It turned out that the person on their list also worked as an agent, but she (Joanna) went ahead and agreed and scheduled the appraisal. Joanna (the appraiser), came out to do the appraisal. I arranged for the keys to be left for her so that she could freely do her work without interruption. She texted me to let me know she had arrived and that she was doing the measurements of the property. Suddenly I received a TEXT stating she was resigning from the job. I asked her if something had happened and if she could give me a call. I called her several times and she refused my calls. She still has not called me back. No explanation and no call. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL She walked off the job without the courtesy of a phone call. I have asked that she give me a call just to explain why she left, but she refuses. Her supervisor, Ermalinda, promised and assured me that she would have Joanna call me, but nothing. They try to tell me that Joanna is separate, but she is EMPLOYED by Award. They owe me an explanation, that's all we've asked for. Again, they wasted a lot of our time and money, and now we are having to start over with another real estate agent. Very convoluted and unprofessional, with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY.

These blatant actions demonstrates a clear disregard for my rights and raises significant concerns about safety, liability, and ethical conduct. In addition to the violation of my privacy, this situation has caused considerable distress as a pregnant mother to young children. We brought this to the attention of Brenna Smith, Isaiah Melendez her the team lead and the office. Both Brenna and Isaiah are at fault for this. Isaiah was aware and apart of all communication. We are filing a formal ethical complaint with West and Southeast Valley Association of Realtors.
