Don't bother shopping here. I try to support local when I can but they won't help you because they want to protect their bottom line. I went in to try and exchange a $30 bike lock that I never used. I brought the receipt expecting a simple exchange and instead was met with a young man with an Afro and a middle aged woman with black hair that told me they couldn't help because it did not have the cardboard backing with the barcode on it. They refused, saying no one would buy it and it was their management that told them this rule and refused to help. I could have gone to any big box store and would have received better service and care. Unfortunately, I will never come back here again even though I was looking to get a bike fitting and considering their services even though it's $250. I'm looking somewhere else! read more

Hate to write this review but I had the worst experience at this bike shop. Which absolutely sucks because I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one. read more

I ordered a bike tire online and received a tire with the correct paper tag but the size on the sidewall of the tire was different size. I e-mailed them several times each time taking several days for them to respond. They agreed to send a shipping label to me so I could return for full refund. I never received label and they kept saying check your spam folder. I kept saying it's not in my spam e-mail. They said they are unable to e-mail the return label as an attachment as it's auto generated. I would never buy from them again. read more

My mother needed help with padding on the handles of her walker, which are the same size as bicycle handles. They helped pick out padded covers and they changed out the old ones. When that wasn't enough they helped choose and install a layer of handlebar tape. All in maybe an hour of cheerful service for no charge. Great people. read more

Recently I needed a new pair of running shoes and my trainer at OTF suggestd No Boundaries. I had seen the store a bunch, but didn't realize they sold shoes in addition to biking gear, outdoor gear, you know all the good athletic things! Mic was the employee who helped me and he was so nice! I let him know that I was in the market for new shoes, and the last time I was super happy with my shoes they were the New Balance 1080 with the foam. They had those there, but he suggested the Hoka. If you're looking for a shoe with a ton of support and cushion - look no further than the Hoka Bondi. I put them on and instantly felt the difference from my shoes I had been wearing. It was like going from coach to first class, but for my feet. The shoes have been great and I really enjoyed my visit to No Boundaries. I have a lot to say about this store. I bought many products from then 2 very expensive bikes, helmets , jerseys, shorts, shoes. I keep coming back because of their selection. They do have a very consistent problem though, their customer service needs serious attention. As I said, I gave the store multiple chances to make it right but unfortunately I had bad to worse experience. Once I bought knee protection gear (Troy lee design), got home and realized they were broken, took them back to the store and they said they needed to send them back and I was to receive the refund after the return was approved. It took two months for them to tell me that the factory didn't approve the return. I also bought a TMB, a $5k bike. After a month I took it for maintenance, I left it for a week and they didn't do anything, I had to go back 3 times to get the bike tuned up. After riding the bike for a few times I had a small issue with one of the shocks, they could it repair it. I had to take it somewhere else Lastly. The way they treat their employees lacks professionalism. In may occasions Mic (one of their associates) help me get the right gear, it was extremely uncomfortable to see how he was bullied by his peers. I am now looking for many items as my family and I are going for a hiking week, I know this store has everything I need but I don't feel comfortable doing business with them read more

I got an used bike couple of years back and it never felt quite right. I've taken it to a shop near my home, and they return it more or less the same way I give it to them, so I just assumed the bike had suffered enough in its life, so I could only demand so much. I Was Wroooooong. I asked around and someone I trust spoke highly of this place, so I brought the bike and left it there. At first, I felt it was kind of expensive, but you get what you pay for. Now, it is still an old bike, but the improvement was felt nevertheless. Gears started working, the chain was tight again, it took me a lot less effort to ride. Also, the staff seems to know what they're talking about, and they don't try to trick you into buying stuff you don't need. For example, my brakes make an awful noise when I break and I asked them about it. They could've sold me new ones, but instead they explained that, other than the sound, those breaks are still in good shape, they offer better quality ones for $10 each, but it is my choice. or the time. A few weeks later I felland broke my tail light (don't ask how, but it was just me stupidly thinking Miami drivers actually know how to drive. On the flip-side: yes, my breaks work beautifully!) . they have quite a few expensive ones (well, more expensive than my budget that week), and they told me to come back the next day and there they had a cheaper one I could buy [however, I may point out that the expensive ones worth the difference, I was just a bit top short, and I couldn't wait, otherwise I would've probably bought the other light... though if I'm being honest, the more expensive one is cheaper on amazon, but you don't get the in-person customer service in amazon.com]. Then a month or so passed, and they call me to do a follow up and remind me to do another tune up. I didn't recognize the phone number, so I let it go to voice mail and they left a message. Short, to the point, enough to let me know they're there, not so much that they drive me away. I'm honestly happy with the service at No Boundaries and I expect to keep taking my bike there for my every need. read more

I would suggest going anywhere else in Miami than to this "business". I took my bike once to fix my pedal and when I asked what they think the issue is, they just told me my bike is cheap. No explanation as to what could've actually caused the problem. A few months later I took my bike for a flat tire and 20 minutes after leaving the store my tire was flat again. I didn't ride the bike I just took it home on my bike rack. I took it back the next day to see if they could see what the issue is. They "fixed" it and the same thing happened again. When I asked what could be the problem, again no explanation, they just shrugged their shoulders and said "idk". Their customer service is horrendous and they show the most "I could care less" attitude I've ever experienced. Don't waste your time or money. read more

They sell lots of sport equipment, shoes, accessories, camping equipment, you name it, sport related.... it will be here. You can get a tennis shoe measurement... and get assessment as to which tennis shoe will work better for your foot, because of arch support, pronation, etc. Definitely check them out..! it's worth your effort, super friendly service! read more

I dropped into this store on a whim when I remembered the reflector on the back wheel of my bicycle had snapped off a while back. I tried to look online to buy one but was unsure what the right piece was. I asked one of the staff if they sold them and he said no, but that they probably had some in the back and would just give me one. He headed to the back to look for me and came back with exactly what my bike needed. I didn't have my bike with me at the time but he explained to me that it was easy to install and I left with what I needed for free. I installed it with ease at home. Glad that I decided to pop in here. A good reminder to shop local, as you'll get personal attention that you can't get from a website. Yes I been at your store in 2019 for a new tire. I came back for a tune up, new cables on Febuary 16 2020 before everything was closed down. I paid 96. 81 on my credit card. The job was not done right. I still have no brakes on my right side that is why I came in for tune up and new cables. Do you want me to post a copy of the charge on my card? I would not lie about something like this. This is not something to lie about. I called the store a few days ago and one of the employees wanted me to change the review to a good one then come to the store and pay again for the technician to redo the job he did. The virus is very bad where I live. I would of came back a lot sooner but lots of other problems occurred due to the virus. I think maybe I should contact the credit card company about this matter I spent 96.81 on Febuary 16, 2020 you need to look into your records better. Everyone in my neighborhood wants to know where I got the tune up and new cables. I tell the trust. I can not lie for you nor your store and give you a good review before coming in your store. This past Fall, Nicole and I planned a trip together to run and bike the entire span of the Great Allegheny Passage (approximately 150 miles of rails that were converted to trials) over one weekend---we alternated on the bike and ran one hour intervals. Nicole's bike was in desperate need of a tune up and several upgrades were also needed to make her bike the ultimate support vehicle for this adventure. I bought my bike online and took my bike to have its front and rear gears adjusted. I rode the bike the same day and even the next in long distances. Everything was working perfectly. A few days later I rode my bike again and the chain and gears kept acting up. I could not ride the bike. I go back and take my bike that was adjusted by their mechanic and explain the problem. I was told it's not the mechanics fault but the bikes fault. On top of that, they said it would take 2 weeks to change to adjust the gears. It sucks the customer service provided due to the fact that my bike adjustment wasn't done properly and then I have to wait due to something that wasn't done correctly. Customer and recommendations to this place def in the trash Coral way bike shop, took me in as a new customer and is fixing my bike today and no wait for a 2 week period. Go to them.! read more

Left my bicycle for getting front tire fixed. The employee said it will get fixed by the evening . They suggested to do a tune up, but they said it will take two days. I said ok. I'm coming back to pick it up two days later. And guess what - they forgot to fix it. I have no car. All I have is a bike. So I had to spent a lot of money on Uber. I wasted my time and money. I suggested that in order for them to cover up for their mistake they should do the tune up for free. They said they won't do it. Don't go to this place, people. Waste of your money and time. I stopped by no boundaries a few months ago when my bicycle's tire went flat. I could have changed the tube myself but I was feeling extra lazy. I was expecting the get shafted since it's in the middle of the gables but no, the prices seemed really fair! At the time the rate for a tube change was $6 for the 27.5" tube and $6 for labor. I brought the wheel by itself which may or may not affect pricing. While the mechanic did his thing I took a look around the store. They have a bunch of quality name brand stuff. Prices seemed fair for retail on this stuff too. They even have a sale / clearance table. I was seriously shocked that there wasn't a 200% markup lol. You might be able to find metered parking within 2 blocks. If not then the building has it's own payed garage; garage entrance to the west of the storefront. If you're here for servicing that'll take a while, there a plenty of stores or coffee and tea shops within walking distance. You can easily kill a few hours in the area. The tube change didn't take too long. Maybe 30-40 minutes. I'll definitely be checking with No Boundaries for any future bicycle needs. read more

Knowledgeable and helpful. They never try to upsell, only to explain what fix your bike needs or doesn't need. They make any necessary repairs without much fuss or delay. I once wondered aloud whether it was time for me to buy a new bike. They had plenty there to sell me. The employee I was talking with was working on my bike. He shrugged and said, "Why? This is in good shape." Their prices on repairs are reasonable. If the issue turns out to be minor and they can fix it with a twist of a wrench in a second, they might not even charge. From our initial conversation, I could tell that he was a true professional and very knowledgeable about bikes. I bought a bike following Chris's advise, made an appointment and took the bike in for service and upgrades some days later. From day 1, Chris was extremely helpful and took very good care of me as a client. The place carries all types of bikes, accessories and biking gear, lots to choose from. They also follow COVID-19 protocols by wearing masks, offering hand sanitizer and practicing social distancing guidelines. Now this is an excellent bike shop! I had a friend come in to have her tires checked/may be the inner tube replaced. The staff immediately recognized her bike was really special (vintage schwinn) and they advised her to get a tune up. They were professional and expertly described what the tune up entails. The guy who helped us also developed a crush on her bike. You can tell this shop is a labor of love. We came to pick up the bike and as promised the bike was tuned up and looked so much better! My sister also joined us to rent a bike from here (I believe ~30-35$ for 24 hr rental.) They supplied her with a helmet with a light as well. They told us to please be safe during our Critical Mass ride. The rented bike was a hybrid that rode like a dream by sister considered buying it (decided against it since she spends most of her time outside of Miami.) Theyre located in the heart of Coral Gables, just down the street from the Colombian consulate. There is plenty of street parking and a parking garage next door. If youre looking for a place to buy/rent a bike, get a tune up, or get some expert advice on bikes I definitely recommend this place. Thank you for the outstanding service! read more

I called in at the end of the day almost at them closing the next day since no one had even gone as far as calling me to let me know what was going on. Their response was didn't even know. Last year I was looking for a bike and went to two other shops around town. We came here to "look around" and I ended up finding a bike I fell in love with! We ended up not buying it and when we went back it was sold, but they were able to order another one for me for no additional cost. The service here is top notch and these guys know their bikes. What I love about this place is they don't push you to buy anything. You can simply go and browse and you will still receive exceptional service. They let you ride the bikes around before buying, or even if you just want to test it and not necessarily buy at that moment. I have bought 2 bikes from them the last year and a half! Their prices range from a few couple hundred to bikes in the thousands depending on your budget and purpose for the bike. They have lots of accessories as well and other great gear. They also carry a huge line of inov8 for those who Crossfit. Definitely check them out next time you are looking for some new wheels- you will at least get sound advice and a good feel for what to buy! read more
