Again I was assisted quickly and cheerfully and he would not accept any payment.

My mother needed help with padding on the handles of her walker, which are the same size as bicycle…read morehandles. They helped pick out padded covers and they changed out the old ones. When that wasn't enough they helped choose and install a layer of handlebar tape. All in maybe an hour of cheerful service for no charge. Great people.

Hate to write this review but I had the worst experience at this bike shop. Which absolutely sucks…read morebecause I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.

I discovered this bike shop early on in the pandemic apocalypse... I realized that both of my bike…read moretires were flat and with all the gyms closed, biking likely would be my only form of exercise for potentially a long period of time. The people who work here are very nice and professional. They offer very reasonable prices and do not rip you off or sell you things you don't need. Also worth mentioning if you're like me and don't speak Spanish... they are perfectly bilingual. The repair guy was great, helped me get the bike out of and back into my SUV.

Formerly loyal customer and happy patron. I will no longer support this business. I took my bike in…read morefor a rear flat tire on Wednesday and had to return again on Thursday with the same problem. The technician failed to check the outside tire upon my first visit and simply replaced the inner tube. The following issues occurred during my second trip: (1) My second trip to the bike shop could have been avoided if he had simply checked the outside tire for sharp objects. (2) He tried to charge me for having to replace the inner tube again even though I had purchased a new inner tube the previous day, and the punctured inner tube was due to his error. (3) He placed my bike on the ground with the rear tire off which placed the weight of the bike on the rear components (chain, derailleur, etc.)... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER have I ever seen this in my 20 years of biking!! (4) The technician installed a tire stem that did not match the previous one nor the front tire. He only replaced it after I noticed the error. (5) He did not put a tire cap on the new wheel. (6) Technician did not have a tire pressure gauge and did not fill tire to the specifications listed on the tire until I requested and provided a tire pressure gauge for him to use. Obviously, I will not be returning, which is unfortunate, because the previous technician who worked there was very skilled and professional.

Summary: This is a tricky one because I like the services…read morethey provide, and so far their products have been of a good quality, the staff is professional and helpful, but still I feel they are missing that personal relationship you need to have with your bike's "doctors". Technically they have done a great job every time, but personally I feel there's something missing. The Experience: I had a bike, I had my go-to bike shop, but after my bike got old enough to require more money in fixes and repair than what a new one would have cost, I decided to get a new one... almost two years ago, mid pandemic... when bike inventories were low, prices were climbing, and wait times were forever. My regular bike shop was out of models within what I was looking for... so I shopped around and ended up choosing one from Cycle World. I bought an Hybrid Giant Cypress. The salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, and the store worked with me with a new store credit card. I returned for the first "free" tune up, but a few months later I returned to my regular bike shop for the next tuning, for no other reason than I already have an established relationship with them and they are close to my job so it's easier to get around there. Then I started using my bike a lot more than the previous one, so I started needing more stuff and started working more often from home, so I ended up trying several stores/shops, mainly depending on where I was at the moment I needed something, including returning to Cycle World a couple of times. So far, they've had everything I've needed, and their work has been impeccable, they are helpful, they explain well, the store is organized and easy to navigate... the prices are within the average (well, there are a couple of things on the expensive side, but then again, there are also some good offers)... However, I like to have the more personal treatment I used to have... Other than that, I do recommend Cycle World 100%.

Zero stars I thought i was considered a customer of this…read moreplace given the fact i bought my first brand new bike here 3 months and some days ago, every business i know their goal is to keep the customers coming , apparently thats not the case with the general manager that gave me the run around told me he was going to call me and never called me as well as the sales manager manuel , that not only wasn't very informative about maintenance prices for another preowned bike that i got , which i understand if the sales manager does not really know no big deal just ask and call me back but not even he just gave me rough prices and started telling me that the chain might need replacement the bearings this and that without really addressing the main question and on top of that knowing that i got the first bike brand new 3 months ago for $850 from there i was trying to give them that bike i got from them as store credit meaning whatever they give me (ofc not what i paid for it but at least decent money) i was going to spend every cent of store credit on maintenance for other pre owned bike i got and maybe some accessories and the sales manager manuel tells me he can give me $200 store credit its even disrespectful knowing i got the bike from there for $850 and knowing i was planing to spend everything and more money on accessories and maintenance , i definitely wouldn't recommend this place to nobody they just smile when you buy an overpriced bike and when you need maintenance or anything else youre simply thrown aside go to market place he said or to another place.. incredible
