Tried to call Suzanne the shop owner to express concerns about a poor haircut. I left my number and she never returned my call, and we have not had any conversation. However, in her response, she said we did, and made up a comment from me. It didn't happen! I don't usually use Yelp, because I feel it is more important for owners and managers to deal with dissatisfied customers. However, when the owner doesn't show the courtesy of a returned call, or dishonestly reports facts it shows little or no respect for customers. read more

I bought a voucher through Conejo Deals for the Razor's Edge. Compared to most other men's barber shops in Thousand Oaks, this is a decent place to grab a haircut. The establishment is very small and a little on the pricey side. They do provide excellent hair cuts, but the atmosphere just isn't up to par. Ramsey has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years now. His haircuts are fantastic. He can give the most stylish, cutting edge haircuts, and gives me my usual (more boring/business) haircut just as well. He is talented, friendly, polite, and goes the extra mile to make sure you're satisfied. The one time my hair did not turn out exactly how I wanted it (bc I failed to express how I wanted it), Ramsey happily cut it again 2 weeks later for free, and when I tried to at least tip him, he refused. It was a huge statement about his integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. I went through a lot of barbers before I found Ramsey, who gives great haircuts for a reasonable price. Suzanne is amazing, too. She has been cutting my kids' hair for a few months now. She's highly skilled, kind, and patient with them. My young boys feel completely at ease with her, and they love watching TV while in her chair. The Razor's Edge shop itself is great, too. It's very small, but not claustrophobic.
