Is RC Willey great for everything? No. I don't think any store that tries to "do it all" is. BUT they are great at furniture. Our first purchase was at their old Lamb & Craig clearance location. We bought a microfiber dual reclining sectional. It was one of the most comfortable pieces of furniture in the house! Great price, warranty, and friendly sales person. A few years later we moved into a house with a smaller living room. So we decided to get a smaller sectional with only one recliner. This time we went to the Henderson location and, again, ended up buying something from the clearance section. Great price, warranty, and again a friendly sales person. For the past two weeks we have been bed shopping. We dealt with four different sales people at the Henderson location. One was nice, two were okay and one was friendly, knowledgeable and a total pleasure to work with. We purchased the bed frame from the regular part of the store but the mattress from the clearance section. (They have some brand new mattresses back there, so definitely check them out). Kim was the best. He answered all our questions, didn't try to "up sell" us on anything and just made the buying experience perfect. I bought a leather recliner in 2016. I paid $1,500 for the chair, and also had a 5-year warranty on the leather and the mechanism. In September of 2021, I called to report that some of the leather has worn out and that the mechanism had jammed. A tech came and unjammed the chair and said the mechanism, which was under warranty, needed to be replaced. Soon after, I got a call saying the fabric (aka Leather) was no longer available, and 50% would be refunded, and it was. Then two attempts were made to replace the mechanism, but the parts were not compatible. They kept telling me the parts were on the ship, in the harbor, on the way, etc. The parts never came, so after 14 months of calling, I told them I would not wait any longer. Then they told me they would refund the balance of the price that would be $800. After inquiring, I was told the refund would be decreased by the Military discount of $125 given and also a discount of $25 given at time of purchase. Then I got a call telling me the refund would be only $300 because I still had the chair. I told them to take the chair and give me the reduced balance of $637. Then I get a message saying they would pick up the chair on 12/31 between 7:15 and 9:15 AM. They showed up at 6:30 and woke me up to get the chair. Terrible customer service, and still waiting for the check. I value relationships, but I am done with RC Willey. I will never buy there again, and would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Bought an $800.00 plus leather chair at RC Willey LESS than THREE (3) Years ago. The leather color is wearing off on the arms with a large, ( size of a cantope) faded spot up on the back headrest. Very noticeable since it's dark brown. Apparently very, very poor quality.... Store will do nothing of course. I didn't buy an extended warranty.... ugh!! In the summer of 2015 I purchased a couch and chair from RCWilley. After a few months, the fabric became to peak and knots were everywhere in the furniture. I called the Service Dept. and a tech was sent to look at the fabric. His first comment was "Have you tried shaving it".... needless to say I was most surprised that they expected me to "shave" multiple furniture. I called again to RC Willey and another tech was sent to my home. He took photos and said it would be reviewed. Eventually the furniture was picked up and I was given a credit to purchase another set. I was not concerned at this point, because I have purchased nearly a houseful of furniture from RCWILLEY and had not had a problem. So, I chose another set, this time a leather sofa, chair and ottoman. And it was delivered in Mar 2016. About 4-5 months after purchase I noticed the edges around the ottoman was bright, bright red.... I thought I had damaged it by wiping it with the cleaner given to me by RCWilley at purchase. So, I was very very careful about rubbing any of the leather very hard. In about Aug 2017 I noticed the sofa looked the same so again I called the service dept and they sent a tech to my home. The tech used some sort of pen that he covered all of the red on the sofa. I asked him what it was, he did not reply so I asked him what to do if it started again. He told me to go to any shoe shop and by cherry colored shoe polish. I checked every shoe shop and could not find Cherry. So I was hoping it was fixed. Of course it wasn't. Then it got worse, again I called the service department and they said they could not help me because I did not purchase the long term warranty. I did not purchase it because my furniture very, very little as just me and my 21 yr old live here and she is rarely home. Howeve, after an evening of watching a movie, she sat in the right end of the sofa, a lot of the Stan came off. The photo included will show the damage from that one evening. After calling service, sales, corporate in Utah and sales here again, it was decided that the company will replace the 2 cushions for $788. Then the sales manager in Henderson said he would replace it but it would cost me approximately $3000. Needless to say, I declined the offer. I have not even had time to pay this one off!!! I am going to have to hire a professional upholstery company to restrain all of my furniture. And it is not cheap to do that, but I believe it to be the best alternative. Changing 2 cushions is so unfair. What about the 6 cushions and ottoman??? They have already begun to look terrible and the red is very apparent. This is the last time I will ever purchase anything from RC Willey and it has always been one of my favorite stores. I have bought clicks, kitchen sets, 2 mattresses and box springs, living room sets, and a bedroom set. RC Willey the first place (and only) place I have purchased furniture from for over 30 years. We are new customers of RC Willey and recently purchased wall to wall carpeting for two rooms. We chose a premium carpet and pad. During installation we realized there was a snafu of sorts with the color. It was not the color we thought we ordered. We called the flooring department and the manager Jan came on the phone and immediately agreed to have the right carpet ordered and re-installed. This was not like remaking a coffee at Starbucks, it was a costly change for them to make! She had the installers finish the job for safety reasons of the wrong carpet (which we also appreciated) and within a week they actually came back and pulled that one and installed the carpet we wanted. They easily could have put up a fuss that the order snafu was our fault or something. They did not. They took responsibility and for that they will always have a loyal customer. In an age when we're all seeking even just average to good service, they provided us with exceptional service. Our original associate Andrea was also very nice and easy to work with which also played a role in why we chose them in the first place. And Jan the Manager was exceptional. Recently I had a problem with a mattress, will the mattress guard that I also bought from them disintegrated and stain the mattress the store did not want to replace it so I wrote an email and got it replaced. The new mattress did not have any support on one side, so I had to get exchanged was at the store hoping to talk to a manager since I been having so many problems, but wasn't able to talk to a manager which I find so bizarre. So the movers come and do the exchange and commented we heard about all the mattresses you gone through, kind of made me feel uncomfortable because it wasn't my fault. I purchased a $1,500 lift chair with an extended warranty for my elderly mother from RC Willey in Elk Grove, CA. After three months, the heating element stopped working. We reported it to RC Willey and they told my mother that she can come in and select another chair. My elderly mother went to the store, and they sold her a chair that was less quality and cheaper than the first chair. The lift function in the second chair stopped working after two months, so now my mother (who needs the chair) has a non-functioning chair sitting in her living room. We went to the store and talked to two people: a shortish Hispanic woman and a manager named Liz. First, Liz promised to exchange the chair or refund the money for the chair. When we went to get a new chair, the store manager named Mike refused to honor the agreement we made with Liz. In addition, Mike was too afraid or timid to speak with us about the situation as he stayed in his office and refused to meet with us. I have been unable to reach Corporate Office...no one answers the phone in the Corporate Office, and I have left several messages. Cooperate Officers should be ashamed and embarrassed about how its employees treat customers. Maybe after writing this review, someone from the Corporate Office who can make decisions and enforce policies will contact me about this horrible situation that has been going on for the past six months and correct it. I went in here a few times to find a super soft comfy bed. Tuesday 9/19, I went in and bought the bed I'd tried a few times, also bought a bench. My sales person JR, filled out a sales order and gave it to the clerk for me to pay. I paid just over $2200. Bed to be delivered next day. They gave me a copy of sales order with my receipt. Next day deliverers showed up and were great! Super efficient and nice. Set everything up quickly. The bed didn't feel as soft as the store but I figured it was just unwrapped and maybe it needed to "fluff up" a bit. Nope This is now the following day. My husband and I slept so poorly, we were up most of the night. This bed is firm with a pillow top. Don't know where the error occurred: the facility, the wrong sku... no clue but this is NOT WHAT WE ORDERED! So, while I was up most of the night I looked at the invoice, still not sure about the sku but I realized our salesman added a mattress protector for $109.99 without asking me or discussing this. Merely adding a hidden additional expense is stealing to me. Oddly, when the delivery guy handed it to me I thought this was so cool, they tossed in a thank you gift!! Nope. I've sent a message to our salesman to remedy this situation and will update this review as I go along. But clearly, at this point I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! But 5 star express delivery gets a 5! Update: I returned the mattress cover and was refunded my money. I was very clear I felt this was stealing and not happy about it. Additionally, manager was very eager to rectify the mattress situation and the mattress is to be changed out on Friday this week (only because I am out of town). I sat on the replacement bed at the warehouse and while it's nowhere near as soft as floor model it is significantly softer than the previously delivered one. So, while I am thinking about it, I'd recommend people buy their mattresses from a bed store. The selection would be greater and I'd anticipate fewer issues. Update will continue once I'm back in town and receive my bed. Saga continues!! OM gosh... new bed delivered. What was ordered was a K-PPT Huntington extra soft. Delivered just now was a replacement a Chesapeake Bay luxury firm. Grrrrr. The movers asked if the could just leave it here instead of changing it out again and let customer service deal with it. If you are looking for something unique, different, more hip, then this is not the place for you. I recently ordered a Bosch dishwasher in November, which was not in stock. It is supposed to be in on December 23 and delivered on Fridays. The next two Fridays are on Christmas and New Year's Day, so let's see when they will deliver. They don't install. I bought it, because of price. This one goes out to you Camilla and Jan of the floor department and the idiotic estimator you guys sent to my front door. If you have a quirky older home that your flipping, DO NOT USE RC WILEY FLOORING. Their sales people in store will sell grand stories of possibility and luxury, but alas their installers are committed to minimal work, and they will not work with you if there are cracks in your subfloor. Basically, I gave RC wiley 2,000 dollars and took out a $4,000 line of credit and they showed up day of install and refused to put the floors in because they were worried about cracks in my subfloor. I then got them to reevaluate and at least take my tile up to see how bad it was and they balked again. My biggest complaint is why would you ever get this far in the process, if you guys are incapable of handling any sub flooring issues. THIS SHOULD BE THE FIRST THING OUT OF YOUR MOUTHS WHEN PEOPLE COME TO YOU ASKING FOR INSTALL. The direct consequences of RC Wiley refusing to instal 1) the line of credit I withdrew would make it impossible for me to get a low interest rate for another loan at a better company capable of installing floors. 2) Due to them delaying and refusing to install my house was empty for longer than necessary and my house was broken into. 3) I will never shop at any RC Wiley ever, your furniture looks like last years Motel 8 flanyway. -Also tell your sales rep who sent my business cards, "so i can recommend her to my friends and family," ya obviously thats not happening. UPDATE: i emailed yoat reviews@rcwiley.com and got no reply. Goes to show that the ineptitude I encountered is consistent through your entire company. It's honestly very sad that I feel it necessary to write this review. Growing up in Northern Utah, RC Willey was my families go to store for all things furniture and electronics. When I got married and needed my own furniture and electronics, RC Willey was where I went. I was a very happy RC Willey customer for years. Unfortunately, based on my latest experiences with the Henderson store, it appears that RC Willey is slipping. When I moved to Henderson this summer, we needed basically all new furniture. We were very excited to see RC Willey in Henderson as we had just moved from a state that didn't have RC Willey. Our first purchase was a couch. We paid the $60 to have it delivered. When I came home from work after it was delivered I found my front door casing had been badly damaged. When I inquired with my family about the damage they were surprised. The delivery team had not mentioned the damage to them. To their credit, RC Willey did take care of the damage. We figured it was just a one off and happily went back to shopping with them. We made several more visits after the damage to the store to shop for furniture. On each occasion we told the salespeople we were just browsing and didn't need help yet. Last week, we were finally ready to make some purchases. A salesman approached us and was helping show us a few different options. He spent probably ten minutes with us when his phone rang. He picked it up, which I thought was weird, and when he hung up he told us he had another customer and to text or call him when we were ready to buy. We walked around for another 15 minutes, figuring he would come back, but he never did so we left. After the experience we reached out to RC Willey's corporate team to provide them constructive feedback. We left cell phone numbers and email addresses. As of today, a full week later, RC Willey has yet to contact us and hear our concern. It seems sad to me that they appear to have no concern for a life long customer. It's becoming more clear why the Overstocks and Wayfairs of the world are taking business from the likes of RC Willey. Sad to see! read more

Let me begin by saying that RC Willey had the best variety on flooring that we could find. They offered many sales and great advice! We had Suzie help us through the entire process and she was terrific! Next, we did have a couple of issues. It was frustrating but I have to admit, Jan, head of the flooring department and Bill, head of the installation department worked for us and made sure that everything was taken care of!! The crew at Benos who put in our hard flooring, were amazing at their work! Really went that step extra! Then came the crew at Majestic who installed our carpeting. Ultimately, all of our concerns were met and resolved. RC Willey absolutely stands behind what they sell and how it's installed! They have great flooring for sale and great people to help you figure it all out! read more
