Todd from Oz Stone & Ceramics is hands down the best contractor we've ever worked with!…read more We had been procrastinating on replacing the original shower in our home that was built in 2007. All of the quotes we got were outrageous - including a $24,000 quote from ReBath we had to suffer through a 3-hour presentation in our home just to hear. And that stuff is just plastic! Anyway, we knew we wanted something custom, which included: 1. Full demo / removal of the old bench seat 2. Floor-to ceiling large tiles (Minimal grout lines) 3. Custom floor (No pre-fab pan) 4. Dual shower head with 3-way valve 5. Frameless door 6. New vent fan (Our old one couldn't keep the mold out) You can see from the video our original shower was just gross. The caulking was worn out, there was water damage on the wall from leaks and mold, the tile was dated and I had to duck under the frame of the door every time I entered the shower. Todd came in for a quote and was super professional right from the start. He gave his honest advice on our design ideas and worked with us to find the right price for the work. I'm old school so these things matter to me - he looks you in the eye when speaking to you, explains things plainly and always shows up on time. He made a great first impression AND his quote was very reasonable. From demo to final product it took about 6 business days. Todd was very tidy and made sure to always pick up his mess at the end of each day. Honestly he was so neat he really didn't have much to pick up since he was always vacuuming and taping things off so well during the process. He was sure to check in with us throughout each day, making sure we liked the progress and asking approval when needed. He did all of the plumbing, electrical and tile work himself! We needed a custom piece of glass to fit our odd-shaped shower frame and he brought in Jose from Nwegen shower doors - he's worked with him for more than 16 years. Jose did an amazing job on (what I consider) a giant piece of custom glass and industrial hinges. First thing the Jose said to me when he got here was "I love working with Todd because I never have to second guess his measurements and things are always level." Seems like simple stuff but you know how they slap houses together now - things are rarely level to begin with. We are absolutely ecstatic about our new shower. There is so much more room inside, the dual shower heads are awesome and easy to adjust and best of all - no more ducking under the bar to get inside! Todd was so great to work with we were already hitting him with ideas for the rest of the bathroom before he was halfway finished with the shower. We have used several different contractors on our home and he has been by FAR the best professional connection we have made. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Bob came out…read moreon a Monday had to order the part and they had it next day and came out Wednesday and repaired which I'm thankful for. I am happy with that part of the service. I am however disappointed that he cracked/ripped the display panel when taking it off the old part and replaced it on the new part. I wasn't informed of this damage and when I got home to my surprise it looked tacky. I called next day and I was informed by the company that this sometimes happens and they said I could by a new display panel for $58 and they won't charge to put it on. I told them they should make customers aware before repair that this damage may occur and leave it up to the customer to repair or get a new oven.

Six weeks later, Ted left me a voicemail saying my carpet cleaner was ready - he mentioned that he was going on vacation but I could pick it up any time. I had sent him an email the week before to check on the status of our repair, so I just replied to that email letting him know we'd come pick it up after his vacation. A week later, my husband went to go pick up our carpet cleaner and I texted Ted to let him know that he'd be coming and to confirm his address. Ted replied letting me know what hours he'd be open that day so my husband headed over. Once my husband got there, he called me confused because Ted said that it wasn't ready and the "order wasn't even in" ... Then he proceeded to gaslight my husband saying he never left a voicemail and doesn't leave voicemails for his clients. It was such a strange thing to lie about when he couldn't have just said that he made a mistake and left a voicemail for the wrong person. I even said that he mentioned his vacation and he still doubled down on saying it wasn't him. Finally, two weeks later he let us know the carpet cleaner was ready and we could pick it up. It was such a strange interaction and the lack of honesty was disappointing. Not to mention that his shop was out of our way, so having to visit twice was inconvenient.
