For 4.5 years I worked for a local company that designed high end linen for pillows of many different sizes, table runners, Christmas tree skirts, napkins, cosmetic bags and more. Mike and Erin the owners and seamstresses worked their magic every week for us. They were friendly, hard working, reliable and completed everything in a very timely manner. We often had them make over 200-250 pillows a month as well as our other items. Their work was outstanding. My daughter and I are looking forward to working with them on the alterations of our dresses for my daughter's upcoming wedding. RCB Fashion has done a lot of work for our house over the years. Mostly alterations and repairs. I have purchased a skirt from them, though it was not made for me. I aspire to have a reason to have Erin Foley make me a dress as I am in love with the pieces she creates. But I want to talk about the most important thing I have received from the hands of these makers. RCB is sewing masks during the COVID pandemic. For $3 you can purchase a quality mask, locally made by people whose craft normally makes beautiful couture wedding dresses. I am astounded and inspired by the kindness of RCB. Not only are they selling masks to fit the budget of any household income, they are also making and DONATING masks to healthcare providers on the frontlines of a world crippling pandemic. They could be at home resting their fingers. They could be watching Netflix, cooking wonderful meals, doing home improvements and playing with their dogs. Instead they are working tirelessly day and night to provide our community with a much needed service. I wear my mask every time I leave the house. My boyfriend wears his daily to work.
