Our timeline was tight and we had several builds going on simultaneously which led to a lot of parallel work requiring tight coordination on Neev's crew. Every time something went wrong, Neev was already working on a fix before we even had to ask. He talked to us like a partner, not a vendor -- texted and called back fast, explained things honestly, never let us feel like we were in the dark. Honestly, at some point he stopped feeling like "our contractor" and started feeling like family. He and his team showed up on their days off, unprompted, because they wanted to see us in our house sooner. I don't know many people who'd do that. JS Vision Construction performed stucco replacement and structural repairs on the east wall of our…read more4 story condominium building, resolving an issue that caused water intrusion and wood rot. Our HOA Board used Yelp to identify general contractors to bid for the repair work. We had five contractors come out and submit proposals. Before meeting with the contractors, we sent them a rain leak report from a specialist which identified the location of the leak and the areas that needed repair. When we had our initial meeting with JS Vision, the Board was impressed with our interaction with their representative Amir. It was clear he had a real understanding of the problem before we met, and provided a clear outline of the steps and process needed to fix our issue. He also provided the quote in a timely manner, whereas some of the other contractors took weeks to provide their proposal. After review of the proposals, the HOA Board unanimously chose move forward with JS Vision. Amir and JS Vision were the most knowledgeable during our initial meeting, and their proposal was competitive. Once the construction started, JS Vision make sure we had the proper LA City permits, and the repair work was done to current city code. The workers JS Vision utilized were courteous, responsive, and always cleaned up at the end of the day which, was appreciated by all residents of the building. The repairs performed on both the exterior and interior of our condo building were high quality, and it was clear JS Vision takes pride in their work. Amir continuously checked in with us during the project to provide updates on timing, and quickly addressed and resolved any concerns we brought up during the repairs. After interviewing 3…read moreother contractors, we decided to go with Avi and Finesse because he showed the most enthusiasm and excitement for our project. I loved his attitude- he came in so full of joy, and never lost that joy throughout the project. You can tell he loves what he does. He was the only contractor who seemed to really hear me when I said what I had hoped for, and then he pitched his own ideas along those lines. We took almost all his ideas- which were really innovative and interesting. He followed up with me a couple days after the estimate (the only contractor to do so), and I figured if he was that interested in the job, his company would definitely do it well- I was right. A lot of the other contractors we interviewed made us feel like the job was too small for them, but we never felt that way with Avi and his crew. He always answered our calls or texts- which is actually pretty rare in this business. He was very responsive- never shirking responsibility- and definitely willing to fix any problems that came up during the whole process. That being said, there were a few problems. The project ended up taking about 2 weeks longer than originally estimated, and also cost quite a bit more. Some of that was just the nature of upgrading an 85 year old house (we had cloth wiring that needed to be entirely ripped out and replaced, and that process probably delayed our "simple" remodel by about 1 week.) Unfortunately, we also had some issues with the custom cabinets not being the right size, but Avi got the cabinet company to come back and make the fixes. The window sills were supposed to be made of the backsplash granite, but there was an issue with the measurements for that too, and we ended up with wooden sills instead. They still look great. This was my first experience with remodeling, and after talking to several friends who have had much worse experiences, it seems my issues were rather minor and not out of the ordinary. The most important thing is that Avi responded to and corrected all of the issues in a timely manner. In the end, all that really matters is the finished product. And the finished kitchen is truly beautiful! Avi's team, Luis and his son, were outstanding. You could tell they take a lot of pride in what they do, and they never half-assed any part of the remodel- the floor, the replacement dry wall, the trim, the window sills, the painting- it was all done with a lot of care and pride in making it right! The whole kitchen is gorgeous now, and I am extremely happy with it. I would definitely hire Avi & the Finesse team again!! GREAT JOB!
