A little pricey but the quality shows. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I could tell my barber is too! Great experience, knowledgeable and friendly barbers, and a really great price with the Yelp deal. Highly recommended. I must admit, I've always been a cheapskate when it comes to haircuts. My hair grows ridiculously fast, and it never listens to me no matter how much I try to coerce it to. I used to frequent a haircut place owned by a really friendly Vietnamese family, and the price was $6 a cut. So, meager beginnings. But after moving to Camarillo from up north, I needed a new barber. And I learned the hard way that no hair cut in SoCal is ever gonna be as cheap as those in NorCal -- just not gonna happen. But when I stumbled up Razor's Edge, and saw that awesome yelp deal, it was a no-brainer. Instead of paying full price $25, the yelp deal brings it down to $12 (for new customers). I was lucky enough to be able to walk-in as she had an opening, but usually you should at least call-in the day before to make an appointment, if you can. My barber was Suzanne, the owner. She's incredibly friendly and really helped me learn how to tame my hair. She offered me a beer or water, and let me control the TV (which had DirecTV, by the by), which is pretty awesome. Free beers don't just appear out of nowhere. The cut was quick and accurate. Being that I'm only used to quick "get in, get out, don't say a word" barber shops, this was much different. She actually washed my hair, utilizing the whole hair salon sink thing. It was awesome, I felt like royalty haha. She even straight-edge cut my sideburns and my neck, which was really nice too. Nothing like hot shaving cream to get the job done. She was very friendly, and we had good conversation. All in all, Razor's Edge is a great barbershop. Was looking for a barber in the area and found Razor's Edge here on Yelp. Nedra was friendly and definitely knew her stuff when dealing with my hair and beard. I have a somewhat difficult head of hair, but her cut looks great and she gave me some good recommendations for product and styling techniques. In addition to to good-looking haircut, the price was right on the money. $25 for a cut and shampoo, with a little touch up on my beard thrown in as well. Nedra also told me that beard/neck trims are free if you stop by between haircuts for a touch-up. Just a heads up: I saw a notice on Nedra's mirror that says prices will be going up $5 due to an increase in rent starting November 1. So come in before then to get the good price! read more

This is my go to barber shop. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. The shop is a small but full of welcoming smiles and talent. The Barber Ramsey, is really friendly and sharp. He knows how to make you feel comfortable and get you the look you want! Just bring him a picture of a look want and he will make it happen. He is always trying his best to accommodate anyone and everything. Ramsey blocked out the whole half of a day to have my groomsmen and I cleaned up for my wedding. Airik is BY FAR the BEST barber out here! Not just at this barber shop but in the area...period. My 10 year old son has been getting his haircut with him for 3 years now. I am VERY picky about my son's haircuts... Airik always listens to my concerns and my son's cut is always perfect! My son has had many different styles since he's been to his shop. His fade, edge-up, and designs are on point every time! As a mom, I also appreciate that he considers the type of music he plays when my son is there. Unfortunately, I have been to other barber shops where the barber can care less of the music he's playing (inappropriate as it may be for young ears). This place is great! I grew up here in Thousand Oaks but I now live in San Diego and needed a place to get my haircut while visiting for the holidays. I typically go to a great place in San Diego called "Lefty's" and was bummed, at first, to have to go somewhere new while visiting. HOWEVER, this place was incredible! The shop is very small but very comfortable. The lady who cut my hair did and great job and was extremely friendly. The quality of the cut was so good, in fact, that my girlfriend liked my cut more than when my regular barber does it. Just wondering, I've seen positive reviews for your other barbers, but where are the positive reviews for the barber that I had? It's insane that you think you are open to working with anyone who writes a negative comment or criticizes you in any way. Have you seen how you respond to negative posts or even interacted with anyone who has anything negative to say about you. You wanted to charge me a full haircut for a neck line cleanup and believe that I needed 2 haircuts within a week. That's very greedy and ridiculous!
