My control panel on my oven needed to be replaced after using the self cleaning mode. Bob came out on a Monday had to order the part and they had it next day and came out Wednesday and repaired which I'm thankful for. I am happy with that part of the service. I am however disappointed that he cracked/ripped the display panel when taking it off the old part and replaced it on the new part. I wasn't informed of this damage and when I got home to my surprise it looked tacky. I called next day and I was informed by the company that this sometimes happens and they said I could by a new display panel for $58 and they won't charge to put it on. I told them they should make customers aware before repair that this damage may occur and leave it up to the customer to repair or get a new oven. read more

Our dryer stopped producing heat. Even though there was no urgency to repair the dryer (we have a clothesline and we like the sun) they sent their technician the next day. He knew immediately what was wrong and fixed the unit in 15 minutes for a minimal cost. I stopped by their store also and they have an interesting variety of appliances for sale at prices that I thought were very reasonable. The dryer repair was our third experience with this company, all positive. First was a replacement of A/C cables due to damage from our dog (the new ones are dog-proof), the second was a test and recharge of our A/C unit which had stopped producing cold air, and the third was this dryer repair. We were just at Appliance Quick Service this last Saturday and literally came in at 1pm when they close!!! We purchased a Speed Queen Washer and I will tell you we had a week of laundry to catch up on from 4 adults and this washer has been the best washer we have ever purchased!! We had a Kenmore Elite and had to be rebuilt 3 times and had the brain replaced 2 times... This Speed Queen isn't fancy but I will tell you it does a load in half the time as our Kenmore did! Matter a fact I can wash to load to what our Maytag Dryer can dry!!! After the 1st of the year we plan to get the matching dryer!!! LOVE Speed Queen!!!! read more

My dishwasher motor and pump went bad. Called Old Republic home warranty and they set me up with a different appliance repair in the area. That experience was bad from the start. Most negative reviews for that company....and there were a lot...is what I experienced. They made it seem like my livelihood and existence was because of them. Not the other way around. Then I was set up with Appliance Quick Service. Professional....friendly...prompt and knowledgeable. Only reason I didn't give more stars is because 1, I can't and 2 it took two service calls because they didn't have a new pump and motor on the truck the 1st time. But then I thought, why should they carry every part for every appliance from every manufacturer. Bob did an excellent job. Thank you. My experience has caused me to not only call the warranty company and advise them to dump the first contractor, but has lead me to write my first yelp review. Highly recommended them. read more

We've used AQS for years (until we finally broke down and got a new washer and dryer) They always did us right. Prices were more than fair and their service is excellent. Luckily we haven't had to see them in awhile but I did just recommend a friend to them because of the positive experiences we have had with them in the past. read more

So upset! Repairman arrived right on time but that was the only positive. He refused to work on my dryer because we had already removed the screws that hold on the back! We did absolutely nothing else, but he refused to work on it claiming it was a disaster. How ridiculous! We saved him a good 15 minutes by removing a total of 10 screws! This place Strives on Customer Satisfaction.... However my experience with this company was completely horrific... I had a scheduled appointment for New appliance Installation. When it was time to install my appliances only one guy showed up and tells my Husband he's only going to install the dishwasher and was unable to install the Cooktop, Wall Oven and Range hood because it was a 2 man job and the other guy got hurt at the job they did before us mind you they got to our house at 9am... Excuse me Really???? No one called us to inform us and have the choice of a possible reschedule... So I call the place to talk to the Owner "Robin" is her name I believe...I explain my frustration to her as any customer would and what does she do give me a complete attitude as if it was my fault her employee called in sick...and is arguing with me and telling me she her self is upset and she's the only one in the office and she's busy and frustrated herself... excuse me if I'm wrong but as a business owner making your customer happy especially when its completely your fault is the right thing to do.. She then tells me her 2nd Technician called in sick... ok so which is it he got hurt or called in sick... to add more to my frustration she has the audacity to tell me "well if you came to us because our prices are cheaper by all means I don't want you to have bitter felling's about us because we have been in business for long blah blah.. bottom line go elsewhere.. NOOOO you are actually $209 dollars more expensive then Home Depot and the only Reason I hired you was because Home Depot did not have the Date I wanted available... and when I asked if she was willing to compensate us for the inconvenience she actually said we quoted you wrong its actually going to be more.. PLEASE, Don't use this company to Service your appliances! I called for service and explained the problem, the appointment was set for 3:00 pm at 1:30 pm I received a call from the technician asking if he could arrive early, I let him know I was still at work. It would have to be 3:00 pm. I arrived at 3:02 pm to the service person telling "Huh, 3:00 o'clock right? He had already lit the stove and told me it works fine. I informed him it was not the oven, lighting, it lit when the control/clock was visible. "OH, I'm glad you said that, I'll have one of the girls call you back with an estimate on Monday" I said that's it $68.95 and five minutes and your out of here? "Yes, that's right. I called the office twice, asked them to not run my funds and that I was not happy with them and I would dispute the charges if the did. They left a message for me telling me the total repair would be $259.00 and some change. AND of COURSE they would apply the $68.95! Leaving only $185.00 and some change. By the way, when the charge came in at $71.02. NOT EVEN THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT! DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS SERVICE. OR Get a job there they must pay well for incompetent technicians who spend 5 minutes telling you they'll get you an estimate. Wish I had seen these other reviews first! Anita read more

We've had tons of problems with other repair guys. We figured we'd try these guys out. First of all, I was very impressed with the customer service. Not only were they nice in the store, but when the repairman got stuck at his previous appointment, we got a phone call letting us know he would be running a bit late. Very nice. Once he got here, we found that the problem with our fridge was not presenting, but he seeming to have an idea of what it might be. He did not just go ahead and change out parts and pieces just because it MIGHT be something....his site visit charge was reasonable. We were told up front that they will not work on some makes of appliances, so I am glad to know that. Make sure you know what type of appliance you have so you don't waste their time or yours. I would trust them to come to my house and work on my appliances again. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. If I could give 0 stars I would. It started as a minor issue, we were scheduled to have our oven fixed from 10-12. At 12:00 I called my husband at work and told him that they were not there and I had to go to the store and work. When he called to check on the status of the service person he was told that their van was in the shop and the repair would be from 1-3 now. I was forced to cancel work because I have children and have been without an oven for 3 weeks while a part was being made. At 3:15 the serviceman was still not here so I decided to call to try and get more accurate time. this is where it escalated. The woman that answered the phone explained the van situation, which is understandable. I told her that a little customer service would have gone a long way today and made this a lot easier. At that point she started talking over me loudly about how she told my husband that the van broke. I asked her to please not talk over me when I'm trying to explain my concerns so that she can understand why I'm upset. She then started YELLING at me about how my husband and I have not been "WARM" to her and how WE AS CLIENTS HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. She said that we are the only clients that have a problem when the service person is late and that they didn't know that I had to work or go to the store. She then told me that she was going to call my husbands captain and complain about him because people who have bad customer service should not be allowed to have a public service job. I hung up the phone. When the service person finally got here (about 3:30) I was visibly upset, almost in tears. He got started on the oven and I asked him if he could tell me who owned the repair company because I wanted to speak to them. The man told me that he wasn't going to tell me and then he put my oven door back on and told me to have a good day WITHOUT FIXING MY OVEN!! I have never been treated so poorly by any company ever. I can't even explain how upset I am about not only being threatened but the fact that I wasted 5 1/2 hours waiting for the service person and I still don't have an oven.
