I just wanted to take a moment to say how good these people are. I have been with RB Brown since I moved back to Kentucky I think in 2003, I have had several insurance companies through the years between Kentucky, Florida and Texas. I have stayed with RB Brown not only because I find that State Farm has been the best quality insurance I have had but because of the people. I have had the same agent since I started who has always been of great help in many matters, at the same time when she wasn't available the person that has answered the phone has always been able to help. there have even been times when RB has called me to check on something that I have asked about before or wanted to check and make sure I got what I needed. I have never been handed off to five or six people because someone didn't know the answer, they always stopped and found it. one of the other reviews stated that they remember who he is when he calls, I can attest to that as well. I generally go months without having to call their office for anything but when the same person you talked to remembers things you talked about the last time, you don't feel like a number and they have always been ready to help. RB Brown has put together a fantastic group of people and although you may find insurance that may cheaper, you will not find a better agent or people to work for you. Junior H read more

I've been with RB's ever since I registered my car in Kentucky. I usually deal with Cecilia, and she's been nothing short of wonderful. She always remembers who I am when I call with a question or problem. I had a wreck back in May and had some medical bills and wound up getting my car totalled out. It seemed like I called every couple of days for a few weeks with a question or concern, or needing them to run interference for me with State Farm's claims office in TN, and they were always there to talk. I've never felt like a number or a dollar sign when I've called or stopped by. I liked the service I got from them so much, my girlfriend switched her car insurance from KY Farm Bureau to State Farm, and actually got a better rate too. I've steered a couple of people to them as well, and they've all been happy with the service they get. I'm only taking away a star because I'll get autodialer calls from them every now and then for some sort of promotion or new financial product they're running. But, if a real person's calling, they call the office, I just let all of their calls on my cell phone go to voicemail. It's not a really big deal, and I realize it's a marketing tool for them, but it's slightly annoying. read more

Here's a follow up to my Thumbs Up review for RB Brown and his team at State Farm: Our car was totally destroyed in a freak accident in a parking lot last year. The offender's insurance agency declined to settle, citing an obscure technical legal point. State Farm came through for us straightaway. We paid our $500 deductible, got a fair settlement and moved on. State Farm, unfortunately, was out the money that should have been paid by the other party. Fast forward a few months later: I get a check refunding my $500 deductible! WOOHOO! It turns out State Farm's team was busy behind the scenes doing their legal thing and forced the other party to pay up! Which is only fair, considering the circumstances. The bottom line is, if you want the personal touch, get your insurance from a person with a team of real people who care. I don't know that I would have gotten this kind of consideration from a website or an app. Great job, RB Brown and State Farm! read more

I've been with RB Brown and State Farm for as long as I've lived in Kentucky. His office has always been a joy to work with, very helpful, and as friendly as could be. I've worked with many individuals within that office and they have always been there to assist me with the right kind of coverage when life's big changes occur, such as life insurance for a growing family, rental insurance, a new home, multiple cars, refinancing a vehicle loan and opening a credit card through the State Farm Bank. They're there when disaster strikes, too! I had to make a claim on my leaky roof a few years back that did some damage to my ceiling and the employees within RB's office were timely, helpful, understanding, and attentive to my needs and inexperience in such matters. I would definitely recommend RB Brown State Farm for anyone with insurance needs. read more
