NEVER ceases to amaze me. Just what a small local bike shop (LBS) can offer. A homey enviroment where a client feels more like a friend, than someone who's just going to buy something. Definitely not the mega store, but was not looking for that anyway. They are just what the doctor ordered, a store were they remembered my name the third time I walked in. Not to mention the abounding knowlegde they have of bikes and cycling. Customer Service and mechanical attention should be the back bone for any bike shop, not prices. Luckily this bike shop has all three. Exceptional customer service, a great mechanic, and very good prices. This is rare in a bike shop because either they're so big were there prices are good due to the volume they sell, but have a lack of customer service because they're concentrated on just selling you something, ANYTHING. Or so small that they have to bump up prices in order to make ends meet. These stores usually have good customer service but I will steer clear because of inflated prices, due to lower volume of sales. Can't say that here, customer service is great. They take the time to analye me and tell me exactly what I need, if in case I need anything. There have been times were they have simply told me that I dont need anything and dont have to spend the money on that. That demonstates their honesty, exemplary customer service, and knowledge of cycling, weather it be road or mountain . I can consider Jose and Chris friends for actions like those; and as a plus they know my name! Woohoo! Mechanics in a bike shop are as important as customer srevice. I have not returned to a couple of bike shops because of poor mechanical attention. After dealing with Frank (their mechanic) I can say that no one else will touch my bike. A witty and comical mechanic that will simply get the job done, and stay done. Another character who will simply tell you if you even need anything or not. He is the type of mechanic that will explain and show things to me as he is working on them to clarify the situation. I have had issues with my bike were other bike shops have attempted to fix and failed and with Frank, have never had a problem again. Plus I think he was a comedian in his past life, he is certainly a comical fellow or per say the show of the store. Also trates that keep me going back and calling him a friend. In conclusion I can recommend RB cycles of doral to anyone. Weather it be friendly customer service, prices, or a comically savy mechanic, they are an allaround store anyone can go to. This review is from my wife and I, mountain bikers and a road cyclist for over 12 yeas now. I have visited many of the Miami area bike shops over the years. I have sean many changes in our local bicycles shops community, new shops, some close (bikes USA), some sold, some reinvent themselves, some moved, and the few BEST SHOPs still around, RB CYCLES They take care of your customer consistently and have done so for many years in a timely, respectable, professional, friendly manner! RB CYCLES has been around for many year taking care of their customers, with competitive prices, friendly relax atmosphere. They are not pushy sales driven people. They will not sale you something you don't really need. They have always advised my wife and I on the best, cost effective solution based on our needs. In my opinion RB CYCLES has one of the best bicycle repairs mechanic in town. They are also cyclist. My wife and I, trust their work and have never been disappointed. For cleaning, upgrading, replacing and adjusting, the work is always perfect. My wife and I are always very happy with the work and their prices. This review is long overdue. I am basing this on the many years of experience as a customer, and not just on a single moment or a short visit. To the very few negatives reviews here, all I can say is, there are always 2 sides of the stories, and a short negative moment does not determine the future of a good business. Reality is, you cant make everyone happy all the time. It is all about how, in a daily bases, they can learned from customers feedback and grow forward in a positive manner that determines that future. In this case, a perfect example is RB CYCLES! I started coming to RB in 2006 I believe and at the time I had visited every single bike shop in Miami. I had a bike that I bought online and i was hoping to find a good shop to help me with accessories parts and maintenance. I was not looking of rthe megastore, I wanted a Local Bike Shop LBS, in every sense. I met Chris and immediately I could tell he knew Mountain Biking, I got a good answer for almost all questions and what he did not know he said he would find out. Anyone who says they know it all, is lieing! I later met Jose a great road cyclist and mountain biker, he was equally nice and I was able to create customer relationship with these guys as well as a freindship because that is how they start treating you in a very short while. Since 2007, I have been riding quite seriously and have always had their full support, whether it be closing time and I need a tube or a levy ride to markham at 6AM with the two of them and other customers. They helped me prepare my bike for Leadville as well as many other state events and I have very rarely had to come back twice for the same issue. Frank, the mechanic is a good mechanic with an unconventional way of doing his work. I mean unconventional because he will always keep you rolling right but he may arrive at his conclusions in his own manner. Just bend a wheel bring him some cuban coffe and step back and watch him true it for you, he takes pride in his ability and I have not been let down yet. I went to RB Cycles for a tune-up of my bycke that i haven't use for a couple of years. I came in to the store, went to the counter , 2 guys were chatting over the phone so I waited for them to finish. I explained what i need and what I want. We went to my car to see the byke and one of them said, you need the $49.99 maintenance. I was very clear whent I told them I need the rust of one of the wheels to be cleaned. He said no porblem it will be done but some spot will remained. 2 weeks later (June 10) I went to pick it up and I found out that they did not cleaned the wheel, nor grease the chains,etc...... they started giving explanations of why not and bla,bla,bla... Christian who was in the counter was the most anti-customer person. Always in a bad aptitude and without any care for what he does in there. I WOULD NEVER RETURN to this PLACE. I went ther because it is close to my place but I regret it and I would not mind driving further for sure the next time. Also be careful with pricing in there. I got a byke rack for 3 bykes for $49.99 with free shipping in Target when he offered the same o very similar for $130.00 + taxes....... OJO read more

Back in 2007, a friend I was training with recommended I check out RB Cycles. Soon after being introduced to Jose, Chris, and Frank, RB quickly became my LBS and has been for the past 3 years. And all I can say is, what a great group of guys! They're friendly, knowledgeable, and have always been helpful with any questions I've had. I'd like to mention how especially helpful Jose was when he helped me warranty a broken frame! Chris is a great motivator and was also a great help when I needed to warranty a wheel! Frank the mechanic is fun to chat with and has done excellent work on a couple of builds, and also did a great job packing a couple of my bikes for shipping and travel! When I first walked into the shop these guys immediately made me feel comfortable, they soon welcomed me as a friend and have never let me down! It's nice to just be able to stop by and say hi to the guys, talk shop about the latest bikes and gear, and not feel pressured. I did my research before going to different shops to buy my bike, and I was extremely surprised that at most stores I knew more about the bike than the shops did. But at RB Cycles in Doral, not only did Chris know his stuff, but his approach to selling was excellent. I hate pressure tactics or the "I know what's good for you more than you do" approach. Chris listened to what I was looking for in a bike, and his advice was extremely helpful. He actually talked me out of buying a more expensive tri-bike until I decided I wanted to more triathlons than road races. I am glad I listened because that is exactly what I ended up deciding to do. So I saved money and now recommend RB to anyone that will listen. read more

This is the worst bike shop I have ever dealt with. Here are my two encounters with them: I left my bike there to get new cables on a Monday and was told it would be ready by Wednesday. I was busy and only stopped by to pick it up on Friday. Guess what, the bike was still sitting there, untouched. I took it back home and did the job myself. On the other encounter they ripped me off. I needed a special nut for my seatpost that Cervelo sells on their website for $0.20. They charged me $10 for it. I also ordered the same part at City Bikes in Aventura and they didn't even charge me... I never bought a bike from them (never will) but I would not expect to get different treatment. read more

Started shopping there in Feb of 2009, Jose and Chris know there bikes and love helping people finding the right bike. I am now buying my 3rd bike from them (Superfly 100) its on order. I have done several group rides with them, they try to get people to ride more and more. I know when I am having some bike problem Frank wont let me down.. His english might be bad but he know bikes!!! I can only say good things about the guys thier.... I live closer to the UM store but spend most of my time at the Doral shop.. The UM shop is also very well staffed but the relationship I have built with the Doral crew can not be beat. read more

A great shop with fantastic staff. I have been there two times in the last two years when I come for vacations and they always have been friendly and help me out with my problems. Recently they repair my tubeless setup in ten minutes and put me back on the road before than I expected. They are also well stocked with spares, bikes, and all the extras for your bike. Hands down to the best bicycle store in Miami. They have a great variety of the best bicycle brands and the staff was super friendly.
