    Tub

I asked the realtor who was showing the home about getting the tub reglazed or cleaned and he said to speak to the office about it. After getting bounce between robot to robot they later on said they see nothing wrong with the tub and when I asked for my deposit back they kept it. And I said to myself if 850$ saved me from a shitty company so be it NEVER AGAIN

If you are a property owner do not hire Re/Max Haven Realty. They are unprofessional and charge you for work that is unacceptable. They also constantly nickel and dime you with fuel charges, bill charge fees, trip charges etc. They also renewed a lease from a tenant who was destroying the unit. The tenant had a dog and unauthorized people living in the unit. The tenant was taking showers without a curtain and caused major mold downstairs. Re/Max was aware of the non curtain situation and they failed to address the problem. The only reason I found out the truth of what was going on was calling the contractor, Michael and he told me the tenant was destroying the unit. I then told Re/Max to give her 30 day notice. For the down unit the property management company hired messy painters and had drippings on floor, bathroom vanity, and kitchen cabinets. They left two rusty registers and did not paint it or replace it even though they charged me for that. They "deep cleaned unit and deep cleaned the carpet" with mice feces on their supposed rent ready apartment. They left a nasty stained toilet and were actively showing the apartment to potential tenants in this condition. The management company did not tell me the toilet was uncleanable. They left trash in the unit near the front door. I was tired of their continued unprofessionalism and nonsense that I decided to part ways. The new property manager took pictures of the rent ready unit Re/Max left. I now have to pay the new management company to re-do and take care of their messes to get unit rent ready. The staff can only be reached by email and have an answer to everything and never take responsibility for their actions. The owner, David, is unreachable by phone or email. He does not respond to issues. Please see the pictures as they tell the story. I also have emails from Re/Max staff that only prove they are dishonest and that I was scammed. I have also forwarded a complaint to BBB. Re/Max responded with offering me merely $30 to have someone replace two registers and put glue on the counter endcap (Re/Max charged a total of $2,600 for paint and included registers and charged $350 to repair kitchen drawer, counter endcap, install missing baseboard, repair vanity laminate). They refused to take responsibility for anything else including paint drippings, nasty toilet stain, mice feces, trash at front door, and they were showing this unit as rent ready as late as April 20, 2023. The new management company picked up the keys on April 21, 2023.

They fail to make promised repairs and blame the owners for not "getting back with them" and/or authorizing repairs.

CPM is the worst rental company I've endured (and I survived 444 park, if you know, you know)…read more They hire inexperienced maintenance workers and their communication is beyond poor. They have no clear channel of communication. I received texts and calls from various workers over the 3 years, it was never streamlined and hard to trust what is real from a scam. They left me without a lock on my door (inside the unit, but exposed to downstairs unit) for over a month, and allowed someone to move into the lower unit without letting me know/putting a lock on my door first. They randomly put a storm door on one day, gave a key to the basement unit, and didn't say anything to me about it. She informed me I could pay to copy hers. Mind you, the lower level tenant was not even given a key to this back door at move in, she copied mine. She was only given a front door key. So this made no sense. They are currently charging me $375 from my security deposit for window screens that never existed, plus a bunch of other bogus fees for routine turn over. If you proceed with renting a unit under them, please be meticulous in your property condition form. Get on your hands and knees and mark everything that is wrong with the unit (there's probably A LOT). I would also recommend keeping a running list of all maintenance requests, and communications from them. They are slimy and not to be trusted. Additionally, they waited until the morning of my move out to send me any instructions or information. I had already locked my keys inside, and turned off the gas and electric after not hearing from them for 2 weeks. When I sent an email that I did that, only an hour later did I receive an email saying "leave gas and electric on and return keys to leasing office to complete your move." It has been a terrible experience. They also just stopped returning emails regarding my security deposit. Please do yourself a favor and find another company to rent from. Home owners- you'd probably be better off with another company as well. They are doing a disservice to you as well.

This is a review from an investment property owner…read more Prior to purchasing the property, I contacted Jer'Me, He stated that both tenants were on time painting with no history of late payments. This was a large part of why I bought the property, but after I purchased it, he didn't informed me that the section 8 tenants Voucher was never approved, so there is no payment for her and the other tenant has never made a payment because she was new to the property. Turns out, Jer'Me moved both tenants in prior to the selling of the property and never Made the repairs in order for the vouchers to be approved. He moved the tenant in prior to any contact with section 8. Jer'Me Ben advised me to make the repairs in order for the section 8 voucher to be approved, I paid approximately $6800 total and after switching property management company, it was brought to my attention he never made those repairs. Furthermore, after paying approximately $1700 to prepare the other unit for a new tenant, he never painted the unit or made the repairs upstairs either. Jer'Me robbed me of approximately $8500 And when my new property management company contacted them to resolve the issue, he sent the pictures from the advertisement, and stated that we had the wrong property, even though we sent proof that nothing was repaired. My current property management company suggested he send the $700 from the new tenant that he placed before the switch, and he did not even want to do that. If you have tenants that you care about or if you're an investment owner, do not go with this "company."
