I felt that I needed to declutter before I could even think about hiring a cleaner, but decluttering was so overwhelming that I never felt like I could get anything done. Cynthia and Yari came and were so sweet and non-judgemental about how bad things had become and got to work without any complaints! They went above and beyond to make sure every nook and cranny was cleaned, moving items around as they went without a fuss. Cynthia even helped organize my cluttered kitchen, and they both offered to help declutter and organize next time they come by. I didn't realize cleaners offered that, but both Cynthia and Yari were so sweet and kind and understanding that I had to give them a hug when they were done. They never threw anything away that I wasn't comfortable with, and they even wiped down the trash can and washed the plastic cups I randomly had in my sink! I have ADHD and autism, and I can be very particular about the weirdest things I keep in my house. But they never made me feel less than. That goes beyond value and beyond cost. He has that eye for beauty and symmetry…read more Carlos and his crew removed our 20-year-old carpet and vinyl planking and installed LVP (luxury vinyl planking) including the sunken Master Bedroom and the part-tile, part-carpet Master Bath. About 1200 sqft and 60 linear feet of baseboard extension for the sunken bedroom. Carlos came to our house with a sample sheet. Then measured and made an estimate that evening. Everything was above-board, in writing, licensed, and insured. The work done was beautiful, timely, and efficient! There was no materials markup: he put me in contact with his supplier, and I bought directly from them through his business account or cash if I preferred. That was good because we changed our mind about the color when we could see the large samples at the showroom. When the flooring arrived, he advised us to acclimate it for 24 hours, what a pro, then he installed it all over the weekend! We wanted to keep the existing wood laminate, you know, save $600, but he and we knew it would look much better if we replaced it all. Just look at the photos. The "particular service" requested by the third party was what complicated matters. I requested estimates from DGS along with 3 other companies. And honestly the other companies were some serious competitors, but DGS came out on top because of their pricing, and because their customer service was top notch; all of their team members were polite and professional. KC (great guy) came out to my home for the initial estimate with a wealth of knowledge, as well as samples on hand. He explained the process (prep to install) and the best options based on my subfloor. When he left I felt highly informed and educated enough on the materials to make better floor choices. Throughout the process I worked predominantly with Elijah. He provided a professional yet personal approach that made me feel comfortable communicating my needs with DGS. Elijah always made me feel welcomed when I would pop up at the show room/ store to show and compare samples I'd seen from other places. Elijah had a vast knowledge of the products as well as the warranty's associated, and he even gave me insight about the products (carpet, linoleum, hardwood, tile, and laminate) from the installers prospective. Numerous changes were made throughout the process by the third party, but the team was flexible and met the timeline they were provided. Elijah made sure the lines of communication remained open, and when a problem arose he presented options that were within the allotted budget, pleasing to the eye, and a quality product. The installation process was just as smooth. The installers were on time, did a fabulous job of making the seams match up and the previously unleveled flooring feel and look leveled. I'm truly more pleased that I thought I would be thanks to Elijah and the guys over at DGS. Elijah (a true Angel) kept the process simple and on track. He was so patient and professional at times that would have brought out the worst in anyone (due to the third party). No matter the request by the third party, Elijah came up with solutions to make sure the third party and I were pleased. I would highly recommend DGS. They provided me with a great product at a great value on time, and I will be hiring them for future projects.
